I went to college with Omari and he is a genuinely a nice person.

I’m Australian and loved the series Ghost, and I didn’t like how the series ended! I thought Omari was a brilliant actor and his part was the whole series. Very disappointed the series didn’t move forward with him.
I have followed the "Power Universe" from the First and Original and the Other Chapters of this story. The others are Good; However the first is the best.
All Omari did was answer the question and it did end kind of bad. 50 is not someone you want as a friend. He's the type to fall out with you and then tell your business.

I heard a Dr. today talk about unhealed people and how they respond to others. What is heard compared to what is said. That's 50.....unhealed and whatever he hears is an attack on him, even when that's not what was said. I was perfectly fine with Ghost's ending. I see from this comment section that I'm not alone. IMO, the original Power was ridiculous because of the writing. Raising Kanan is pretty solid. I pay for Starz for one month after the season is over so that I can binge it. I'm not going to pay several months to watch it.

@rustylee7940 I have done that for the last 2 seasons and saved money. And both times I unsubscribed, Starz offered me a MUCH lower rate to stay. If I remember correctly, they went down to $1 or $2 per month.

If you're not with 50 you are against him. He's a typical cry baby. I never watch none of his series. When he disrespected his actress Naturi about her hairline. It sealed the deal for me.

Empire & Power were two distinctly different shows that should never be compared . The music, set design, fashion and celebrity presence on Empire was unmatched. The acting and storytelling on Power was brilliant and addictive.

Hello Kempire! I’m new and always watch and listen so first time responding 😊 I agree with the fans and Omari as well! Power didn’t end right. He should have lived and as much as I loved Empire, that series didn’t come close to Power. I always hoped and still do that 50 Cent would find a way to bring Omari back to the cast.
And as for Shannon RIP…it’s crazy because she was heavy on my mind this month and I didn’t even know her personally it’s just something was telling me she’s been too quiet. My favorite memories of her was on 90210 😔 also RIP TO DR. Ruth our sex therapist and Richard Simmons our fitness coach, I remember them both from my childhood as well. ❤ 🕊️ 🙏🏽 Sorry so long!! 💋
The crazy thing is, I’ve met 50 in person and he is the most genuine and nice person. I kid you not it’s night and day from what you get online. Omari on the other hand, the biggest jerk that ever lived. We were at a Tyler Perry movie premiere and he was so mean and unapproachable. I didn’t go to him but I saw others attempt to and he damn near wanted to fight them. 50 on the other hand, he couldn’t have been more nice in comparison to what he gives online. I simply concluded that the role 50 plays online is simply that… just a character. I mean he is a cancer at the end of the day. 🤷🏽♀️

I believe that Starz may not have prioritized “Power” the way they should have but who else was going to pay him $150k per episode? He also leaves out how difficult he and his wife were.
“Power” was good but it wasn’t “The Sopranos” hell it wasn’t even “Snowfall” a far more superior show. James Gandolfini had HBO eating out of his hands because he was iconic but he was also a lovely man. Nobody ever has anything nice to say about Omari.

The original power is deniably the best. However, PowerBook 2 and Force are pretty good too. I am more of a fan of Force because I love Tommy, but the evolution of Tariq the menace is proof that you become what you learn and know.😂
50 Cent needs hardcore therapy to heal the trauma that makes him go after people for the littlest thing. He does well for others but also hurts them too. It's hard to maintain balance or any healthy relationship with a person like 50. He is too sensitive and broken but brilliant and knows how to maneuver in the rooms he enters. Cancers are good people but scorned cancer can be your worst nightmare.

Good luck, you have to be strong and know that it's not you, but it's them. I've been down that road with someone similar, too, but I learned it was best to keep it simple and be friends. The switch-up had me questioning myself, but then again, he was very supportive and wise, which I was attracted to. However, switching up and living to get revenge was taking up too much of my good energy.

Omari said nothing wrong. He was talking the vision of the show didn’t turn out the way it was told to him. This goes for any show that doesn’t end right. I know I was pissed off the Season 8 game of thrones ended because the way the story progressed didn’t match the ending. I feel like 50 cent is just too sensitive to the world television.

I think Omari had become difficult to work with. There were rumors his wife/manager was overstepping her boundaries and trying to direct on the set and tell the writers how to develope Ghost character. I think she was feeding Omari's ego at the same time. Also during the time he was being under paid. Omari began to openly critic Courtney Kemp and the writers. Courtney said Ghost was a character based on her father. Adding all those things together I believe is what changed Ghost's future on the show. I remember him quiting because of the pay and not liking the direction of his character. He wouldn't even come back to read the letter to Tariq. Omari also around that time went off on some fans who wanted to get autographs and take a photo with him. He scolded them for not acknowledging his wife. Which then sparked a online conversation about his androgenous wife and Omari began to defend her. Omari turned down Girls Trip because he looked down on the film and later regretted it because the movie did numbers. Omari was on an ego trip and I remember it all.

While in Toronto a friend had seen him, he was rude and didn't want to be associated with the character Ghost. He's a jerk IMO.

It doesn't matter what Omari envisioned about the evolvement and longevity of his character Ghost. He is the actor not the writer of the show. Once the creators decide the character is ending that is it. Omari is not a novice. He's been acting long enough to understand this. Audition for another role, book it, and keep it moving like we all do in the acting arena.

Hey! Thanks for your commentary. Regarding Power, you should definitely check out Raising Kanan & Tommy’s show Power Force. Both are great. Now the Power Book II was promising but I think the story line is a stretch.
The thing about 50 is he is very loyal to his friends and people that are loyal to him. However, if you ever do anything to him, then it's like you have beef forever. So with the Diddy situation, the issue with the baby mothers all started with 50 feeling like someone did something to him. Floyd and Fat Joe are the only two that he has publically squashed beef with.
I personally didn't and couldn't accept the way the show proceeded with the death of Ghost. Didn't make sense, so I left that show from that point on. It became very unrealistic, in my opinion.
