I don’t think people give Ronnie NEARLY enough credit for singing songwriting and musical ability. He’s soooo fucking good at all of it. And I get there’s an army behind him but he just doesn’t miss.
The song is about his addiction with drugs. He is a vampire from the people he loves in his life, he's zombie to his own life, he's in denial, and he's dragging his loved ones down to hell with him. If he would have just admitted he was " a vampire" it wouldn't have caused the collateral damage to the people he loved. So in the song, his failure to admit resulted in actually being one. His songs mean so much to so many, but that's the reason behind the lyrics in this song.
One thing I like about these reimagined versions is that they aren’t remixes. They’re his own interpretations of these songs . They’re the same story , told by different authors. It’s so beautiful what he was able to do with last resort , especially because that was the first song he’s reimagined that wasn’t his own. He told the same story , just in a different way. He made the lyrics hit harder and more powerful then they already do. And this is no different. He’s retelling his own story . His own battle In two very different, but very beautiful, ways. He is easily one of the best musicians / creators that we’ve had in a very long time
The girl is Saraya Bevis ,Ronnie's girlfriend. She was a professional wrestler for the WWE under the name of Paige . In this when she is in the white and a ghost reliving her life with him. At the end where he is on the stake ,she realizes she doesn't want to live without him. Great Reaction!❤
also I only had 1 reactor see the real story of this video. The white version of Paige is looking back at her life with Ronnie and how he rescued her and all other colored Paige versions are from the past. And the scene in the end is not them burning in the same second, it is her remembering how he burned and she burned herself the same way.
This song always gives me goosebumps. Ronnie’s voice, as I’ve told you in other videos, blows my mind 🤯 His singing, screams, and rapping. A triple threat!!!
With blood being the Vampire’s addiction, he said this song is about his alcohol addiction. Much the same as the blood, ya know? Ruins lives around him. Each time he drinks, he buries another like a vampire takes a life. He just can’t quit it.
I am so glad you watched the original before you watched this one because I think you appreciate the revamped so much more when you’ve seen the original.
I don't agree. I feel the lyrics fit great. Maybe besides the pregnant lady part. Since this is all a metaphor for being an addict, it's perfect. Actually the whiskey is my holy water is one of my favorite lines (holy water being dangerous/deadly to a vampire as is Whiskey to an alcoholic). I'm astonished that you didn't recognize Saraya (formerly known as Paige), since she's British and pretty famous as a wrestler. She has been Ronnie's girlfriend for several years now.
I think the lyrics "feel like a lady who's pregnant with a baby cause I'm always throwing up" ... Pretty sure this describes the terrible withdrawal symptoms when trying to get clean from drugs.
The line where he sings ”Daddy shouldn't raise me on black sabbath” is a refere to ”black sabbath”. Ozzy Osbourne was the lead Singer in that band. React to ” black sabbath - paranoid ”. Sorry for my bad english😇🤷🏻♂️
I'm glad you did this one. It's such a dark, theatrical joyride, and you always manage to bring up insights I never would have considered. Self-reflection really is so important. Thank you for yet another thought-provoking reaction.
YES! Love you for doing these two!! I can't help get full body goosebumps and well up whenever I hear this!! I just love the evolution of our Ronathon, both aesthetically and artistically - from little emo to off the charts, versatile musical power house!! The growth of his artistry seems to correlate with his growth as a human too, which is lovely! Also, Hi Teddy's hair! Haven't seen you before!
One of my favorites common observation in all the reactions videos: everyone is silent and becomes completely frozen, minus their eyes widening, during the climax of the piece. Every single person. That part of the piece seems to drop everyone’s walls temporarily and go straight to their soul. 🥹😍❤️
i love how ronnie was able to create songs which so accuratly describe what addiction is like through the use of sexual references to make it relatable to all.
Thank you for reacting to thiiiss I feel happy ^^ Seeing how immersed you were at some parts I loved it, it does it to me all the time even without the video. All three reimagined songs of Falling in Reverse to be honnest. So satisfying and emotional to sing...
omg I remember that video, I love iiiit, that man is so weird and unhinged but so skilled, I love it. I love some of his music, and he's definitely a full-blood artist.
The fact you have to spend this much time analyzing his music, to me, shows how good he is. If he thinks that deeply into creating his metaphors, in music and video, it’s real art. You don’t see that very often. It’s old school in a lot of ways. People today cannot create and use metaphors and euphemisms to create the journey that Ronnie does. They have to come out and say it directly.
Ronnie agrees with you on some of the lyrics. He have stated that he wished he wrote some of the lines differently then because he felt an obligation to the fans to stay true to the originals (though some added in this one) Both these 2 were btw Covid gifts to long time fans. He also made a free, meaning RUclips only, Mixtape back in 2014 I believe as a Xmas gift. That however is crazy. Ronnie and friends going totally mental (especially lyric wise) He does not appreciate his early rapping in other words. Alone being his most cringe song ever he said
