If things haven’t changed those 85gr noslers are varmint projectiles. Idk that when I first started loading and they didn’t work well at all on whitetail. Just not enough penetration to get the job done. That was our experience. I believe it’s probably going to tighten up with the right loads. The suggestion from the previous comment of magnum primers and h4350 is probably good advice. Thx for the video 👍😊
I use to use reloader 19 in a browning bar semi…..with 100gr barns tsx or the ttsx…and I had different point of impact at different times of year …I switched to the new imr powders…I’m using less powder and getting more speed and no change in poi ….im using imr 4451 and with 100 gr bullet I’m getting 3050 + or - any large rifle primer and any brass …and I’m printing just under 3/4’ group and 100 meters…..I use my 2506 for coyotes ..deer and as a back up moose gun….. Have fun on the journey of reloading…. Cheers from Canada
I am using IMR4350, CCI Br2, sst 117 gr hornady bullet, with vanguard 2506, my group is 1" with 41gr load,,,,, but I would like to improve, do you have a suggestion load?
1st thing i would do is glass bed your stock . your groupings are something you see with a ction bouncing around in your stock . itll bring these groups together less than half . also try some h 4831 . it was the best in my 2506 . grouped unreal . happy shootin !!
Yeah I agree bedding it will improve the accuracy. Main reason for doing this is to see what a budget hunting rifle is capable of without doing a bunch of modifications. Down the road for sure I agree with glass bedding. Thanks for the comment. And will try that powder out down the road!
Seeing the picture of the 4350 makes me cringe you see what IMR went up to I mean dayum...I'm getting horizontal spread with RL 23 in my 7 PRC gonna try .10, 20 an 30 off see what it does thought about loading some kissing the lands while im out an about time consuming for sure
Good thing I know round here it's 70 an that's what it's listed online. I think I'm gonna have to start spending the cheddar for 8 pounders lol. You gonna try any other bullets or you settled on those?

Afternoon!!👍😃
Hey AR!
Now you know why I haven't gone with IMR4350 in my testing. A little slower and not as accurate as would be expected. Good luck and stay safe!!! 😉😉😉
It’s pretty dang accurate with the 85gr. Thanks for watching. Working on loads with different power now. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Certainly nothing terrible. Some loads are promising. Liking the RL15 for velocity and decent SDs. Groups more than acceptable.
👍
I’ve tried 5 shot groups in my savage axis many time never had much luck just stuck with 3 shot groups because of the sporter barrel
Yeah I wait between shots. But 5 shoots have grouped well with the 100gr BT video

Yep 60 plus a pound. Thank goodness I got a good stock of it.
