They made the movie a lot more tragic/plot twisty. It's a really good transformative adaptation that builds/diverges from the source material, I"m a fan. I still get teary eyed over some parts.
Let’s not forget at the end, “Keep Moving Forward” is a part of a quote by Walt Disney “Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

I also like how the time travelling part of this movie is treated in the most realistic way possible by going with the harry potter 3 approach, have the events already happen with the only difference is in which side of the situation the character is in. It's the one that makes the most sense because it's one continuous timeline that only twists around itself
Ok that kind of makes to me. But I still think this movie has tons of Paradoxes especially with the type of time travel I see the movie going with. I think the movie going with. "Everything is one time line". That would mean changing anything in the past that would prevent time travel, would shatter reality with a Paradox. You could go with branching timelines but that just makes it all a mess and also would not make sense. What you are saying I see as creating an infinite time loop but could also mean that none of the events ever happened because by the end of the movie they were all undone. I think the Avengers Endgame approach conceptually makes more sense, but they didn't actually execute it perfectly in that movie. The idea of a timeline twisting around itself is one that I have trouble considering possible, so it's easy to just say it doesn't have to and create a new timeline.

This movie is fucking criminally underated. I LOVED this movie as a kid, I even had the game on GameCube & the CD with the bonuses and deleted scenes. I practiced reciting this movie over and over to the point where to this day I can STILL speak along with everyone's dialogue, word for word. I even practiced singing the songs for this movie, YES even the Jonas Brother's kids of the future song AND the credit song. What I'm trying to say is Meet the Robinsons was only popular really within the old 2013-2016 niche Disney/Non fandom, but was neglected practically everywhere else. I loved this movie so much. The "I have a big head, and little arms." Joke was worn down in my family and is now one of our main catch phrases. I designed one of my _Drawing OC's_ after eraser head. I love every god damn second of this movie and it will always be apart of my childhood.
"Keep Moving Forward" is still to this day a life motto of mine!
"You're a bitch" is also one motto of mine
Wait, you can't have it, it's my family moto. What am I supposed to say now? "Continue locomotion in the direction you face"?
How about “You can shine no matter what you’re made of.”
I fucking love watching your videos bro. It makes me feel nostalgic because I grew up watching Over the Hedge and Meet the Robinsons. They are films I had forgotten about and you making awesome videos about them have made me love them again. Keep up the great content.
This movie was AMAZING and I really loved it's message.
I would send Disney my life savings JUST to get a remake or hell even a sequel. Take my fucking kidneys lmao
I loved that game
i remember the ds version
Omg me too!
I watched this in 1st grade and had absolutely no idea what the hell happened or what was going on
IKR!
I've seen it 2 times. It never resonated with me.
This movie was my childhood, I love it so much, and anyone who hates it is on my hate list. This movie was totally underrated and I wish it had more fans. The soundtrack is amazing, the plot is really really great, and there isn't a part of the movie I don't like. No offense but your insults about the movie make me angry. *Very angry* but hey, that's just because I think this is one of the most underrated movies ever made. Astro boy is first, then this movie, followed by Brother Bear and A Goofy Movie.
Ahh, Brother Bear.
Such a good movie with such a good soundtrack from such a good childhood. :)
Don't forget Treasure Planet
@@mattn5594 I actually haven't seen that movie yet. My sister really likes it, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.
KiritoNoiharaQuartz
Treasure Planet is severely underrated.
100% agree with everything you said! But don't forget Treasure Planet!!
You should do hoodwinked
Jaredgotbackpain *YES*
Yes please I don't why the movie got average reviews. It was lovely.
Hoodwinked's gotta be one of my favourite kids movies. Not even trying to be funny
Holy shit yes
YES OH MY GOD
literally this was my favorite movie as a kid but no one else in my like second grade class liked it and teased me for it :/
idc tho I’m proud of this movie it’s so good and makes me feel good as I am adopted :p
It's kinda sad that you need a fictional animated character to feel good.
@@JaKingScomez movies are made by real people dip shit, we tend to get attached to characters because we relate to them
I love the Mom and son relationship between Franny and Wilbur, she loves him no matter what! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Holy shut I remember this like right at the back of my mind and it’s like merged with my memory of astroboy
So, who was Astro Boy? Wilbur or Luis?
5:53
Do you remember Robots?
Unfortunately, yes
Yeah
I remember being attracted to some of the robots. What the fuck was wrong with me as a kid?
my favorite movie as a kid, i wonder how it holds up?
I HATED that movie
7:45
I thought that that was real for a second.
I died at that part lol
@@endergirldragon so did i
That moment caught me off guard and I ended up laughing at it for a few minutes
Aww, c'mon, Wilbur might be a more dynamic character, but Lewis is not flat. He has so many likeable characteristics that I found myself relating to personally. I can understand why Wilbur is a fan fave - he's fantastic! But I really love Lewis a lot too.
The jokes were top tier this video dood
Wait...
Bowler hat dude controls a frog..
Then a T-Rex..
THIS IS LITERALLY SUPER MARIO ODDYSEY TOLD FROM THE PEOPLE'S PERSPECTIVE.
Damn I barely noticed that.
The soundtrack gets me all the time. I really liked this movie as a kid, and even now as an adult. The message really holds up
Are we not gonna talk about how Wilbur fricking threw him off a roof on purpose not knowing his time machine was there and it saved his life.
Why would he try to kill his dad 💀
@LIAMSWAG56 r/wooosh
I love you
i love both of you
I love all of you
I love this world
I love myself
I want to fucking die
I admire your ability to relate everything to HSM2. Love ittt
This movie exists? I thought I dreamt it up when I was 8.
Me about prince of Egypt and all dogs go to heaven.
I knew they had to exist
wow did you read my mind or sum thats exactly what i thought
@@shadow_shine3578 For me, I remember thinking IT (the 90's miniseries) was just a really bad nightmare
@@davidkonevky7372 same with momma mea.
I extremely like how he put the soundtrack in the background, the soundtrack is so beautiful, the amount of effort made for it even though it’s such an underrated movie it’s still amazing and makes me appreciate the movie a lot more, people need to realise how good of a movie this is.
Homeboi needs to get more subs honestly. Lord I love you
Dude, that first transition with Inner Wave was incredible! I actually got to meet the whole band a few months back at a concert and your inclusion caught me by surprise! Love your taste in music!
You met the Robinson's band
Noah Eli I have never met someone who likes innerwave. I never got to go before they were done with dog days :(
In June this year I watched this movie while eating microwaved panera bread..
How is nostalgia possible to be felt from something from 2 months ago?
When was the first time you watched the movie?
"We then meet the bowler hat guy who is basically the original Doofenshmirtz"
*Lol! He looks just like him😂*