I just noticed that the piano at the start is a faster version of Moonlight sonata, correct me if I am wrong in this, but the start does hint me to the start of Moonlight Sonata.
The original song was talking about him being a drug addict and using vampire as an analogy and the reimagined is making it that he is a vampire and still the mainstream society wants to destroy him and his love relationship
The parallels drawn between vampirism and Ronnie's former heroin addiction is a little bit unnerving, tbh. Reverting to an almost animal state when he is high...."So I sharpen my teeth, because i love the way it feels when I sink into your skin and draw the only thing thats real. You dont believe in me? Should I write it in blood?" That references the needle and how torn he is between the guilt and shame of using and the "bloodlust" or the craving caused by his addiction. Even the line about "always throwing up" fits, because thats what "good" herion does when you shoot up, you instantly puke.
As i wrote in one of previous FIR reactions, i really enjoy to watch your films. First, You have amazing things to say from your analysis, and second, i'm also discovering this band myself! Cheers Teddy! Greetings from Poland!
This song... im a french canadian, so my children werent the best in english when they were young. But my 5 yo daughter when she heard this in the car, asked me to shut it off. I asked her why, and when i turned around, she had tear rolling down her face. She said i dont know, but this song is really sad in my heart!.?!? A- i was surprised by how in touch she is with her emotions, But B- how once again i feel what music can do to you on a deeper level But the battle with addiction.. when i used to consume, i was always living at night. Going out, and i hated the next day, being hung over, in relaps, and whtvi saw was revolting. At night, i was alive again. But, i felt like a vampire.... people judging, staying away etc... Anyways, great song
Love this song and video, it speaks to me in so many ways being an goth skater punk metalhead Juggalo outcast who grew up in the late nineties and early 2009’s and I was the picture of the bad kid
What I have always wondered that nobody else seems to notice...is there a connection between The Drug In Me Reimagined and Revamped? When he is sitting at the piano in this video as a vampire...I noticed in one cut from Reimagined that he is at the piano - the eerie sound with the strings is similar - and you can see fangs when he opens his mouth wide...like a vampire. And the scream at the end that tears out your soul. Hmmm. So curious about that!
If he changed the lyrics it would defeat the purpose of reimagining the song. Also he added a verse in it that wasn't part of the original song so it fit his visual narrative
If you haven't already, you should check out the band Parkway Drive (aussie metal band) . The song Karma would be a pretty good place to start with them. It's one of their earlier ones but it's really good song and a pretty unique video for the genre
I feel the same about his lyrics feeling out of place sometimes in his remakes. I also agree his remakes are way better. Especially this one. I absolutely love this version, and completely loathe the original. 😂
Can't change the lyrics, it's about addiction even if they made the visuals more obvious; also, he didn't lie, he lies to himself. That's why he admits it at the end.
The beautiful lady in the video is his girlfriend Paige and she's a female wrestler I think I can't remember her name that she uses for wrestling, that probably why you thought she was familiar :)
Mothers 6:16 r lock your Doors, and hide your daughters. I think this girls shows you why they should l. Because ronnie is an vampire and knows what is gonna happen to her.
New subscriber here. Enjoying your reactions. You should do Zombified by Falling in Reverse. Also have you done any reactions by Tom MacDonald? I heard you mention him in one of your other reactions. Really enjoy the passion you have for music.
Brian was a big one for me in the early days, his laugh was goated 😂 But for me, it’s Heihachi. I don’t care what volcano Kazuya threw him in, he lives on within my control pad 😂
Not going to be a most recommend Artist choice and it's a way different vibe than what you've viewed so far. Check out Aurora, then song of choice I'm not sure which one to pick maybe the most viewed.
I'd argue that the lyrics fit perfectly well here. "Mothers better lock your doors and hide your daughters" is SUCH a vampire thing to say lol.
Fact
That’s Ronnie’s gf Saraya, who’s British. She also a wrestler for AEW. She used to wrestle for WWE under the name Paige.
Was looking for this comment so I could add a like :)
She also has "leaked" tapes where she does charitywork and cooks
Just to be "overcorrect" she's his fiance 😉
@@pekagi-ehem.tivraction2894 Fiance?? Did I miss something? I haven't watched the streams in a very long time!
....wait paige is with ronnie?! Omg that's awesome well done ronnie 👏
I don’t think people give Ronnie NEARLY enough credit for singing songwriting and musical ability. He’s soooo fucking good at all of it. And I get there’s an army behind him but he just doesn’t miss.
He is the story writer as well
Jensen Noen, the director, won six film awards with this one.
The song is about his addiction with drugs. He is a vampire from the people he loves in his life, he's zombie to his own life, he's in denial, and he's dragging his loved ones down to hell with him.

