36:07 what you missed that freaked El out so bad after spying on Billy, it wasn't that they saw Billy doing something bad. It was that Billy turned around and saw HER spying on him mentally.
Yep
14:36 "they did [Bob] dirty"
Oddly enough, it was the actor who played Bob (Sean Astin) who insisted Bob's death be so brutal.
Sean Astin will always be Sam Wise for me
@@Tonycillian5💯 even the writes has a hard time writing his death they didn't wanna kill him off because of the fact the didn't know how fans would react to "Sam" dieing and fact they had so much respect for him
The season 3 bloopers reel with Hopper trying to talk to Mike and Eleven is hilarious.
yesssss
"It's your grandma" 😂😂
I need to watch
Omg yes"its your grandma!😂"
It’s crazy to see how different the seasons are. As an older viewer of the show I was among a lot of people who waited years between seasons. But to see it like this seasons 2-3 is like night and day. Fantastic show.
I hate how people don’t like season 3 for being so different from 1, 2 and 4 but personally I saw it as coming of age summer movie. Almost like the sandlot
Not sure if Pateron let you know already, but one of the reasons the Russian plot is so prevalent is because the show takes places in the 1980s and back then there was nationwide concern of a possible pending nuclear war with Russia so this show kinda feeds into that a bit
Great reaction though as always! Forget to mention that originally haha
Yep that's why they were doing experiments so they can spy
We’ve had an impending nuclear war with them since just after WW2..
I think we all agree Stranger Things it’s a GREAT Show!!
I agree
"Suzie with a Z" killed me
Yes
Season 4 was very mid imo. I hope season 5 is better.
It is
Oh boy I'm not sure you guys can safely handle the awesomeness of season 4
the subtle clock sound when billy is in the upside down is such a great little easter egg for season 4.
There are 1-3 Vecna-clock-chimes in every season before season 4.
@@deathmeter7243 when in season 1 and 2?
@@lovelyhorror1 In season one episode one; Will falls off his bike after seeing the Demigorgon, a scene of his bike's back tyre spinning shows up and the chime plays. The clock chime also plays then Hopper and Joyce go into the upside down, I'm not super sure about it, but somewhere there. For season two I can't remember any exact times of when it happens, however, I do know that it usually happens when the upside down is shown or referenced. I'm pretty sure it happened at the end of some episodes in season two, like for example when Hopper went into the tunnels and the camera pans away.
@@lovelyhorror1 If you rewatch the show, even a casual rewatch you'll pick up on a lot of things.
@@deathmeter7243 oh right! the first clock chime scene sounds familiar. i’ll definitely have to rewatch to see the vecna easter eggs. thank you!
The Duffer Brothers really got the feel of the 80s with this season, the music, clothing and the mall!
The Cold War lol
Season 3 is an absolute banger, only surpassed by season 4.
season four had a strong start but it fell off imo
@@mason6950 nah the piggyback is the third best episode of the entire show. Wtf are you smoking??
@Ks-101right
@@amthenewgamerin his defense he did say “in my opinion” but I agree season 4 was the best season
3,4,1,2
max and elevens friend ship is best thing to happen in this show
I agree❤
Steve and Dustin are a bit better but they’re nice too
I can't wait for the next part of this season!
Elmax florever.
El and Max hanging out together at the mall is awesome!🍦🛍🍕🥤
Not Vince laughing with the misogynist paper dudes 😭😂
literally came to comment this cuz wtf
A lot of people don’t love season 3…I like the brighter more silly tone…it feels very mid-80’s…also the introduction of the wonderful Robin
Watch "Billy's" face and eyes this season - Dacre Montgomery's acting is out of the park. He's saying one thing but his eyes are screaming from the real him trapped inside the monster.
"I think it was like 1894" lol, so silly.
Ok i thought i was trippin 🤣
I was like wtf 😂
Lmaooo the way yall jumped at 46:20 😭😭
It keeps gettin' better!!! 👾 Many thanks to Shoshana & Vince!
3:55 Bro this man didn't need to go for Will like that 💀
Season3 It is the one that has the most reference to the 80's...one of my favorites along with S4.
Honestly Dustin and Steves friendship is one of my favorite things that started in s2, the chemistry is so good. Oh and Robin joining the cast is also a highlight for me 😅😅
fun fact: Robin is actually Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter, Maya Hawke!
in Wills case they hinted to his sexuality in season one with the bully's a lot and in season two a little bit.
Will having that breakdown in the fort makes me emotional…poor kid is constantly struggling ):
I love El & Max's friendship this season.🥰
I live for Dustin and Lucas screaming like Carlton Banks. If you know, you know.
This is probably my favorite season. Season 4 was epic for sure but something about this season still resonates with me I love it so much.
This is where it really comes apparent, but each season of Stranger Things is inspired by a specific horror movie trope.
Season 1 is your classic monster movie, with the Demogorgon stalking around town whacking people.
Season 2 is your classic Exorcist / possession movie, where Will gets possessed and they have to try and get the demon outta him.
