I’ve been impressed with it too except for how the phone holder clip. My iPhone 6 is not held securely enough. I think I’ll add a rubber band to secure it. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
@@paulstarrish6154 It's about 10 minutes fly time per charge, but note that the instruction say to allow the battery to cool between charges. The controller doesn't require a recharge for each flight, but I don't have an idea yet on how often the controller needs recharged. I've recharged it only one time since the original charging. At that time it didn't need it, I just did it after I had flown the drone, realizing that I had never recharged the control unit. Hope that is clear? Thanks for watching!
Watched all episodes on the drone. Exactly what I needed. This is my 1st drone and you have made learning so easy. Simrex should post a link to your video in the instructions. Thanks for taking the time 👍
@scott-si1oe I’m very glad to hear that you are successful in operating your drone. Recently some have reported not being able to use their phone to operate it. I agree, for around $40 it’s a great starter drone. And one of my most watched video series! I agree regarding the company linking, but I’ll just keep going as is. Thanks for watching and the positive feedback 😁👍👍
True! It’s my first drone too. Overall I’m happy with it. But it’s a beginners drone and well worth the price. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
BoilerDan1 your welcome and wow your first drone. I started with a breeze 4k... very similar to this drone and then finally went for the mavic Mini for my hikes and wow it was a brilliant step up. I really recommend you look in to this drone😊👍check my videos and you can see what can be achieved from such a budget drone
I’ve been trying to fly outside. So far I’ve failed. It few away and I lost control! Fortunately when it gets out of range it does land safely. Just have to find it 😂 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
Sorry to hear that.... I started indoors and very slowly. Hope you can get it fixed and try again! Be sure to put propellers in the correct location or it won’t fly. I made 6 videos on the drone covering several different parts. Thanks for watching, wish you luck with your drone.
Thanks, I really appreciate your feedback and observations of what the intent of my videos are. I try to just post my adventure using something that I’ve purchased. Kind of to give me purpose in retirement! 👍
Love it, my wife bought me a large drone a 18 months ago, only a cheap one more a toy but I can’t take it out in wind which isn’t great in the U.K. I’m a Street Photographer also some landscape but the camera on mine doesn’t move unless by hand and it doesn’t connect to a phone so basically a toy but I’ll still give it a go just to get some practice flying.
I’ve yet to successfully fly it outdoors. Trying to use the phone was too difficult for my brain to handle 😂. I’m going to try activating the camera then fly from the remote control and not look at the video until I safely land again. Because it’s small, if I looked at the screen, I couldn’t look back at the drone and find it in the sky.... I’ll keep trying 👍. Thanks for watching.
BoilerDan1 I’m interested in SIMREX X11. I saw your this video finding that your interpretation is great. It would very appreciate it if you could take a similar video for SIMREX X11. I recommended your channel to SIMREX, they’re so grateful for your effort, and they just launch a program for testing new product. Would you have a try? They gave me the link for you: forms.gle/CvV3yY13SsGAzsHR9 Really hope you could have more useful videos.
I’m not sure what’s wrong but everytime I push the fly button it struggles to get of the ground and just lifts up one one side, I have tried the new propellers but just once doesn’t go up the way. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
I'll cover several issues here: 1. The blades must be in a certain order as follows: My drone has the following set up with the blades: As sitting in the driver’s seat of a car with the drone’s camera as the front of the car. They are in the following order: White Blade marked 1 A is front left White Blade marked 2 B is front right Black Blade marked 1 B is rear left Black Blade marked 1 A is rear right I have no idea why only one of the blades is 2 B? 2. Properly pair the drone to the controller. A. Turn on the drone and set it on a flat surface. B. Turn on the remote control. C. On the remote left side pad the far left center tab/button, Press and hold it down for several seconds (probably about 5 seconds) The button has two symbols on it, One looks like two circles intertwined the other symbol is a circle that resembles a speedometer. Once that is done, turn off both the drone and the remote. Wait about 10 seconds, then proceed: 1. Turn on the drone and set on a flat surface. 2. Turn on the remote, you will hear two beeps. The drone and the remote are now calibrated and it is ready to fly. 3. Above the left pad, tap one time the Start button with the up arrow one time. The drone propellers should turn but it will stay on the ground. 4. Slide the left pad upward to lift off the ground. The more you slide the left pad upward, the higher the drone will go. If it drifts to one side, the arrows on the right side of the controller will adjust that, but just push them one time, then let go. If more correction is need push it again. Work back and forth until it is stable. ** Do the same thing with the up and down arrows on the left side of the controller for forward or backward and continue tweaking it until it maintains its place. The round pads in the center control movement, and they slide all directions. The left pad controls up and down and will spin the drone around. The right pad controls forward, back, left and right. Watch all of my videos for more details I hope that helps! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching! I’ll let you know that I am in the process of making a new series on my second drone! I still have the mini and enjoy flying it! But I’m getting a little little bigger one! Still an entry level one that’s under $100. So far I’m very impressed, so keep watching for my first segment - COMING SOON 😁👍👍
