You're welcome. Just be aware that there may be some differences between the Alberta Building Code (which you'll use) and the Ontario Building Code (which I use in the videos). I believe they're essentially identical, but you never know.
Sir, you are the best and l love you explanations. l find the building code frustrating but l am now enjoying it after learning from your videos. Please keep up the great work. AMAZING :)
Hello and welcome. If it can help, here is a series of videos I use for an introductory course about the Ontario Building Code: ruclips.net/p/PLK5YrhWb8s_8orB9zZN55dtl-wTtxzs1Y
Dear Francesco... Thanks for all you do. How can I get the Ontario Building Code book so that I can follow up with your youtube OBC Tutorial Series? I have searched online and I see different versions and different names of the OBC book and I got confused. DO you have a recommended link that you can provide for me to purchase and is it compulsory that I have the OBC book before I take the BCIN exams?
Hi there! Thank you for your message. I would recommend the digital copy of the OBC. It is now allowed for BCIN exams. Get it for free here ( www.ontario.ca/page/request-digital-copy-2012-building-code-compendium ). I cover how to use it here ( ruclips.net/user/liveumGo54xah00 ). I hope this helps .
What a great question! 👍 The answer is YES. I think many others could benefit from the answer (and the explanation). So, I am making a video response for this right now, and I will post it as soon as it is ready.
Hello! This is what worked for me: The self-study manuals (coursepacks.sohobusinessolutions.ca/). For me, four weeks study = one BCIN exam. This is how much I studied: 1 hour for each weeknight Monday to Friday + 8 hours on Saturday + 8 hours on Sunday = 21 hr/week. IMPORTANT: I am not affiliated with the providers of the manuals, and this is purely my personal opinion.
You are God sent I needed this here in Alberta. I will follow you videos to the Tee. Thank you so much.
