No because the module are different. Buttons are different, and no solar cells in the dw-5000. You can put a gw-m5610 module in a gw-5000 case and since it's all stainless steel it would be almost the same.
It wouldn't be almost the same to put a gwm5610 module in a gw5000, it would be exactly the same, as they use the same module, like this video. You really ought to talk about module numbers not watch reference numbers. BTW why are you doing this swap, just for the yellow tint?
Only gw-5000 teardown on youtube!
Its the only gw5000u disassembly i could find on youtube❤
You're a brave man.
You forgot the one white inside watch ..?
How do you change the glass? I’d like to switch my 5000U glass to the M5610 colored glass to resemble the 1983 model.
How is this the only disassembly video on the GW-5000
Why would you use such an expensive Rising Red to experiment?
Good job ! How do you order just the module from casio, it seems that the regular consumer can't get a hold of just the module ?
Please, is possible fit the gwb5600 module in gmw-b5000 case? Thanks.
Great watch
It is the same module.Only the floating module spacer makes it hard to install.DO NOT remove the spacer!
because the gw-5000 is a much better watch and I liked the pixelated screen on the rising red
Have you ever changed the buttons on the GW-5000. I would really like some advice or even a video to help.
Dis he forget the plastic cover before putting the screw back case?
George C haha I think I did but I probably put it back in after I noticed it
the only way to learn is to try, this was my first module swap, and the modules were fine
Szia, a gw-5000u modul is ugyanilyen? Azt is így kell kiszedni a házból? Köszönöm
sir if we switch gw5000 module to gw5610 can it fit,,
Has anyone actually taken the module apart and reassembled it to change the LCD? lol now u just have a nasty yellow screen in your nice GW-5000
Fabian Dee I have seen people change the filter of the screen which changes it, for example, from positive to negative.
hey, do u think that the module from gw-m5610 would fit into dw-5000 case?

Have you taken the 5630 module apart? I'm curious how this LCD is assembled compared to others.
thanks