I sent a request for information to SIMREX via Amazon. I’ll let you know when/if they respond. Sometimes there’s a delay in restocking them… so keep checking.
hola lindo video quisiera que continuen haciendo material de calidad... Voy a seguir mirando sus creaciones. Les mando un saludo nos estamos viendo ❤️👍🏽
I posted a list of things to check out. I’ll look it up later today and reply to you. But one question. Did you know that the propellers must be in a special order based on color? Look again at the video and make sure yours are on correctly. I will send a follow up with more info. Thanks for watching 👍
Might have to get one of those. I have a Mavic Pro which I've really enjoyed- for the price this would be pretty fun and appropriate for indoor use (in my opinion). Thanks for the instructive vid! Safe flying.
Hi do you know if you can get a carry case for this drone? I take with out with me one drone, spare set of rotor blades and guards. And 2 sometimes 3 batteries. Getting difficult to carry it all without a suitable case to put it all in.
@@BoilerDan1 Simrex x300c carry case question. Just to say I dug out an old zip up GoPro case. Can fit one drone, one remote control, and two batteries. All fits nicely 😀👍
Question:is tha camera mod able (by putting in new camera) and what's the general range you can get with the controller Edit:also there aren't many vids on this so thank you for making a few tutorials
Tomorrow I hope to actually film the camera being used. You do have to pare it to a smart phone to see and record the image, the drone camera does not save the video nor photos within itself. That is done by downloading the app for the drone. (I'll show all of that in the video being made.) I was surprised with the quality of the video that was produced. As far as range with the controller, it should be about the length of a football field. As small as it is, from that far, you probably couldn't see it with your eyes! And figuring out where the drone is via the screen on you of your phone will take some practice. I'll be producing a video to show how to have the drone return to you by pushing a button... Just in case you do lose track of it by sight. Also, FCC regulations is the USA don't require any special licensing with a drone that is controlled within the sight of the operator. So this one is okay on that end with the approximate 100 yard range. (300 Feet or a little over 94 meters). So keep an eye out over the next week and I will post the video showing how to get the app needed, and the quality and operation of the onboard camera. Thanks for watching!
I need help for my drone. 2 propellers have been lost, one white and one black, and I don't know how the pattern of A and B is going. Could you help me please? It is my first drone.
Happy to help. Both white propellers go on the front (camera side) of the drone. Also if you look very closely at the propellers, one is marked A 1, the other B 2. On mine, A 1 is to the left of the drone (imagine it is a car and your sitting in the drivers seat, it would be that side of the drone) Then obviously, B 2 would be on the right or passenger side. Then on the rear (Battery compartment) side, Black propellers are with A 1 on the right side and B 1 is on the left side. I don't know if the A and B markings matter one way or another, but I do know that White must be on the front and black on the back. Also, I don't know why all of them are marked #1 except for B 2? Anyway, I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@OdeeOz "Out of the box problem solver" Me too, that's why I couldn't believe I didn't think of Velcro myself! Duh... Thanks for watching and taking the time to enlighten me!
I will try to help: Have you charged both the Drone battery and the CONTOLLER? You turn on the drone first it will have a blue light at the on/off button and red lights flashing at the back of the drone. Then turn on the control unit, you will hear two beeps and the flashing red lights on the back of the drone will stay on solid… No flashing. Other things to make sure are correct: 1. Make sure that the arms that the propellers go on are fully extended. They will click into place. 2. The propellers must go on in a certain way. Notice on mine The white are on the front (camera side), black are on the back (battery compartment side). Also make sure that the propellers have the longer tube-like part all on the bottom. If you have one or more upside down, it will throw everything off.... Once all that is done, go to step 3. 3. Turn on the drone and place it on a level surface (ie.. floor). There should be a red light at the rear by the battery compartment flashing and a solid blue light at the on/off switch. 4. Turn on the controller, it will beep as it links with the drone. Then when that is complete, the red light at the back of the drone will stop flashing and will stay on solid red. The blue light at the drone's on/off switch will also remain on solid blue. The remote will also show a little blue light and red light on it. 5. Controller calibration: Hold down the Gyro key, it’s on the left side center with what looks like an atomic symbol and also a round symbol that resembles a speedometer. After a few seconds, let it go and you should be ready to fly. 6. Push the "Start" button one time and let it go, the start button is on the left side at the top and is marked "Start" with a small arrow pointing up. * The drone should sit on the ground with the propellers spinning. Slide the left pad upward one short push and the drone should hover about 1 foot off the floor.

