MJB receiving $400K per episode was not based on her acting ability or lack there of, Those who bought 30 million albums MJB recorded will now tune in and watch her on this popular series...which will send their ratings and views through the roof. Not everyone appreciates talent..they are just fans and they like what and who they like. And out of that $400k, $30k a month goes to her ex for spousal support. On top of having a staff, taxes and other incidentals, she doesn't walk away with a whole $400k. Its not what they gave her, it's what she and her people negotiated. Omari wants $1M, but prior to that, what kind of catalog does he have prior to Power. Tommy is incredible, I am sure he's not coming out complaining about his compensation and he's the most intricate character who has been on all of the Power Books, with the exception of Raising Kanan. I think all of this is a 50 Cent masterclass in marketing. My best to all parties involved.

I loved Omari in the Ghost character. He may have been Ghost however he was NOT Power. There have been multiple successful spinoffs since they killed Omar's character off. There are other characters who are just as good and charismatic as Omari was at playing Ghost. Example, I really love to watch Patina Miller in the Raq role.

Reasons for Ghost being alive 1. When Tariq hid the gun in Truth, you can see the first time he went the gun was fully blacked out but when he went to retrieve it you can see on the slide the chamber was silver. Ghost done regular routine checks around his club, it’s not crazy to think he found it. 2. Whenever a character is killed on the official instagram page they post a tribute to the character. They done it for characters like Ramirez & Jabari but not Ghost. 3. The ambulance leaving shortly after the shooting. Tariq had just left so there was no way an ambulance could’ve been called that quickly and we all know Tommy wouldn’t alert the authorities for anything. 4. His body was never shown. No open casket nothing. In addition to that, just before Tariq shot Ghost as Ghost told him he loved him and Tasha came bursting in, Ghost face (in my opinion) was just screaming “Do it, do it mf” A man like Ghost who was the smartest in the show, who completely dominated his profession you can’t tell me he couldn’t see his wife & son were the true obstacle of him leaving the game. Ghost would always try to wriggle out of a problem. Which is another reason I find weird he never moved or tried to disarm tariq. Almost as if he wanted him to shoot
The camera angle of Tariq hiding the gun and retrieving it was important. Why would they bother with a shot of him hiding and retrieving the gun? I feel like it was done on purpose.

100% I think we've seen how Sascha Penn likes to take his time and create the perfect story. Develop the characters in the right way in Raising Kanan and I'm expecting no different in Origins. Tommy will deffo be vulnerable at first and I'm looking forward to seeing that side of him too

Raising kanan quality? He killed someone early in season 1 and there was no real lead up for that level of violence. But say I believe it, right after there was no type of emotion about it after. Meaning they showed us nothing from how he perceived the incident or how the family taught him to to deal with it. They just moved over it. Now one can say that’s why he’s how it is cause they didn’t talk about it, but that’s a cop out. It’s a show we are watching
Since origins is about both James and Tommy than Tommy needs to voiceover too. Also Kanan knew Breeze first so Breeze needs to appear in Raising Kanan first.

Would’ve been cool for Tariq to see Ghost & Kanan like Monet saw Lorenzo & Mecca. Both faced a bit of an “ego death” in these vulnerable moments, and even though they made decisions that will keep them down the same path (and miss out on the baby) it makes for an opportunity to really understand the characters’ motives and connect them

The only issue I had with the character was Ghost was a criminal that unalived multiple people but was willing to have his son turn himself in for something that he’s done numerous times. I didn’t like the ending. But we all know 50 lines to tease😂
He wanted Tariq to stop trying to be in the street life, go to jail, Ghost get him out because he’s literally the Lieutenant Governor, and go to college and get a real job

I've been saying this for ages: no dead body, no open casket. In the episode where the ambulance was right behind Tasha before in the episode Ghost was shot, and Tariq was walking towards all the commotion, it was all a setup by Courtney and 50 Cent. They crafted an illusion to make viewers believe Ghost is dead, but they were really setting up his potential return in the future. Ghost, aka Omari Hardwick, wanted more money, but the budget couldn't handle his demands, so they temporarily wrote him off. Omari Hardwick will return, not as a narrator, but as a fully paid character. I'd love to see a spin-off about what Ghost has been up to, but it would likely be a limited series rather than multiple seasons. The Power Universe now has the budget to pay Omari Hardwick $1 million per episode. Expect Tariq to join the last season of Force and help Uncle Tommy. Also, the yellow envelope Tommy received is going to be crucial, containing important details about Ghost. We'll probably learn more about it in the last episode of Force, which should air in late 2024 or early 2025. Ghost is definitely not dead. What I loved about the original Power was its realism. I think Tommy will get punked a lot until James the first person to stand up and help but after a while when they’re already bestfriends, I think Tommy will be the first one influenced by the streets. The trouble Tommy gets into will cause James to get involved just to try to save Tommy but then something happens where Tommy and James get tied up with Kanan and that’s how they first meet.
My thing is Ghost coming back wouldn’t make sense like it’s been 5 years atp. STARZ keep using Ghost as promotion and people fall for it everytime, they literally left all of this mystery around Ghost death to promote all 3 spin-offs. They’ve been using Omari and the Ghost Character to promote all 3 of the spin-offs since OG power ended. It’s a genius marketing strategy to bait you into thinking he’s coming back lol, that’s why a lot of fans tune in to every episode Of Ghost , Raising Kanan, and Force every episode to see if he comes back. If Ghost was to come back, it would make sense for him to be a narrator for Power: Origins or an actual hallucination/Ghost lol.

I believe in one interview, he mentioned being asked to come back, if it were for the hallucination scene, I believe it would have been more impactful.

