I appreciate your technique of tutoring..close view, using the same beads as the sample, good color contrast. And clear explanation of bead positions.
Thank you Sandra🌻😊🙏
I just made this in white with neon colors it's awesome and it was fun and not to difficult to do!
Sounds beautiful!
Well, Stephanie, you did it again. Your instructions and great camera close-ups were so clear. You convinced us once again that we can do this! Thank you for helping us to be better, more confident bead weavers. What a gift you give! You are simply the best!
Thank you so much Sharon 🙏🌻😀 I love teaching and sharing what I know about this craft! Thanks you again for your kind comment🌺
❤️❤️❤️❤️🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
You know what?..I believe the light bulb in my head is beginning to shine a little brighter--seeing this stitch done with bigger beads is a huge help--maybe, just maybe after watching over and over, I'll finally begin to understand and be able to use this stitch--maybe for this necklace. Thanks, Stephanie, for being one of youtubes best mentors.
her very welcome Sue! I know you can do this 🌻🙏😘
I just learned craw, praw with stations was next . Lookie here, Steph is at the very technique. Old dog is still learning. TYTY.
Yay!!! So glad you're learning these stitches🌺 Jeanette. Im an old dog as well! We are very teachable LOL 😜🤣😂
As a quick FYI, got thru to the first station to boot today.
Wow I have really struggled with this stitch but seeing it done with big beads and your great camera closeups I think I might finally manage it lol thanks for all your brilliant tutorials.
You're very welcome Anette! Often trying it with bigger beads at first makes a world of difference! You can do this!!!
I love this stitch. Every time you make something using the PRAW stitch, I make it in so many different colors. I need more beads!!!!!! I can't get enough of your work!!!
Thank you Paulette😊🌻🙏 I’m on a second one in Onyx!
Ty ty for sending me this link. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it, but I knew I watched it b4. Thx again I’m about to work on some jewelry
You’re most welcome 🙏
I like it because cause it is a delicate statement piece. Hard balance to make. Excellent work.
I agree! You can certainly tell my design aesthetic! I'm all about simple and classic 🌻
Love the look of this necklace. Can't wait to try it. You are such a good teacher.
Thank you 🙏
That’s beautiful thank you vrey much i like it i trays make this

Another wonderful necklace, and your instructions as usual are wonderful. My favorite stitch is the craw. so this was easy for me. Thank you again.
Thank you Linda🙏😃🌻
This necklace is really beautiful! Not a short project...... definitely takes a while to make but sooooo worth it! Thanks Stephanie - a very special piece.
Thank you Jennie😊🌻🙏 It goes fast after the first section. Just when you’re getting tired of the small beads, the station section comes along 🤣😄😆
Yum love this currently obsessed with beaded ropes and bangles
+Chloe Bishop Thank you Chloe 💗

What a lovely piece of work! You are fantastic. Thanks for your knowledge.
So I'm just going to straight up say this- you can explain ANYTHING in a way people can understand. Kind of an awesome super-power, if you ask me!
I can envision this necklace with Amazonite, Labradorite or Pink Tourmaline. All of which would be absolutely stunning! Thank you Stephanie for yet another gorgeous tutorial!
Sounds absolutely stunning💕💕💕
Your tutorials are always the best!
Aren't they easy to follow along with. She is a great teacher.
Thank you🌸
Brilliant as always Steff you are a real talent love you
You have the prettiest hands and such a nice voice. I'll never be talented enough to make anything like this but I like to watch your work!
Aww your every kind 🌻🙏🌼 Yes you will be able to make this! It is just beads and thread...easy once you get the stitch. I"m around for help and encouragement!
Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry Thank you so much! I will have to try it. 😊❤️
To use your expression..... LOVE LOVE LOVE!💖💖💖
Wow! I tried it with the 3mm beads and it makes perfect sense the way you've gone through it. Remarkable, Stephanie! And so uplifting to see in the comments that so many of us are loving it like I am!
Thank you Judith 🌻😊🙏 It always make sense to me as well to practice with larger beads when learning a new stitch!
And then it really is magical to see it in the smaller scale. Going from Stepping Stones to CRAW and then this is a beautiful transition, a bit like the transitions of the bigger beads in the beaded bead. Smooth. Some day I will figure out how to post photos on Facebook, because my pieces are pretty, but for the moment I'm pretty lame in that category. The beading itself makes more sense!
Beautiful necklace Stephanie!
Thank you Teresa🌸
Another gorgeous work of art! Thank you, Stephanie, for this
wonderful tutorial.
Thank you 🌻
Stephanie, I love all your designs! I’m going to try this making this necklace. It’s so beautiful 😻