I’m guessing that the company didn’t make one? I can only suggest that you google search SIMREX x300c android app. Then try different ones to see if they work. Sorry I don’t specifically have an answer for you. Thanks for watching. If you succeed, you could post the information here for others to see.👍
Try going to your App Store (on your phone) Enter SIMREX on a search, then try any that are available, one should work. If that fails, try this one: apps.apple.com/us/app/rc-fpv-drone-remote-controller/id6447494520 Or search drone control.
I'll try to help. 1st (I'm assuming you didn't have any major crashes?) Let's try recalibrating the drone by resetting it. You do that by: 1. Turn on the drone and set it on a flat surface. 2. Turn on the remote control. 3. On the remote left side pad the far left center tab/button, Press and hold it down for several seconds (probably 5 to 10 seconds) The button has two symbols on it, One looks like two circles intertwined the other symbol is a circle that resembles a speedometer. Once that is done, it is ready to fly. 3. Above the left pad, tap one time the Start button with the up arrow one time. The drone propellers should turn but it will stay on the ground. 4. Had same issue, in the manual on page 2 is the “section 3” called propellers installation, make sure you have propellers on the right motors, it matters I guess.. each propeller is numbered as well.. hope this helps
Chris Hollingshead ; good advice, I kinda asked him if he had crashed as you are correct on the blades. But so far he asked for help but disappeared from the discussion? Thanks for taking the time to give your advice too, and Thanks for watching 👍👍
Yes you can charge it with the plug converter from your phone. Just disconnect the phone cord and plug in the drone cord. You also have to charge the remote control. But not every time you use it. It last quite a while. Thanks for watching 👍
Doubtful, but it’ll land safely once out of range. I’ve had it get away from me twice. I’ve determined that flight from the smartphone phone is not for me! I think I could hit record from my phone and then fly it from the remote control unit. That way I can keep a better eye on the drone itself. It’s little and when I looked down at my phone then back up... I couldn’t find the drone. The wind then took over until it was out of range. That distance was about 75 yards...... I’m planning on another video with successful outdoor flight 😂👍 Thanks for watching
@@BoilerDan1 Hey no thanks needed.....thank you for making content that is worthwhile watching and isn't accompanied by thrash metal playing in the background :)
I have one of these Simrex x300C drones but can't control it with the controller. I can't calibrate the drone with the controller. It won't center itself while hovering and flies off to the left. It doesn't respond well to the controls either. It worked a little bit better using the phone app. ]
Hmmm, I was able to adjust the drifting on mine with the controller. I struggle flying from the phone... I appreciate your feedback. It’s good for watchers to see comments from other owners. 👍
Hi, how high does it fly and once it goes out of range does it plummet to the ground like a stone. And what distance does it fly away from you before it plummets down to Earth please (if it indeed does plummet to Earth) thanks😁
You can fly it high probably until it loses the signal! I’ve not actually tried that though. You also run the risk of losing sight of it and the wind blowing it out of range. The manual says that the range is about the length of a football field (100 yards) however my experience is that it’s less than that. About 60 yards (about 180 feet). If or when you loose the signal it doesn’t drop like a rock, it will automatically go into safe landing mode and land gently. It does the same thing when the battery runs out. Thanks for watching 👍
Outdoor flight is tricky. You’ll need to put the speed on the highest level to control even in a light breeze. Start indoors on slow speed until you get the hang of it.
Thanks for sharing this video my friend, can I reuse your video for my content? My purpose is to more people see this kind of drone, pls reply and thank you in advance
I would recommend that you link my content so that I receive the credit for any additional views on my RUclips channel. That’s my preference if that works for you. Thanks 👍
how the hell do you charge the battery? not the right adapter only the one that charges the remote was included. battery is different square type connector
It’s the same charging cord. To chrge the battery in the drone, remove it from the back of the drone. I do show how to remove the battery in the video. the charging port is on the side of the battery and is round just like the remotes. i edited this post after looking at the vifeo. please confirm that you received this corrected version. thanks for watching.👍
@@BoilerDan1 yes thank you. The instruction booklet shows it going in the end of the battery thats where I was confused. Just recieved mine this morning £36 from amazon.
Another area where people get confused is calibration and flying in headless mode. I try to cover that in this video: ruclips.net/p/PLjMZtm2hvqrN06_j2pp6W-fZK6xr7gbY9 When you start, be sure to always set the drone on a flat surface...(see my other videos). Enjoy your new drone, it’s a lot of fun indoors!😉
It comes with one. You can get two more from Amazon. Here’s a link: SIMREX X300C Battery Part 2pcs www.amazon.com/dp/B07K82Y3MH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Q1N3EbGNWBC4F
Ha, ha. I did try it outside today not realizing that the building was blocking the wind until it was above the roof top and then!.... It’s a good thing I hit the safe landing button! Your pet would have been in for quite a ride! Thankfully it came down to a safe landing down the street a bit 😂
I’ve not been able to find any specific to the drone. You could search Amazon for mini drone blades and see a list. I saw black and white ones but don’t know if they would actually fit? I’d think eventually they would make them available?
BoilerDan1 ok great. the controller is beeping when I try to fly and according to the instructions (that I always read😌 )it means it needs charging and I’ve been flying for awhile on the same charge so sounds likely.
Sorry to hear your story. Outdoor flight takes practice and must set on highest speed and stay closer to ground until you have more experience. Hope it comes out of tree with no damage, then start indoors working on flying skills before going outside. It’s also not for long distance from you so stay close especially for beginners.
@@BoilerDan1 Thanks for your message. Mine was a bit unclear. I just received the Semirex today and I see his very unstable indoors, I tried to recaliber but it does not help. The drone I lost in a tree, was the Ryze Tello, a mini drone as well, lost it 2 years ago unfortunately. :/ However indoor, it was very stable compared to the Semirex. (but not the same price for sure)
Try this: 1. Turn on the drone. Set it on a flat surface (floor) Lights will flash. 2. Standing at the back of the drone, turn on the remote controller. - The remote and the drone will have lights on but no flashing lights. 3. On the remote left side pad the far left center tab/button, Press and hold it down for several seconds (probably 5 to 10 seconds) The button has two symbols on it, One looks like two circles intertwined the other symbol is a circle that resembles a speedometer. Now try to fly the drone. Let me know if that helps. Thanks for watching and replying. Best of luck with the Simrex X300C. I just purchased a little larger drone, A Snaptain SP650. I’ll check it out sometime in the future. This mini is my first, I just needed to put something on my Christmas list last year. It’s been fun but challenging due to a poor installation manual. That’s what prompted the video as well. I’d like to use a drone for filming future videos. Maybe your suggestion will be the one 👍 Thanks for watching!
@@BoilerDan1thanks mine must have a fault both batteries been charged over night won’t charge tried a diffent plug today just incase still won’t fully charge
@pward2482ify hmm, I was going to suggest a different charging adapter plug but it sounds like you did that already. I did zoom in some to show the drone up close. It is a small drone as you can wee when I open the box. If you are referring to the drones camera itself in a later video, it does have it zoomed in some, I'm guessing the manufacturer did that for a better video when flying at a distance. But I'm just guessing on that. Thanks for watching!
@@BoilerDan1 Yeah I meant the camera on the drone. Yeah that makes sense, I was trying to fly inside and film very close, so was getting close up shots of objects instead of the whole room
Ahh, yes that makes sense. And yes the camera on the drone is for outdoor use and is pre-set as zoomed in. Outdoor flight is a little difficult. Definitely switch to the higher speed or even a slight wind will carry it off course! 👍👍
No, you will need to charge both the drone battery and the controller. The drone comes with the charging cord. Takes about 1 hour to charge. Thanks for watching.
I accidentally landed it in kitchen sink. To avoid water damage i quickly used hair dryer and the damn plastic housing melted. I just need a new housing for the drone. Where can i buy parts for it? Or if someone has a non working drone can mssg me to send their drone. Thanks
SERIOUSLEY? You can get basic parts from Amazon, but the housing? I've not seen. You could try contacting Simrex themselves, but I'm guessing you could make something from some other plastic item like a milk carton? Be creative, maybe balsa wood? Or reheat the house and try to bend it back. I'm surprised it will run after the dip in the sink! Or buy another one and have all the spare parts you might need! I'd suggest you fly indoors as outdoors it really can get away from you. Maybe some other viewer will have a broken on that can help you out?
@@BoilerDan1 lol. I was learning back then. I tried reheating the plastic however everytime ibreheat it, it just shrinks. Yea remaking with other materials would be an option. However i would like to see if i can get my hands on the actual part.
Thanks for watching. I took it outside for it’s first flight.... I didn’t realize that the wind was being blocked by the building! Once I gained altitude above the roof I was blown off course 😂... fortunately I tapped the safe landing button and it came to rest in a safe area. It’s not really designed for windy days!😉