He Like's to stay true to his songs for his fans he said he don't like changing the words to stay true to u the original ❤
I don't know what it is exactly, but your expression when listening to these reimagined versions just GET ME. EVERY TIME!! 🥹🥺🥹🥺
She still wrestles under her real name Saraya on All Elite Wrestling (AEW). :)

I was gonna say Black Sabath/ Ozzie is a whole other rabbit whole to explore.

Radke has one daughter from his relationship with model Crissy Henderson. She's 11 now and her name is Willow Grace Radke.
Night shift worker here for 12 years. 5x 12-14 hour shifts a week is killer 🖤
I feel like I’ve been waiting so long for this!! Masterpiece 🖤
Me watching this after my night shift in the ER 🫣
One of my favorites common observation in all the reactions videos: everyone is silent and becomes completely frozen, minus their eyes widening, during the climax of the piece. Every single person. That part of the piece seems to drop everyone’s walls temporarily and go straight to their soul. 🥹😍❤️
This director has done the last 7 of their videos! Fucking genius!! ❤❤❤
SHE IS HIS LADY IN REAL LIFE, SHE IS AN EX WWF FEMALE WRESTLER known as PAIGE
The movie you were describing sounds like DRACULA 2000
i love how ronnie was able to create songs which so accuratly describe what addiction is like through the use of sexual references to make it relatable to all.

5:30 "And Father better lock me in and hide your loved ones" Could be a nice switch up to the lyrics
Love your reaction videos to my favorite band. Keep being awesome!
You my good sir. Is in a different mood than your other reactiona to falling in reverse :)
Subscribed for more Falling In Reverse!! 😊
I always have goosebumps when the anger comes out at the end (sorry for my english i'm french)
He just reimagined the Papa Roach song Last Resort too
He already did that! 😊
Ronnie agrees with you on some of the lyrics. This was a very good reaction video. You made some solid observations at the end, greetings from Iceland
Thank you for reacting to this 😁 love your reactions as always
You're crazy.. The lyrics are perfect!
and the literal meaning of revamped or reimagined is doing the same song in a different way.
Gansta paradise falling in reverse
They are one of my favorite bands. I love watching your videos, your reactions are great!
Yessss finally... been looking forward to this.
12 hour overnights and 24/7 on call. I agree 👍 kudos to those who are a vampire
So amazing that he wrote this in prison about addiction. Genius.
Love ya bro perfect reception and interpretation of Ronnie, I work the graveyard shift..THANK YOU
This song... im a french canadian, so my children werent the best in english when they were young. But my 5 yo daughter when she heard this in the car, asked me to shut it off.
I asked her why, and when i turned around, she had tear rolling down her face.
She said i dont know, but this song is really sad in my heart!.?!?
A- i was surprised by how in touch she is with her emotions,
But
B- how once again i feel what music can do to you on a deeper level
But the battle with addiction.. when i used to consume, i was always living at night. Going out, and i hated the next day, being hung over, in relaps, and whtvi saw was revolting. At night, i was alive again. But, i felt like a vampire.... people judging, staying away etc...
Anyways, great song
I agree that the lyrics do sometimes not really fit but they were made for a completely different song. Somehow it still works :)
most captivating song of the year
Yes. Yes. Yes. Been waiting for this.
Love this song and video, it speaks to me in so many ways being an goth skater punk metalhead Juggalo outcast who grew up in the late nineties and early 2009’s and I was the picture of the bad kid