One thing i do think is that, I think the story of Ghost should’ve been the guy that got out and didn’t die or end up in prison. Ultimately OG Power was about Ghost trying to get out the game, On one side he had the high school sweetheart that was innocent and on the other he had his wife who had a family with who didn’t want him to get out the game. Would been cool if Ghost was alive secretly, because like they say “ghost never die”.

Reasons for Ghost being alive
1. When Tariq hid the gun in Truth, you can see the first time he went the gun was fully blacked out but when he went to retrieve it you can see on the slide the chamber was silver. Ghost done regular routine checks around his club, it’s not crazy to think he found it.
2. Whenever a character is killed on the official instagram page they post a tribute to the character. They done it for characters like Ramirez & Jabari but not Ghost.
3. The ambulance leaving shortly after the shooting. Tariq had just left so there was no way an ambulance could’ve been called that quickly and we all know Tommy wouldn’t alert the authorities for anything.
4. His body was never shown. No open casket nothing. In addition to that, just before Tariq shot Ghost as Ghost told him he loved him and Tasha came bursting in, Ghost face (in my opinion) was just screaming “Do it, do it mf” A man like Ghost who was the smartest in the show, who completely dominated his profession you can’t tell me he couldn’t see his wife & son were the true obstacle of him leaving the game. Ghost would always try to wriggle out of a problem. Which is another reason I find weird he never moved or tried to disarm tariq. Almost as if he wanted him to shoot
The camera angle of Tariq hiding the gun and retrieving it was important. Why would they bother with a shot of him hiding and retrieving the gun? I feel like it was done on purpose.

Raising kanan quality? He killed someone early in season 1 and there was no real lead up for that level of violence. But say I believe it, right after there was no type of emotion about it after. Meaning they showed us nothing from how he perceived the incident or how the family taught him to to deal with it. They just moved over it. Now one can say that’s why he’s how it is cause they didn’t talk about it, but that’s a cop out. It’s a show we are watching
Since origins is about both James and Tommy than Tommy needs to voiceover too. Also Kanan knew Breeze first so Breeze needs to appear in Raising Kanan first.

Would’ve been cool for Tariq to see Ghost & Kanan like Monet saw Lorenzo & Mecca. Both faced a bit of an “ego death” in these vulnerable moments, and even though they made decisions that will keep them down the same path (and miss out on the baby) it makes for an opportunity to really understand the characters’ motives and connect them

The only issue I had with the character was Ghost was a criminal that unalived multiple people but was willing to have his son turn himself in for something that he’s done numerous times. I didn’t like the ending. But we all know 50 lines to tease😂

I've been saying this for ages: no dead body, no open casket. In the episode where the ambulance was right behind Tasha before in the episode Ghost was shot, and Tariq was walking towards all the commotion, it was all a setup by Courtney and 50 Cent. They crafted an illusion to make viewers believe Ghost is dead, but they were really setting up his potential return in the future. Ghost, aka Omari Hardwick, wanted more money, but the budget couldn't handle his demands, so they temporarily wrote him off. Omari Hardwick will return, not as a narrator, but as a fully paid character. I'd love to see a spin-off about what Ghost has been up to, but it would likely be a limited series rather than multiple seasons. The Power Universe now has the budget to pay Omari Hardwick $1 million per episode. Expect Tariq to join the last season of Force and help Uncle Tommy. Also, the yellow envelope Tommy received is going to be crucial, containing important details about Ghost. We'll probably learn more about it in the last episode of Force, which should air in late 2024 or early 2025. Ghost is definitely not dead.
What I loved about the original Power was its realism. Sure, some things were a bit far-fetched, but 90% of the situations were believable. I've studied this show closely, and there are multiple ways they can easily bring back Ghost, aka Omari Hardwick. Many might not remember, but the spot where Tariq hid the gun is the same place Ghost hid his in an earlier episode.
I've heard discussions about whether Ghost would go to prison if he returned after faking his death. The simple answer is no. In a realistic scenario in New York, you can't fake your death without facing legal charges, but there's something called a necessity defense. Plus, Ghost has the Democratic Party backing him, which I believe helped him hide. The writers could craft a compelling script explaining Ghost's necessity defense and legitimate reasons for faking his death. It would require top-notch writing to make his return believable, but it's definitely possible.
Ghost isn't dead, and I guarantee that. 50 Cent, hit me up-I can write you a multi-million dollar season for just $100,000 LOL!

The trouble Tommy gets into will cause James to get involved just to try to save Tommy but then something happens where Tommy and James get tied up with Kanan and that’s how they first meet.

My thing is Ghost coming back wouldn’t make sense like it’s been 5 years atp. STARZ keep using Ghost as promotion and people fall for it everytime, they literally left all of this mystery around Ghost death to promote all 3 spin-offs. They’ve been using Omari and the Ghost Character to promote all 3 of the spin-offs since OG power ended. It’s a genius marketing strategy to bait you into thinking he’s coming back lol, that’s why a lot of fans tune in to every episode Of Ghost , Raising Kanan, and Force every episode to see if he comes back. If Ghost was to come back, it would make sense for him to be a narrator for Power: Origins or an actual hallucination/Ghost lol.
I mean they do own the story, scripts and produce the show so they can do what they want. I'm curious what Omar's next project is... And lets be honest 50 got him because he was a cheap actor with no leverage. He was supposed to flip the opportunity and exposure to a better paying gig. 5 yrs later he's still telling ppl about his beef with Starz. Ultimately OG Power was about Ghost trying to get out the game, On one side he had the high school sweetheart that was innocent and on the other he had his wife who had a family with who didn’t want him to get out the game.
