How I Make: A Cutting Board

I know cutting boards are a dime a dozen on RUclips and DIY sites but I found it a fun challenge. Being that there are so many different designs and types of wood you could choose from makes it a fun but challenging woodworking project. It was my first one and I learned a lot along the way from watching several videos and by just jumping in and getting after it. I will link some of the videos I referenced for the build below.

For your first board, this looks pretty dam good. However, can I offer you a tip, you were running the router the wrong way, if you run it the other way you will find it easier and get a smoother Finnish. The best way to figure out which way to rout is to cup your thumb around the corner of the workpiece then whichever way your first finger points is the way you rout (like holding a finger gun when you were a kid)
