@blazehomie321 it's such a good Waterpark! Honestly, I don't know if anyone can compete with the sheer uniqueness of that park. I don't think I'll ever be in a cabana again, sadly, 🙁 but maybe during the non-peak season, we'll try down the road.
I have seen a few VB videos , never been and a little clueless about it,, but you were the first to mention how parking works, that was so informative and helpful to know so we can plan our day. Thanks for the great video 👏
Of course! Glad it helped! Volcano Bay is a great park, but it really can be quite confusing if you don't understand transportation and how the Tapu Tapu system works.
We went on a family vacation in April 2024. The cabana is so worth it! We had a great one right next to the volcano with the wave pool on one side and the lazy river on the other side. So nice to have a place to get out of the sun and supplies of towels, water and snacks. It was great to order our food and drinks and have them delivered and then enjoy our food inside the cabana. We weren't too far from the children's section which my granddaughter had a blast in. So many different rides. What a great park. We stayed at a hotel inside Universal Studios so we took the shuttle bus everywhere from right outside our hotel.
Oh that's awesome! Love to hear that. I would love to do a cabana every time we went, but we go often enough that I don't know if we can justify paying the price every time. But if we were visiting once a year or so, I'd DEFINITELY rent one EVERY time. They're actually really affordable for what you get, honestly. Volcano Bay is still my favorite all around theme park in Orlando. SOOOO many offerings, and it's theming is on another level. Love that your family vacation included the cabana!
@@Dillon.Thomas When we were there we saw a larger cabana rented for a birthday party. That's another good idea. If you live close by and go often, renting a cabana every time can get a little too much; unless you had a group of friends willing to share the cost each time.
@@rhondapease8516 Exactly. I think if we had a group of people looking to go, it would make total sense. Take 8-10 people and split the cabana price. DEFINITELY worth it. Again, they're not horribly priced, either. So it's certainly worth it! The Cabanas on the cruises we were looking at were more than double what the priciest cabana at Volcano Bay was.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! Volcano Bay is definitely a great Waterpark, it's such a unique park! I'd love to get out to the U.K. for some parks overseas. But it's definitely hard to plan that trip haha.
@anitajohnson3085 Oh nice! That'll be fun, do you guys do any of the holiday events around the parks? If we ever plan a trip out there we will definitely have to let you know! It hasn't been put in the works yet, but never say never lol.
@@Dillon.Thomas we have done HHN absolutely amazing we don't get anything like this over here, and Mickey not so scarey that was fun in a massive storm lol x
We didn’t get a chance to go to Volcano Bay Last time we were there but can’t wait to do it next time! We stayed at Aventura and they had their own little private entrance/path to Volcano Bay. I think renting a cabana is worth it if you have a big group that way you can split the cost lol that’s really cool that you can go inside the Volcano! It reminded me of the Jurassic Camp Cave area at Island of Adventure! You did a great job highlighting Volcano Bay! Can’t wait to go next time! Great Vlog!
I have friends that love staying at Aventura! I think that's a great option, and it's relatively affordable. Volcano Bay is an AMAZING water park, it's definitely a different feel because of how big it is and the system they use to wait in lines is quite unique. The cabana's are 100000% worth it if it fits in the budget for a trip, it's hard to want to do Volcano Bay any other way, though 😂😅 This was the first time I've walked through the Volcano, but it's SUPER cool, I didn't realize it was that easy. I appreciate the kind words, and hopefully you can take a day to enjoy Volcano Bay in the future, it's definitely worth it!
I'm glad you were able to get information from the video! To my knowledge, no, they will assign you cabana from what I gathered. You may be able to request one, though, but I'm not 100% certain. Super worth it, regardless! If there's restrictions you have, like stairs or anything, I'm sure they will accommodate, though! 😊
That one was peak season, they said I think just over $500, they had booked it awhile ago, so they weren't certain but they said it was pretty pricey for the day.
That is the same cabana we had and the view of the volcano was the best (I was so shocked when we were escorted over because I was worried about not getting a good view since the location is not guaranteed)! I loved it loved it loved it lol. I originally booked one in the kids area but when I found out they had a maximum height for the slides, I switched it to an upper. I completely agree, whenever I go to a waterpark I like having my own little retreat to take a break and most importantly, a locker. I probably wouldn't get another one unless I had some family or friends join me because it was just my daughter and me; we were there in June and after taxes it was a little over $800. Blew my budget wide open 🤦🏽♀. We didn't do any of the slides; my daughter bounced between the wave pool and the lazy river but she had fun despite being a little disappointment about the kids area. I'd love to go back in the future with a group so I can do a little more!
Haha no way! That's crazy we had the same view, it was honestly gorgeous! 😍 I never knew they were up on the second floor with that amazing visual. I definitely could see toy straying away from the cabana from the kid area if they weren't going to be able to experience it, still a shame they have the maximum height requirement, seems a little weird for them to do so. Ya, I'm definitely crazy about locking my stuff up at Waterparks or the beach. I'm too nervous about leaving my stuff unattended for long periods of time. Have you checked out the private seating options? It looks to be a step up from the regular lounge chairs, but it gives you a safe and a shaded lounger. That might be a good option, I agree, though, I can't spend that kind of money on a cabana every time I go, but anyone that can budget it, it's arguably one of the best upgrades on property! Surprisingly enough, we've gone 2 or 3 times with just doing the wave pool and rivers, and we still have a great time! Obviously the slides are top notch, but they've done a great job making all of their experiences in the park feel so unique, so it didn't bother us too bad.
@@Dillon.Thomas I forgot all about the premium seating because they also have lockers! I will most likely do that next time. I was going to get those on our last visit but since it was our first time going I wanted to treat myself LOL. I'm paranoid about leaving my stuff unattended as well; it's hard to have fun when you're worried about your belongings and the lockers you can rent tend to get crowded and not always close. We don't get to waterparks often so that's the only reason I'm able to stretch my budget a little; definitely couldn't do it regularly. Took me a month to decide if I really wanted to spend that much. The only downside for me when getting a cabana is that my daughter doesn't like to stop and rest lol.
@@lashaysmith7783 I would probably say the premium seating might be your best option to watch the budget, but still get that exclusivity for sure. I could see myself doing that a lot more often, just for the convenience and safety of my belongings. Especially because like you said, your locker may be so far away from where you find seating. So this lets you keep everything more centralized. I can DEFINITELY understand wanting to treat yourself to the cabanas, and you definitely should! We all need to splurge for some fun additions to our trip sometimes, it made the experience that much better for you and your family, which means it's 100% money well spent! I feel like everyone always says the same thing "The cabana is for me, not the kids" LOL! So, if you were loving it, that means it's worth it haha. The kids only care about the attractions, but I can't blame them lol! 😂😂
It did! It was amazing! I don't know the location, unfortunately, when you have a cabana, you just have a full list of the menu items you can order. It doesn't break it down by location. But 100% recommend it, it was VERY good!
Are you referring to Cabana Bay? If so, it definitely is a really nice hotel! Our friends were staying there and we swam with them and explored around. Very nice!
