Thanks for your interesting comments. I'm 79 now and my body has forced a lot of delivery stance changes on me. But one result has been that I've gone back to square one to re-learn my delivery technique. Could you have a look at the foot position on the mat please? Could you show us how the line varies depending on the delivery position from where you actually stand and place your feet?
For some reason, I feel more comfortable bowling on my back hand and avoid forehand as often it seemed to go long. Is this because I am right handed? When I do bowl forehand, I make an effort to be accurate and it often is a good shot. I only play once a week at most and always in a game, so I never practice. Someone once said to me to slow down my arm when playing forehand as it is stronger because I am right handed. Any thoughts on this please?
Hi Munchkin I haven’t heard that before I said in my bowling on one side video that I had spell of avoiding the forehand- I was pulling it and using a different delivery style Perhaps we try too hard to keep my line and push through too hard Thanks for your question - hope this helps Richard