The gyro sucks. Mostly uncontrollable and disconnects frequently. In the box was a card saying if you give the company 5 stars on Amazon you could win a voucher. Awful practice and will be returning. As my first drone it's put me off.
Nice that you can return it. Although you should have been able to stabilize the flight through calibration and setting it up, sounds like returning for a refund is your best option. Thanks for watching and letting others know about your experience.
Yes, I will feature it in my next video. But will also be critical of the drone for outdoor flight. Even a slight breeze is difficult to fly in. The camera has some options that I’m still exploring. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi there.i watched your video and it’s great seeing what buttons to press.most are the same.but on my handset the calibration button is on the left.not on the right not to sure why.but all in all the best video yet.👍👍👍
I had made an error in the first video and you are correct, calibration is on the left. I tried to clarify that on the second video. I’ve figured out more too! It’ll automatically safely land if you fly beyond range... You just gotta find it 😂. The camera can be flipped to film upward and 3D video (not sure why on either of those). It’ll also do a barrel roll....So if I ever can master outdoor flight I will do another video covering those topics 😳 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
I’m going to guess that you put the propellers back on in the wrong order. See step 2 below 1. 6. Push the "Start" button one time and let it go, The start button is on the left side at the top and is marked "Start" with a small arrow pointing up. * The drone should hover about 1 foot off the floor.
No, it has a flight path you can supposedly set up from a smartphone type devise. It has a altitude hold, and a one key return mode. I've not been very successful flying it with/from my phone. I've made 5 videos to date on this drone, here is a link to the series. ruclips.net/p/PLjMZtm2hvqrN06_j2pp6W-fZK6xr7gbY9 Thanks for watching.