Yet again a beautiful video and stunning piece of jewelry! I like this even more than the craw . I like the roundness of the tube. So exciting! Thank you!!!
Thanks Judith. I agree about preferring PRAW. 💖
Another beautiful piece! I just love your style!!
Thank you Patti💐
I absolutely love this. Can't wait to try it. Thanks Steph. You're the best.
Thank you so much 😍
Gorgeous!!!!!! I love, love, love this necklace!!!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Thank you Cin💜
I usually change the style to make it "my own". I dont know this stitch, but I think if I copied that segment over and over I could master this. I appreciate the bigger beads and the close-up. Tfs.
Yet another marvel of yours Stephanie! Thank you - I've never done PRAW before so I will try this weekend. Love your color set.😍
Yes!!! Im so excited you're going to try it!!! Have fun :)

Gorgeous project 🌹👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Annalisa💐
You're amazing amazing amazing thank you 🤗
Aww thank you 🙏
Watching this stitch again and yes, I finally get it!! Just gonna have to use the Miyuki or Tohos, right?? The "big box" seed beads won't work because they're not uniform, right?? And one more question, what happened to using the black pearls on this one? Either way, very much love your work and the calm manner in which you share! Thank you, you are very much appreciated!!
Yay Diane!! i'm glad it worked for you🌺 Yes, using Miyuki or Toho will make it much easier create this piece. I sometimes change the colors I use if I think it will be easier for viewers to see on camera. The black wasn't as clear when I viewed the footage so I switched to white 😀
Hermoso!!!👏👏muchas gracias, saludos desde México 🌷 😊🌷
Great. This Etsy shop is called ArteBellaSurplus and is full of beads we can use alongside the Miyuki base for pieces like this necklace and lots of other designs. I've had so many great experiences there and wnated to share my source of beautiful Czech beads. Thank you Stephanie!
Thanks Judith!
Beautiful🌷💜🌷
Ooh. Excited. Love it
Thanks gill🌻
Thank you so much for this new video. It's simply wonderful ❣
You're very welcome Tajana 🌻
As always another beautiful design. I have used your tutorials to learn and make many pieces They are fabulous. The one quesition I have is regarding the 2mm druks. Are they silver or did you find them in pewter to match your 11/0 seed beads. I love light pewter seed beads but am afraid silver may be too shiny.
Rhonda Merson Thank you Rhonda🌻 Thr Druk Beads are shiny. I like the contrast with the pewter. You could probably find them in pewter or maybe matte silver. Try some of the websites in the description.
It’s beautiful. Thank you.
Thanks you sonia
Stephanie, where do you get all these colors of seed beads, like nickel and light smoky pewter? I can't find them on any website that I know of.
+Chris Living Try Aura Crystals and Beads. Also Eureka Crystals. Beadaholique, Rockin Beads and Amazon in a pinch! Let me know how it goes.
Çok güzel olmuş elinize sağlık
i put your material list in a book .would you consider allowing us to print your material list?
I got it I got it!!!! I'm left handed so I have to reverse the process. It's very confusing for me at first. So I work it upside down & to the left and towards me Wew!!
+Robin Lentini Yay!!! I’m so glad it worked for you🥰 My hubby is a lefty so I understand your challenges. I bought him lefty scissors. Makes such a difference. We tend to bump elbows if we sit next to each other in restaurants lol 😆
I really love this I have started it and up to second lot of pearls absolutely love it thankyou so much,, gilly
Thank you🙏🌻💐 Goes pretty fast, doesn't it?
A friend directed me to your video. I had a necklace almost identical to this that my Italian mother in law made for me some twenty years ago. She copied it from a fairly modern painting in a gallery in Palermo, Sicily. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Beading is one of the oldest art forms and well over 100,000 years old so I am sure our predecessors have tried every pattern known to man! I also bead and have copied my mother in laws "copied" necklace many times for family members. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is a great place to see antique beading and there are dozens of praw necklaces there, many not dis-similar to this one.
Beautifully beaded jewelry never goes out of style! Classics like a station necklace are always going to be in style! There are so many ways a designer can interpret them.
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry I mention this as a good friend who beads for film and television ( she did Downton Abbey) was sued by Van Cleef & Arpels for making a PRAW necklace and calling it her own design. They claimed it was their patented design even though her design was made with different beads of different sizes. I learned from this and no longer claim designs as it can be very costly. Lovely work, just the same.
Anna Goodall I don’t think Van Cleef can claim PRAW as their beading stitch or a station necklace as their design. If anyone owns the stitch it’s probably Native American in origin. Sounds strange to me but I guess when your a luxury brand you can do anything you want?
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry they won the case, yet Praw can be seen in ancient Egyptian jewelry. They made one for Princess Diana, gold with a black jewelled motif at the front. It went from thick to thin. Pat's one looked nothing like it. A case of big money intimidating the little person. Just in case I just put made by..... on my labels. Makes me mad! I don't think anyone can claim any design considering how old the craft is. I agree native Americans made many designs, but Egyptians were 2000 years before them, so I'm guessing they contributed a vast number of designs. Nice channel. Keep going! :-)
Thank you for the great tutorial... I love the jewellery you wear too! can you put links to the tutorials for the jewellery you're wearing... Thanks!
Vivlaw13 You’re very welcome 🌻 Yes, I will a link in the description box under the video of what I am wearing!