I would lean to both songs being about addiction, and he's a vampire in both.
grea analogy ty for your sight on it
"It looks right on him..." It's the black. Like his soul. lol
Black Sabbath - the legendary band with lead vocalist Ozzy Osborne. Perhaps saying there was a bad influence there on him? Encouraging his addictions?
I've been waiting for you to do a reaction to this!!!! So happy you did. I love your videos
Loved the goosebump dance 🤣
Yes this song and video fits perfectly with the movie The Lost Boys, that movie is a vampiric take on the Peter Pan tale
Saraya is stunning. 💕
If he changed the lyrics it would defeat the purpose of reimagining the song. Also he added a verse in it that wasn't part of the original song so it fit his visual narrative
Another good band to check out would be a day to remember nothing like falling in reverse really but a good band
If you haven't already, you should check out the band Parkway Drive (aussie metal band) . The song Karma would be a pretty good place to start with them. It's one of their earlier ones but it's really good song and a pretty unique video for the genre
Definitely thinking about Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Waiting for this for soooooo loooong!!
I feel the same about his lyrics feeling out of place sometimes in his remakes. I also agree his remakes are way better. Especially this one. I absolutely love this version, and completely loathe the original. 😂

Who ever said that those of us that work the night shift sleep?
Please do champions by falling in reverse!! A very under appreciated song by them!
Teddy, Ronnie have a mixtape you really need check out.. search for Ronnie Radke - Blacklist that’s your kind of music and you’ll really appreciate it
I loved Saraya since before she came to WWE because I was always into underground wrestling and when she came to NXT and WWE I was drooling 😻🤤🤤😈😈🤤🤤😻
Hey dude just found your channel. You are fuckin awesome. 🤙
Yes!! 🔥🔥
AHAHAHA Liked the goosebumps imitation 😂
Holy shit, this was so good!!
The movie you are talking about sounds like Dracula 2000
That or Bram stokers Dracula, he was giving Wanoya rider the dreams , and she was seduced by him the minute she saw him
The beautiful lady in the video is his girlfriend Paige and she's a female wrestler I think I can't remember her name that she uses for wrestling, that probably why you thought she was familiar :)
Her name is Saraya her wrestling name was Paige
Did u also react to "the drug in me is you reimagined?"
Night lifer for 20 years now
If you’d like a lighter/funny side to FIR check out Right Now and Game Over! ❤
Thank you bro some love for the night shift lol ❤❤❤ and could you react to the used... any song honestly if you're able

Not going to be a most recommend Artist choice and it's a way different vibe than what you've viewed so far. Check out Aurora, then song of choice I'm not sure which one to pick maybe the most viewed.
Like everyone has said, that is Ronathan's gf... he gets to hit that err'night 😔
Shes his wife now
No she isn't still his girlfriend
The all song is the same lyrics
I disagree..I think the words fit very well..js
It takes you way too long to catch on to some things. 🤷♀️
You're thought process is just different too. 🙄
*Your.
I’ll take your opinion on board when you learn to speak English thanks.
I can't stand the originals, hurt my brain. More metal is always better