Sorry, hopefully you can return it for a refund or a new one. It’s really fun to fly! So don’t give up! I had someone ask me if it could pick up a pop can, so I’m going to give it a try along with showing the quality of the camera.... outdoor flight is a big challenge to say the least! Thanks again for watching and hope things work out well for you 👍
Here’s the answer to your question: SIMREX X300C DRONE Part 5 but you’ll have to watch the video to find out. Thanks for watching and giving me the test idea 👍
I paid $39.99 at Amazon, but I just checked and today they have a 10% off offer so it would be around $36. Here is a link for it on Amazon: SIMREX X300C Mini www.amazon.com/dp/B07WJGN6J3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RoI2EbQ0YXG43
I've been trying to do an update.... I lost my paper instruction booklet, but it turned up two days ago, so I will update soon. Regarding how to change the speed: On the left side the center left button is the one that adjust 3 different speed levels of the blades. If you look at it close, it has 2 symbols on it. The lower one looks similar to a speedometer, That's the one. Once the blades are turning, you short tap that button. With each tap you will circle through the 3 speeds. Also, I made an error in my first video: Calibration is done also with the left side center left button, but instead of taping it, you hold it down for a few seconds. Hope that helps! I'll try to update in the next few days as I've learned more about it. Thanks for watching.

Just picked one of these up last week. For $40 I've been loving it and the camera and phone connection has been surprisingly decent.
I’ve been impressed with it too except for how the phone holder clip. My iPhone 6 is not held securely enough. I think I’ll add a rubber band to secure it.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
Ian Kinney how long does the battery last?
Great video, thanks for posting! Helped me figure out calibration
This great to gets the kids into drones and learn basic flying skills and if they smash it up you’ve not lost a lot👍
Mine flew into a bush almost immediately. Thanks for making this video. I couldn't figure out how to calibrate the thing.
I’ve been trying to fly outside. So far I’ve failed. It few away and I lost control! Fortunately when it gets out of range it does land safely. Just have to find it 😂 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
Marshall Evans it’s the user not the drone lol🤫
Love your video. I'm watching all the upload on this drone. Thanks x
Actually, all thanks goes to you for watching!👍👍
Looks like alot of fun and i could not help but to buy it

I have been wanting this drone for a time for Christmas. if i get one thanks for teaching me how to fly it (BTW I an 12)
I’ve heard that the app for phones isn’t available. But you’ll have fun flying around with the controller too.
Merry Christmas
Thank you to. Merry Christmas to brother
I got it. marry Christmas
Have fun!
Watching this again because i've forgotten it all during covid!
Glad to have you watching a rerun😂👍
Broke first try now the back propellers don’t work. This video helped me the tiniest bit
Sorry to hear that.... I started indoors and very slowly. Hope you can get it fixed and try again! Be sure to put propellers in the correct location or it won’t fly. I made 6 videos on the drone covering several different parts. Thanks for watching, wish you luck with your drone.
👋😎👍 that's a cool little drone
It’s been a lot of fun! Still have it…. I should charge it up and buzz around the house between NFL Games 😂
Thanks for watching 👍👍
this mans needs to get popular so he can do the genuine reviews more
Thanks, I really appreciate your feedback and observations of what the intent of my videos are.
Amazing toy.
Yes, but outdoor flight is not working out to well. Part 4 in production 😩
Very cute!
Thank you! 😊
Hello, Boiler. Thank you so much for sharing such a great and useful video. It does help a lot!
Did you buy it from Amazon?
I received it as a gift, but yes it was purchased from Amazon.
They gave me the link for you: forms.gle/CvV3yY13SsGAzsHR9
Really hope you could have more useful videos.
That's pretty cool! It's like a mini DJI

