I like it. Plus the texts has been removed. Marvel is continuing to have no opening credits and no title logos at the beginning Lol But, that’s not the case.
James Gunn had to have some kind of childhood trauma to make this intro so accurate. This is me every other morning from waking up from nightmare about a terrible past that happened over 15 years ago. The singing is spot on, he's specific of what words he chooses.

@@landenfallsable, scariest thing about Rocket’s origins is that this kind of stuff actually happens to other animals in reality. And if you think the opening sequence was THAT traumatic, you probably haven’t seen the rest of what else happens to him in the flashbacks or in the comics for that matter.
7:59 I remember being so blown away by how awesome this entrance was but as soon as I saw that close up shot, I thought to myself " yeah this is definitely gonna get memed"

The minute I noticed that this didn’t start off with the usual dance sequence, i already knew I was in for an emotional rollercoaster.
3:56 - 4:01 I just noticed how clever was the usage of Creep in that moment. Rocket says that he's not a damn raccoon and the song continues with "But I'm a creep", reminding us Rocket's past and the cruelties he suffered.
The hardest thing about this film was Peter’s struggle to let go of Gamora. His depression state was emotional in the case from his previous losses; his mother, Yondu, and Gamora were the center of his universe and like how Thanos wiped out half the galaxy, he was in a state like the surviving avengers who failed to stop him. Peter’s situation was similar to how Thor was when he failed to prevent Thanos and he too fell into a drunken depression for 5 years. The only way to let go of Gamora was to come to terms that her variant was not the woman he once loved and saving Rocket’ life and all the High Evolutionary’ captives helped find peace again.

Disney plus members get it for "free" and they get the imax version. Doing it this way allows them to actually sell the movie which makes sense.

I still find weird how Rocket likes music now, it comes out of nowhere in vol. 3 sure we got hint of it twice in volume 2 but not from infinity war, endgame, or the holiday special. It makes sense to not hint it in the first guardians. And in the guardians vol. 3 its revealed in rocket's flashbacks where he heard music, and liked but than again he never wanted to listen to any of peter's songs until guardians 3. It's just a nitpick I have about rocket in vol. 3 but I still love the third movie.
That's a valid point! Though in Guardians Volume 2 Rocket asked Yondu if he had any copies of Quill's old music?, which suggests that he now enjoys Quill's music.
Additionally, Rocket didn't seem to have a problem with it in Infinity War, and was even listening to it with the other Avengers while they were building the time machine in Endgame. I also really enjoyed the third movie.
It's not quills music really. It's a random Zune's music from earth that Kraglin gave him. Also a lot has happened since Endgame and Thor L&T. He's slowly opened up a tad and Peter bled into him some.
He had a disdain for music for most of his life because it reminded him of the High Evolutionary and what he put him through. Once he met Quill, he slowly began to enjoy music again, such as in the beginning of the second movie when he wanted to listen to music while the Guardians were working and when he asked Kraglin in the second movie if he had any copies of Quill’s old music. He’s perfectly fine listening to music in Infinity War as seen when the Guardians first show up. Rocket is also shown listening to music on the way to New Asgard in Endgame (the music that was playing for the audience). As for the holiday special, the end had Christmas music over the speakers that Rocket was listening to with everyone else before he was having fun alongside everyone else when Kevin Bacon was performing with the band from Knowhere. It definitely isn’t out of nowhere and he’s had a love for music since the end of the first movie/beginning of the second one.
we did not get a 'hint of it' in vol 2, he straight up played quill's music during 2 whole action setpieces back-to-back

There’s a mistake on the album Art on the Zune in the beginning. The version of Creep used in the movie is the EP version of creep that has a different cover art than the album, the Zune shows the cover of the Album not the EP.

Finally a good MCU movie compared to their crap
GOTG3 shouldn't even be called an MCU movie. Unlike all of the other projects they've released, this movie was emotional from start to finish & gave these characters a satisfying conclusion. I know we won't get anything like this again due to how stale the MCU has gotten in 3 years

This movie it’s really so amazing, I cried when I watched in the theater, I used and I use to read Guardians of the galaxy comics ‘cause are my favs, and see all these James Gunn production was so amazing! He really did a good Job in marvel studios and it’s so sad to say goodbye to the original team on these films, He really made a good final for the team of the guardians in my opinion, of course🥹😢❤️
