I had to revisit this run. The new cranes 2021 fit just a little tighter than these on its bridge pass. Yet the newer cranes have a serious reach across the bigger 🚢 coming into the port where these couldn't possibly reach without turning the ship around.

they flood the ballast tanks to sink the ship . it most likely sits higher off the water even with the cranes but they probably sunk it alot just to get under the bridges.

A few things going on. Checking heights ,ships ballast . And the after they can't bring the ship into port without a bay Capt. They know every part of the bay up into dundalk terminal and other's. The ships sitting extremely low all ready..if that ships captain soley on his own was to guide that ship into the terminal. It would be a clusterfuk. Likely causing a closing of all ship travel inside and coming into the ports...

Is this the bridge that collapsed from a ship?

  • @SodorValleyProductions
    @SodorValleyProductions 12 лет назад +3

Those ships are made to sit low in the water for carrying cargo like that. I'm not exactly sure on the about the Zhen Hua, but I know some ships are made semi-submersible so they can sink into the water, load their cargo, and then come up to transport the cargo on the ship itself.

Another great show. Thanks for sharing. Where is the port fuzzies? Gotta tell 'em UR filming their. And it is wierd - the stuff made overseas. The concrete ties and steel rails including switches for the PHX light rail were made in preassembled sections in India. The Chinese heavy construction equipment plant that competes with CAT is in Illinois!