And Season 3 is your Invasion of the Body Snatchers / Children of the Corn type shit, where Billy and a bunch of other people (and rats) have been infected and replaced to become puppets.
when max and eleven went to heathers house billy called max his sister and if you remember in the 2nd season he was very sensitive about people saying max.was his sister so when he said that max knew something was wrong
So glad to see you both reacting to season 3 so quickly! It’s quite a marathon this season, it never lets up!
They already have season 4 out on Patreon, they MOVIN.
THIS IS WILD?! I found yalls channel through the first reaction of ST today and ive been binging the reactions LMAO
Battle of Starcourt is still one of my favorite scenes/episodes of this series. Looking forward to your reactions
season 3 is my favourite season for sure!! can't wait to see the rest of your reactions they are my favourite!
Something to note. Will was gone all of season 1. All of season 2 he spent possessed and fighting the mind flayer. He missed a long time of his childhood and he expected to just pick up where he left off but all his friends were growing up 😢
Just felt I should point out that no kid in the 80s would just come out as gay. A gay guy would absolutely dance with a girl if she asked him, because he wouldn't want to be be tormented by his schoolmates for the rest of ever. I'm guessing slang has shifted a lot since then, too, because calling a girl a dog was a slight on her looks then, but you used it like a compliment. That's new to me.
The mall in this season was filmed at Gwinnett Place mall in Georgia, where me and my friends used to hang out when we were about Steve's age. Watching this season is like having the craziest flashback...it really looks exactly the same as then.
Thank you for watching the show and taking us along with you. So I can remember everything before season 5 starts.
I can totally see what Vince means when talking about Hopper and him fighting off the Russian. It’s like you guys were saying, El’s strongest person in the show and she would be able to defeat the guy. It would make sense for Hopper to die but they wanted him to be alive and all of that.
Also, when it went to the scene where you guys get to see Heather’s parents. I think you might have gotten the dad mixed up. It wasn’t the mayor, it was Jonathan and Nancy’s boss. I think, I’m not sure, but I remember looking up some info about some of the characters and I learned who Heather’s parents were but that was a while ago.
Re Heather's dad: you are correct.
Her man literally just died and yall like oh get with hopper… give it time lol
Not them thinking this is set in the 90's lol...
Co c c.
This was peak stranger things when it dropped summer of 2019 lol I remember even the Dunkin’s had the scoops ahoy outfits. They somehow outdid themselves in s4
Glad yall love this show. One of my favorites! The mall this was filmed in is like a 5 minute drive from my childhood home. Snuck in once just after the season came out and saw the set design. It was so fun!
No it’s not Billy who knows who Ell is it’s the Mindflayer inside Billy that now remembers and knows who she is as Billy’s just being controlled with memories that aren’t his from it
The whole Will thing is extra sad when you consider that for a year of their childhood he was running for his life in the upside down, and then for another year he was battling with being possessed by the mind flayer. Of his entire friend group he’s the one who missed out on their childhood the most so it makes sense that he wants to hold on to that longer
Season Three is probably my favorite season of this show so far. I almost think it's a perfect season, except for one thing they chose to do.
This season takes place in the summer of 1985. Jonathan & Nancy are still in high school, the newspaper jobs are just internships. Steve is the only one of them who has graduated.😊
Yes! Great reaction, as always. Every episode is a step up from the previous one, which is totally unbelievable greatness! The setting, the characters, the plot, the music, the everything!
You’re already on season 4 so you know by now, yes Will is gay, but that line in episode 3 wasn’t confirmation that he is (it’s the 80s, people stayed secret) it was more so, how you guys mentioned later, that Will still just wants to play games. The rest of the group has grown up and is in the phase in life when you start liking girls, Will isn’t yet. That’s what Mike meant. And that’s because Will spent two seasons missing/being held captive by other forces. He wants that lost time back, but his friends have moved on.
The whole friend group is dating now and Will isn’t there yet. Nothing wrong with that, but he wants to hold on to being a kid just a little longer
Y’all starting to post these stranger things reactions a lil quicker 😊👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I love stranger things
Watching this again with y’all took me back. It was nice to experience this season again.
The girls that El exploded the drinks were the ones who rejected Dustin at the Snow Ball
Yes, Shoshana, this takes place in 1894. 😂🤦🏼
Ts caught me off guard like a mf 😭, like she had to be joking right? 😅
@@cjjackson2423 Nah man, these two are really bad at thinking about multiple things while also trying to talk. She obviously meant 1984, but the fact that they read *One Year Later* and said, "They must be in the 90s now" makes me concerned she wasn't misspeaking. 😂🤦🏼
You seriously cannot react to these fast enough!! You guys are awesome!
Very few shows compete with the pacing in stranger things (My best examples being my all time favorites Agents of SHIELD and Fringe). But stranger things has a feel that is hard to replicate.
As far as I'm concerned every season just gets better.
