Thank you for what you do. I have a test coming up that determines whether I will get this job or not. I'm extremely anxious. I also get extreme anxiety that pulses through my body before I travel. I'm not scared of airplanes or where I'm going. There's no 'fear', but I hate airport crowds and hate the travel part, both get me very anxious before trips.

It all comes down to accepting that being nervous before a test is normal but. The sensations and your interpretation is making you uncomfortable and overthink it because of the discomfort when I’m reality it is ok and feeling nervous in this situation is normal

How do I go about driving when my intrusive thoughts about driving off the bridge or crashing on purpose scare me to death?

Hello , everything starts with a thought so instead of thinking the bad think about the good your driving you out even that you might be scared you did it good job

I love watching your podcasts but your process is to get rid of the feelings and emotions. How do you work on the core- what caused the anxiety in the first place. Were not born with it after all

I think you misunderstood. It’s not trying to get rid of anxiety. Irregardless of why we have anxiety….understanding that our nervous systems is simply sensitized and our response will either exasperate the issue or allow it to dissipate.

@@wendydiaz8988how does one know that it’s the nervous system and not something else .. This what I struggle with

@@empatheticbeauty971you go get checked out by a doctor and have standard labs ran. Once anything physical is ruled out, you accept that it's anxiety. No more second guessing. guessing .

@@empatheticbeauty971best would be to get checked out by a doctor. It can sometimes be hormonal.
