How to Boil Eggs in the Microwave

Learn how to boil eggs in the microwave in just a few simple steps. Simply place eggs into a microwave-safe bowl, fill with water and salt, then heat.

Ingredients:
4-8 large eggs
2-4 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
Prep the eggs. Add the eggs and salt to a large microwave-safe bowl. Fill the bowl with water 1/2 inch above the eggs.
Cook in the microwave. Heat the eggs for 10 minutes or until the water has been boiling for 6 minutes (for hard-boiled eggs).
Place into an ice bath. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave with oven mitts. Use tongs to place the eggs immediately into the ice bath. Let chill for 3 minutes.
