    I don't mean this in a negative way, but it's nice to see how capable it is even in the hands of a novice.

    This past weekend we traded my 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk for a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk Elite. I love it. My 2015 was great. The improvements on the 2019 are awesome. I do wish they hadn’t done away the the bar in back. There’s still enough room there to have kept it or offered it as an extra.

    • @mrjomaled755
      @mrjomaled755 5 лет назад +2

      I also wish they kept the front end styling of the previous KL. The one now looks generic and so boring. I like the shark nosed look of the previous one...quite menacing to look at! I agree about the bar in the back which held a few hooks and stuff...it was quite useful.

      That's funny to see your comment. I own a '14 trailhawk and I literally just today preordered a new '19 RAM 1500 Laramie with the Off-Road package and air suspension. I will be posting offroad videos as soon as it gets here on my channel!

    Just ordered my billet silver 2020 Trailhawk Elite yesterday. Trading my Anvil 2014 Trailhawk for it. Should be here in a few weeks. My 2014 hasn't been mechanically perfect, particularly with the transmission, but I've enjoyed the vehicle so much otherwise that I'm going to give it another go and hope that they've corrected most of the issues over the past six years. It's really the only game like it in town in this class.

      I'm 5'11" and my dad is 6'1" and both are mid 250 size guys and we fit great and have been very comfortable in mine when he rides/travels with me. Still plenty of room in the back for others too.

      My Cherokee Trailhawk is one of the most comfortable vehicles I've ever sat in. The seats are superb, and turn on the seat and steering wheel heaters and you never want to get out.

    We dove one of these in 2016 and we were so impressed with it we bought a '99 Cherokee XJ After a parcel restoration with a 2" lift, we are pleased to own a capable Jeep not based on a Dodge Dart or a FIAT 500

      This Jeep isn't based off the Dodge Dart. It uses some of the Dart parts in bin but this Vehicle's platform was based off of combining the Alfa Romero platform with the Jeep Engineers. The fact that you bought an XJ means you were never a potential clientele for this vehicle. This is a Jeep Crossover and it's never been advertised as anything else. Not out problem that you mis understood the purpose of this vehicle.
      Enjoy your inferior Jeep when it comes to everyday driving on the ROAD. Sure Off Road with mods your XJ is better suited. Hence why it makes no sense that you even considered buying this Model.

    • @silentstormstudios
      @silentstormstudios 4 года назад

      Yes, the beeping is the parking sensors. But if you don't want to listen to them, you can always turn them off with the push of a button, or turn the volume down in the settings.

    is subaru better all wheel drive than cherokee trailhawk

    • @MichaelMiller-rg6or
      @MichaelMiller-rg6or 6 лет назад +1

      The Cherokee has a true low range, lockers and a traditional geared automatic transmission. The Subaru has a CVT, a less powerful engine, and no low range. The Cherokee's 4x4 is definitely better.

    • @AWDfreak
      @AWDfreak 6 лет назад +1

      Michael Miller - from the perspective of off-roading, Jeep Active Drive Lock is the superior choice for off-road use that could challenge a crossover vehicle. However, on pavement, I'm leaning towards any of Subaru's AWD systems performing better.

    • @MichaelMiller-rg6or
      @MichaelMiller-rg6or 6 лет назад

      I guess you have a point there. Even on pavement, Jeep's AWD will get the job done. It really depends what kind of driving experience you want. But then again, I guess in all but the most hardcore situations, Subaru's AWD works decently well off road too.

    • @AWDfreak
      @AWDfreak 6 лет назад +1

      Michael Miller - Subaru's AWD systems are more well-rounded, as they perform admirably both off-road and on pavement. But when things get extremely difficult off-road is where the specialized Jeep hardware and programming come into play. A current-generarion Subaru Outback (MY2015-2020 most likely) with skid plates will probably go 80% of places a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk can go off-road without modification besides the mentioned skid plates. The tall lower ratio range of the Outback's Lineartronic CVT and less off-road focused design are really its downfall for unpaved exploration, while the Cherokee Trailhawk has true low-range and the only one in its class [2-row midsize crossover] with a real differential locker. My issue with the Jeep AWD systems is that they try to save fuel on pavement and high traction situations, meaning it is a reactive AWD system. I prefer a proactive AWD system that is truly using AWD all the time when on pavement, and I value pavement manners with a decent blend of almost-best-in-class crossover off-road capability (hence why I drive a Subaru). I still get jealous when I see these Trailhawk-badged crossovers take on things a comparable Subaru crossover would need more modification to do safely.

      Subaru’s aren’t designed for rock climbs, etc.. completely different systems.

      I kind of agree, I liked the front end of the 2014-2018 generation. I'm going to miss my 2014 Trailhawk, but I'm looking forward to the new one at the same time. There are some nice improvements, maybe most notable of which are the much better LED headlights.