Love you guys’ dedication to uploading 💕
Yes.. the 80's were EXTREMLY COLORFUL!! Lmao .. I look at old photos of me in the 80's.. and I laugh.. thinking... "What the hell was I wearing?!" haha .. but I really don't care.. cause to be a kid in the 80's was AWSOME.. and sooo worth wearing the very colorful clothes!! 😛
Hopper just gets funnier every season. And this is just the best.
9:16 giving me a lil ick right there 🫢
Exactly
And the way the girl is just sitting there while he’s lagging like.. I would’ve been like “that’s not funny”
46:20 best jump scare reaction ever LOL
FYI: the Stranger Things timeline is season 1 in November-December 1983, Season 2 takes place October-December 1984, Season 3 is June-July 1985, and season 4 takes place in March-April 1986. So the first four seasons covers roughly 2 years and a half years in these characters lives. As of season 3, Mike, Lucas, Will, Max, Dustin, and El are all 13-14, while Jonathan and Nancy are 17, and Steve and Billy are 18.
36:39 i cannot unsee the blooper for this scene lol
He says plot armor wait till the last episode, when one of the main character dies😂
Well Stranger Things does get better, Glad you guys loved Robin, she is a great addition to the cast.
This season is gonna be some great acting on Dacres (Billy) behalf
Season 3 & 4 are my favorites!!! Also this is still in the 80s.
This show is SO FREAKING GOOD!!
I, again, thought they could NEVER add anyone to the older kids. I mean, Robin is just AMAZING. She only gets better. Funny enough, so does Steve. This is season 3. There is no plot armor anymore. Know that, as you move forward.
Definitely my favorite season of them all, it's such a fun season.
I would say this is my favorite season of any show ever, I dont know why but it always bring me back to the quarantine days.
The actor who plays Billy does a phenomenal job
I have been waiting for this! So excited to watch it! 🎆 😊
Very rare that a show has this many amazing seasons in a row they are 4-0 in my opinion
I know you’re far beyond this episode now but I just wanted to say that I also thought that lifeguard Heather’s Dad was also the Mayor at first because Nancy and Johnathan’s boss at the paper and the Mayor look so much alike.
I’m so invested in this stranger things journey, I love your reactions ❤
I stumbled across your channel a few days ago and must say love the genuine reactions to arguably the best tv show ever(ive watched alot) season 1 is very good, season 2 decent, season 3 outstanding, season 4 prepare to have your minds blown! another sub for you.
I just discovered your channel and i love your horror reacts and i recommend archive 81
The pool scene where Billy comes out, and the Cars song moving in stereo is playing was taken directly from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High, another 80's movie. They reference Phoebe Cates who is the actress in the movie, and has the iconic scene of her coming out of the swimming pool in slow motion to the Cars song. You may have seen it and not even realized it.
AAAAAH U GUYS POSTED ANOTHER STRNAGER THINGS REACTION AAAAAH IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH OMG THANK Y YOUUUUUU AAAH
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
yes i look forward to this everytime
Hey Vince, if you were wondering who the blonde haired actor at the editor's meeting table complaining about the missing mustard on his hamburger, It's Jake Busey, Gary Busey's son. Gary is the one who played the antagonist to Mel Gibson's character in the first LETHAL WEAPON film, who also teamed up with LETHAL WEAPON co-star Danny Glover in PREATOR 2.
Y’all get ready cuz in season 4 is bout to get real 👍🏾
Not the Major but the boss from Hawkings post and Nacy and Jonathans boss...
im so excited to see yall react to the ending.... (and sad)
I’m so excited!! Ive been waiting and im js so excited for your guys reactions to the rest of the show ❤️
I LOVEEE THIS SEASON SOO MUCH!! Even though I didn’t grow up in the 80’s I was raised on iconic 80’s movies and this season really brings out all the nostalgia for so many iconic 80’s movies. It truly feels like an 80’s action adventure movie.
Also the kids looks so much older here because there was a slightly bigger gap in filming between season 2 and 3 than other seasons. And an even bigger time gap between season 3 and 4 due to the pandemic.
Also the whole Russian plot in this season some people hated and thought it was too far fetched but I LOVED IT! Because it reminded me of this 80’s movie my brother and I used to watch as kids called Red Dawn. Where Russia basically invades America and this group of teens save the day.
You guys are awesome!!
Yall had me dying when the Russian popped up on hopper 😅😂😂
The whole series of stranger things has always taken place in just the 80’s .
7:20 - Lol, I drink soda with a straw. It prevents the sugar from damaging your teeth.
Season 3 and 4 are so well done
I always look forward to your stranger drops my fav reaction of yours at the mo
Yes, the babysitting starts
the 90s? This whole show is very VERY 80s..
Great video!!
I really loveee thisss gajsvshsgs, the casting it's so good I'm so excited on your reaction to the other ep let's goo
Love the matching hoodies
season 3s vibes are impeccable.
I'm binge watching this channel.
I first discovered movie/show reactions for myself with _Stranger Things_ season 3 when it first came out. I feel like the genre has blown up since that time and I've been addicted to reactions ever since. 😂
Wow this show is the best thing that ever happen to this series
First time we hear that clock chime think about that when season 4 starts