Thanks it’s lovely shall make it tonight
Thank you Tehseen❤️Im so glad you're going to make this one!
Yay!!♡♡♡Oh my I finally got it I now see it thanks u so much xxx
Can't wait to make this! The info under the video shows that you got the end caps from Amazon. Any chance you could share the specific product? I have not had much luck searching for the correct size on there.
Glad you’re going to make this one Deb! The caps are Panda Hall Elite - 80 pieces Antique Silver bead Caps. Amazon app won’t let me copy a link so do a search .
Hi Stephanie. Can you tell me with the cord ends, is the 6,5 to 7.5mm the internal size. Going to attempt this 6 weave for the first time. thank you Cathy
Catherine Nicholson So sorry I missed your question Catherine🌻 It is the internal size
Thank you . I have made a start. I’m at my forth station. Lots of mistakes along the way including too many rows on second station and I only noticed after the third.
I never imagined when I started beading that I would accomplish this so thank-you very much for your tutorials.
Catherine Nicholson You’re welcome 😉 Mistakes are the best and most necessary part of learning and creating! Keep going with your necklace! It will be beautiful 🌸🌸🌸
What size is your end cap and the inner diameter, also the size of the lobster clasp?
End cap is 10mm long with an inner diameter of almost 7mm. The lobster claw is approximately 25mm long x 10mm wide at the widest part.
Love this necklace. I’m working on it using sesame jasper which is a dusty pink. Help! I can’t find the end caps to fit it. I didn’t find them on amazon. Do you have a more specific cite? Thanks. Claire DeBor
Thank you 🙏 Panda Hall Elite Tibetan Bead caps. Check the sizes. Mine had 8 different sizes.
First let me say Thank You, I have spent the day learning these stitches. Finally I managed to get them. Guess what? For some strange reason the 6 beads become 5 so I end up making the chain with 5 instead of 6. Does this happen to anyone else?
Carmen Barros Hi Carmen 🌻 Thank you 🙏 You probably missed your last bead when creating the faces of the units. On the positive side, you have learned to decrease😊🤣🙏
Thanks Stephanie! So beautiful! I’m already on my necklace now :) I was lucky to have the right beads ready. I’ll post my project on Facebook
Wonderful! I can't wait for you to finish. You're going to love wearing this one💖
I can’t find the supply list. Help!
The materials list is in the description box under the video. Click the down arrow or show more and the box will open 🌻
Hi were could i buy the glue in caps? thanks!!!
Not a necklace person but would love as a bracelet
Thank you 🌻😊🙏
Um, would it be all right to mention this fabulous Etsy shop where I found some amazing beads to do this design?
RUclips usually won’t let you post a link here in the comments. You can put the name here just not a link.
Beautiful necklace, working on mine as I type. Just tried the video for adding thread and it tells me video is unavailable. I will figure it out. Thank you for your wonderful video, always the best.
+Esther Raspiller Thank you Esther. I tried the video and it is working. Try this link ruclips.net/video/5EUHNUvK9hU/видео.html The link in the description box is now working as well.
Ho, i am italiano, Sorry dir my english. Iwould like to make this necklace as pictured, with 8/0 silver and black beads. how you do it? the tutorial starts with 3mm pearls. could you give me instructions? thank you
I’m not sure how to instruct you. Are you using all 8/0’s. If so, follow the chain part and leave out the stations. If your stations are the 8/0 follow the pattern and add 8/0’s as the stations.
Love it!!
Thank you Carolyn🌻
U are so cute when u said "subscribe,..right down there. "😂
Hahahaha 😆😆😆
