Lmaooo, they're doing the same thing as Korea. Do you even know how much kpop promote in Japan to get into their market? If Korea can do that, why can't Japan? It's not kpop too, that they're doing is pop. Japan always had the best hip hop and rock. It's just that their jpop are catered to japanese and have remained stagnant, I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll reinvent or rather, bring back pop Ps. Japan really cherishes korean artists that are thrown away by Korea. BoA is one of the most respected in Japan compared to her own country, she saved SM and is now treated like trash. They also don't consider idol as the height of one's growth, their mentality on idols are different from korea
