Terve! This is out of context but could you please explain why sometimes minulla on means "I have" but sometimes it means "i am" for example - minulla on kiltti koira (I have a well behaved dog) but there's also sentences like these - minulla on jo jano ( I am already thirsty.)... I'm really confused...

"Minulla on jo jano" literally means "I already have a thirst"
Minä olen jo janoinen = I am already thirsty
Paljon kiitoksia Espanjasta!
Ole hyvä! :-)