I’m not sure what’s wrong but everytime I push the fly button it struggles to get of the ground and just lifts up one one side, I have tried the new propellers but just once doesn’t go up the way. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
I'll cover several issues here:
1. The blades must be in a certain order as follows:
My drone has the following set up with the blades:
As sitting in the driver’s seat of a car with the drone’s camera as the front of the car. They are in the following order:
White Blade marked 1 A is front left
White Blade marked 2 B is front right
Black Blade marked 1 B is rear left
Black Blade marked 1 A is rear right
I have no idea why only one of the blades is 2 B?
Wait about 10 seconds, then proceed:
Watch all of my videos for more details
I hope that helps!
Thanks for watching.
Good fly
Thanks for watching! I’ll let you know that I am in the process of making a new series on my second drone! I still have the mini and enjoy flying it! But I’m getting a little little bigger one! Still an entry level one that’s under $100. So far I’m very impressed, so keep watching for my first segment - COMING SOON 😁👍👍
It's like a bumble bee
Very accurate description 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
😍
Sadiq Bayya : Thanks for watching and the positive feedback!👍
Is there any other brand/style of replacement propeller that will work with this simrex x300c drone?
I sent a request for information to SIMREX via Amazon. I’ll let you know when/if they respond.
Sometimes there’s a delay in restocking them… so keep checking.
Thanks for watching! The world is getting smaller isn’t it 👍
How cute the new mavic air mini 2
I posted a list of things to check out. I’ll look it up later today and reply to you. But one question. Did you know that the propellers must be in a special order based on color? Look again at the video and make sure yours are on correctly. I will send a follow up with more info. Thanks for watching 👍
Might have to get one of those. I have a Mavic Pro which I've really enjoyed- for the price this would be pretty fun and appropriate for indoor use (in my opinion). Thanks for the instructive vid! Safe flying.
Agree, my next segment will state that indoors is best. I’ve tried outside flights twice and it got away from me both times 😂👍
From price Ka jai
Nice helpful video it looks very controllable without panicking which you get with early models but it does sound quite loud. #noisy
I think the camera picked up more noise than reality. It’s not loud. It’s easy to control with the remote.... not so much with a smartphone.
Enjoyed your demonstration 👍
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment on the video. 👍
@@BoilerDan1 My pleasure 🙂
Hi do you know if you can get a carry case for this drone? I take with out with me one drone, spare set of rotor blades and guards. And 2 sometimes 3 batteries. Getting difficult to carry it all without a suitable case to put it all in.
Sorry I don’t know about a case but you might search for one online through Amazon or eBay?
@@BoilerDan1 Hi I already have. No luck.😢
@@BoilerDan1 Simrex x300c carry case question. Just to say I dug out an old zip up GoPro case. Can fit one drone, one remote control, and two batteries. All fits nicely 😀👍
Thanks, this helps a lot
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. It's appreciated.
i love his breathing!
That’s what happens when you turn 68! I don’t like it! But at least I’m breathing 😂👍
Question:is tha camera mod able (by putting in new camera) and what's the general range you can get with the controller
Edit:also there aren't many vids on this so thank you for making a few tutorials
@@BoilerDan1 Thank you!!
A little Velcro on the controller and your phone will secure it fine for normal flight usage. Cool toy for sure
I can’t believe that I didn’t think of that 😂 Thanks! 👍
@@BoilerDan1 no worries. I've always been an _outside the box_ kind of problem solver ;)

I LOVE This drone
Lot's of fun on just a little bit of $$.
Thanks for watching.
Just got this, charged it all up and the drone won't start. the power button doesn't work! any help?
Hmmm, did you also charge the remote? (Just checking). I’ll send a follow up.... I’ll do that from computer instead of phone.
I will try to help:
Have you charged both the Drone battery and the CONTOLLER?
You turn on the drone first it will have a blue light at the on/off button and red lights flashing at the back of the drone. Then turn on the control unit, you will hear two beeps and the flashing red lights on the back of the drone will stay on solid… No flashing.
Other things to make sure are correct:
The dislikes are just people who bought drones and don't know how to control them and hate them
It’s ok, it gives them a place to vent their frustration 😂. Thanks for watching and keeping my spirits elevated 👍👍
It won't fly! 😭 I've tried arranging the propellers, full battery, calibrating. It just leans backwards. How do I fix?

