Leah's dad is not wrong when he said that Billiards is one of our favorite sports that starts with letter B. Efren "The Magician" Reyes is considered worldwide as the GOAT by many. We also have Dyanggo Bustamante whom we consider as the next great player after Efren. And Pool here in the Philippines is better known as Billiards or Bilyaran in Tagalog.

  • @Avian07

Both Her and the Father's accent in English and Tagalog is close to a Filipino speaker I mean really close, if not for some words where they lose that accent. Which is understandable considering they weren't native speakers. Having said that both are very impressive Tagalog speakers, very very impressive. Most notably the father he sounds exactly like a Filipino father or uncle and very knowledgeable too... even more than me lol
Those first 3 actors he listed are veteran actors. Older ones.
Halo halo is a desert food that turns into a desert drink overtime lol.
    Kaya natin! = We(natin) can(kaya)!
    Kaya natin yan! = We(natin) can(kaya) do it(yan)!
(Her translation is correct aswell. Its just a different way of phrasing it.)
"kaya" is the word "can" like "I CAN do it!" so if someone ask you to to do something like "Can you finish this report at the end of the day?" you say "Kaya!" or "Kaya, sir!" or if your overly optimistic or so sure of yourself "Kayang kaya!" lol. This is comparable to "Maraming Marami"
    "natin" is basically just "we"
"yan", referring to whatever thing or action they want to do, e.i. Suntukin yan = Punch(Suntukin) it(yan). "yan" can also refer to a persons (him/her)
There is no Tagalog equivalent of "him" and "her" or "he" or "she" so they all fall under "yan", "siya", "ikaw" maybe there more but please expound it more for me in the comment section. So taking the example ive given "Suntukin yan" could go "Suntukin siya" or "Suntukin ikaw" that last one is improper but beginner tagalog speakers love to use it, but it should go "Suntukin kita" which translate to "I'll punch you"
"yan" is most used for things or a specific area you're pointing at but can be a person aswell depending on the context.
"siya" is used for a person.
    "Ikaw" is the word "you"
    More examples:
    Maganda yan = That's(yan) beautiful(Maganda)
Maganda siya = She's/He's(siya) beautiful(Maganda) but we use "Gwapo" for males, instead of "Maganda". Like using the word "handsome" to refer a to boy instead for the more feminine word "beautiful" but both can be used either way for both genders.

Hello Ovela, I know personally her father and her mother. We live in Paris during the 90's with my family and we used to buy filipino stuff in their Filipino store and they have another business sending cargo to the Philippines as we called it Balikbayan box and we are their regular clients as we send cargo regularly. That's why when she mentioned about her mother, in her other video and show her picture I remember right away as she didn't change much but her father has changed a lot. When I was still in Paris her father knows tagalog already as he speak to us in tagalog but not as fluent as he is now. I was really amused when I first watched her Vlog.😂😀

Sa mga Pilipino, may direct translation ba ang "impeccable", or talagang "hindi nagkakamali" lang yung translation? Because "hindi nagkakamali" literally means "not making a mistake" in english. Ginoogle translate ko pa, I got really confused kasi I felt like there's a Tagalog word for it, but turns out, wala pala? Hi Ovela you ask about what does it mean of “KAYA NATIN” and it means “WE CAN DO IT” / “WE CAN DO”
“KAYA” is actually a word or english for CAN DO and NATIN is an english for “WE” but when somebody asking to a person in a short way “KAYA” / KAYA MO? that person is asking “YOU CAN”? because “MO” is “YOU”. I hope you understand what I explain to you😁😆