If after that it's not working, I'd return it for another unit. Shouldn't be a problem through Amazon if that is where you purchased yours.
Do you know why my android
doesnt have the simrex zoomy app on it?
I’m guessing that the company didn’t make one? I can only suggest that you google search SIMREX x300c android app. Then try different ones to see if they work.
Sorry I don’t specifically have an answer for you.
Thanks for watching.
If you succeed, you could post the information here for others to see.👍
Anyone know the name of the app because when I scan the qr code it says the app isn’t available in my country (uk)
Try going to your App Store (on your phone)
Enter SIMREX on a search, then try any that are available, one should work.
If that fails, try this one:
apps.apple.com/us/app/rc-fpv-drone-remote-controller/id6447494520
Or search drone control.
I bought mine flew it a few times but IT wont fly now. The propelers work and everything but it just wont take off
I'll try to help. 1st (I'm assuming you didn't have any major crashes?) Let's try recalibrating the drone by resetting it. You do that by:
1. 4. Slide the left round pad upward to lift off the ground. The more you slide the left pad upward, the higher the drone will go. Let me know if resetting the Gyro Calibration fixes the problem.
Hi I’ve just got one of these it’s great! but what I’m not sure about is what charger do you use for the batteries.can you use a normal phone charger?
Yes you can charge it with the plug converter from your phone. Just disconnect the phone cord and plug in the drone cord. You also have to charge the remote control. But not every time you use it. It last quite a while. Thanks for watching 👍
My son lost the battery😢, which are the measures of the battery? And mh?
I was able to open the compartment:
XHN 951739
500mAh. 1.86Wh
3.7V. 20190824
Is what is written on the battery.
Hope that helps.
By the way. The calibration is done by holding down the far left button not the down arrow on the right 👍
Thanks, I'll get that corrected!
Thanks
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 😁
Do you think if the little antenna wire was replaced with something longer, you'd get more range?

Hmmm, I was able to adjust the drifting on mine with the controller. I struggle flying from the phone...
I appreciate your feedback. It’s good for watchers to see comments from other owners. 👍

Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your reply. Very helpful. Mine is arriving today. Hopefully will fly it over the Olympic Park soon.
Outdoor flight is tricky. You’ll need to put the speed on the highest level to control even in a light breeze. Start indoors on slow speed until you get the hang of it.
@@BoilerDan1 ok thanks!👍
Very helpful youtube! Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback, it’s nice to hear positive impact of for my efforts 😃.
Ótimo vídeo
muchas gracias 👍
I try to cover that in this video:
ruclips.net/p/PLjMZtm2hvqrN06_j2pp6W-fZK6xr7gbY9
When you start, be sure to always set the drone on a flat surface...(see my other videos). Enjoy your new drone, it’s a lot of fun indoors!😉
How many batteries do you get and can you buy spares please?
It comes with one. You can get two more from Amazon. Here’s a link: SIMREX X300C Battery Part 2pcs www.amazon.com/dp/B07K82Y3MH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Q1N3EbGNWBC4F
@@BoilerDan1 THANKS!😀
Will put my pet ant to fly on that
Ha, ha. I did try it outside today not realizing that the building was blocking the wind until it was above the roof top and then!.... It’s a good thing I hit the safe landing button! Your pet would have been in for quite a ride! Thankfully it came down to a safe landing down the street a bit 😂
How much flight time does the drone have
Around 8 minutes. Maximum of 10 on a good day.
Thanks for watching.
Hi. Do you have a link for spare propeller blades, please?
I’ve not been able to find any specific to the drone. You could search Amazon for mini drone blades and see a list. I saw black and white ones but don’t know if they would actually fit? I’d think eventually they would make them available?
Do you use the same charger for the drone, to charge the remote?
Yes, but the charger doesn’t need charged as often. Thanks for watching 👍
BoilerDan1 ok great. the controller is beeping when I try to fly and according to the instructions (that I always read😌 )it means it needs charging and I’ve been flying for awhile on the same charge so sounds likely.
I think you’ve got it 🧐!
It's not stable at all... I regret my Ryze Tello, lost high in an unrechable tree. :(
Sorry to hear your story.
Try this:
Normally in the $90 price but Amazon had special and it was less than $75.
I've started video on it too! Check it out sometime. Here is a link: ruclips.net/video/DujpqK95uIU/видео.html
Look into a Tello drone , quite amazing! For 100$
I’ll check it out sometime in the future. This mini is my first, I just needed to put something on my Christmas list last year. It’s been fun but challenging due to a poor installation manual. That’s what prompted the video as well. I’d like to use a drone for filming future videos. Maybe your suggestion will be the one 👍 Thanks for watching!

I’m thinking it takes about 20 minutes.

@pward2482ify hmm, I was going to suggest a different charging adapter plug but it sounds like you did that already.
You do have to complete specific steps to pair the drone to the controller prior to using the first time…. Not saying you didn’t, just checking 👍

The remote control unit also has to be charged. It doesn’t need charging every time but probably on the first time.

If you do get another drone I would recommend the le-idea 10
Ok
Wow
Thanks for watching.
Yaw=left,right, pitch= forwards, backwards, roll=left,right,
Yes, I'm a total novice at the verbiage and flight for that matter! 😂
Thanks for contributing to my education! 👍👍
is it me or the footage from the camera is super-zoomed in and at a tiny angle?
Have a question. Does the battery come charged ?
Maybe someone will see your request and help you out. Thanks again for watching, good luck on finding the part. Making one yourself might be fun too!😬
Has camera? Thanks.
Yes, it has a camera.
Thanks for watching 👍
take your case off much better fit but a cute little drone
Thanks for watching. I took it outside for it’s first flight.... I didn’t realize that the wind was being blocked by the building! Once I gained altitude above the roof I was blown off course 😂... fortunately I tapped the safe landing button and it came to rest in a safe area. It’s not really designed for windy days!😉

How do I set up the camera?
I’m on vacation for the next two weeks and don’t recall. I can respond better when I get back home.
Here’s a link to one of my videos that does cover the topic.
ruclips.net/video/dsVRx93fjjs/видео.htmlsi=7fkdWjaOmfHw7VEl
However, I have heard that the original app isn’t available. So you’ll need to download load a different app and keep trying until you find one that works. Again, I can provide better information in a couple of weeks after I get back from vacation.
Any suggestions on why it wont take off?
I'll try to help. 1st (I'm assuming you didn't have any major crashes?) Let's try recalibrating the drone by resetting it. You do that by:
1. 4. Slide the left round pad upward to lift off the ground. The more you slide the left pad upward, the higher the drone will go. Let me know if resetting the Gyro Calibration fixes the problem.
I just thought of something else! Did you charge the remote control unit? That could also be the issue?
Did you get your drone to work yet?
Thanks there are not a lot of videos on this
You're welcome. At some point, I'll post additional features such as hooking the camera up through a cell phone. I'll need some good weather and some practice as it's a little difficult to film and fly!
Thanks for watching.
Love the videos would love a video on how get the drone to go up mine won't life the back end by the battery very confused
Unfortunately I’m on vacation but when I get home I will post some things for you to try. I’ve kept some instructions on my home computer. I’m planning on another video, but not sure when I can get it done. I will mention one thing. The propeller blades have a specific order on the drone. Did the drone come with the blades on or off? You might be able to see the correct order on my earlier video. Again, I’ll post more things early next week once I’m home.
Thanks for watching 👍
SORRY FOR THE DELAY IN RESPONDING:
I will try to help: (Some may not be relevant to you until step 5)
Have you charged both the drone batter and the CONTOLLER?
You turn on the drone first it will have a blue light at the on/off button and red lights flashing at the back of the drone. Then turn on the control unit, you will hear two beeps and the flashing red lights on the back of the drone will stay on solid… No flashing.
Other things to make sure are correct:
5. Controller calibration:
To properly pair the drone to the controller. 1. Once that is done, turn off both the drone and the remote. Wait about 10 seconds, then: 1. Watch all of my videos for more details
Let me know if you get it going! 😃👍

What about the accelerator motor function ? I thought you could use the remote and twist it around to fly ?
Yes you can. I'm in the process of making a follow-up video to show how to do it. Keep watching for it... Maybe by tomorrow!

Is there camera in the drone
Yes, I will feature it in my next video. But will also be critical of the drone for outdoor flight. Even a slight breeze is difficult to fly in. The camera has some options that I’m still exploring. Thanks for watching 👍
Where can you get the charger
Amazon: SIMREX X300C USB Charger www.amazon.com/dp/B07L96K6ZB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_55K294E8RKX4WRY301S8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
If you find the drone on Amazon then click the Visit the SIMREX store then click MORE. Next look for the “drone parts” and you’ll find everything.
My drone won't take of anymore just just tilting I changed propellers after a little crash as two came of
I’m going to guess that you put the propellers back on in the wrong order. See step 2 below 1.

The blue light at the drone's on/off switch will also remain on solid blue. The remote will also show a little blue light and red light on it.
5. Controller calibration: Hold down the Gyro key, it’s on the left side center with what looks like an atomic symbol and also a round symbol that resembles a speedometer.
6. Push the "Start" button one time and let it go, The start button is on the left side at the top and is marked "Start" with a small arrow pointing up.
* The drone should hover about 1 foot off the floor.
Does it have a follow me mode
No, it has a flight path you can supposedly set up from a smartphone type devise. It has a altitude hold, and a one key return mode. I've not been very successful flying it with/from my phone. I've made 5 videos to date on this drone, here is a link to the series.

Just got mine, how do i change the speed from the controller ?
