    Another great video brother. Don’t make the same mistake I did, when I was dispatching the raccoon I accidentally shot the release button on the trap and the raccoon chased me for two hours in the woods before finally giving up on chasing me. Close call!

    Tug, for your traps put a pingpong ball onn top of it & drizzle a sweet syrup over it, it will make the raccoons more curious. The meat looked amazing and the fact Bianaca loved it makes my heart sing. ❤❤ I always taught make kuds to be open minded & try everthing once.

    • @kjewell91
      @kjewell91 9 месяцев назад

      Nana is absolutely correct. Put a ball up there. I find ping pong balls to be a bit light so I use golf balls that are brightly colored. Effective for spotting the trap and keeping pesky squirrels, chipmunks and mice out so the coons can come in and be dinner.

    I got my wish. Miss B eating racoon. I'd like to see how it was cleaned and where the glands are.
    My daughter was a vegan for 25 years in California. She moved out here to Tennessee
    and started eating game because she doesn't need to worry about how they were raised. Now she butchers deer rabbit hogs, frogs and anything else she finds.
    Great video.

      In the 1800s people actually ate skunks. They removed the glands and cooked in them up. I'm just not that desperate. Racoons and armadillo OK.Never ate a possum either. Many a hungry family did . During the depression people were happy to have a pot of anything.

    The best raccoon bait for those dog proof traps is the cheapest dry cat food you can find, mixed with mini marshmallows. Stuff a regular size (big) marshmallow in the top to keep the rain from turning it all to mush, and presto, you're ready to trap raccoons.

    The DP traps are the easiest way to find quick success trapping raccoons. You might try some blind trail sets with a 1.5 coil or a #11 double long spring, also a great method. Once you start trapping your hooked. It’s the best management tool available. Working the raccoons, skunks and possums toward the end of your season will yield the best results for your turkey. When you take them out you create a vacuum effect, the closer you are to the turkey brood the more it minimizes the chance for these animals to repopulate giving the nests the best chance to not be raided. I do this for a number of people I trap on and it yields great results for them. The hides will be a lot worse but you aren’t trapping for fur so it’s indifferent in your case. Tight chains.

I had a raccoon in My shade one time in the summer time putting our kayak away from a 35 mile kayak camping trip we did & i was right there in it face before i noticed that it was right there. I I'm surprised it did not come and try to bite me in my face cuz we both was face to face with each other before I noticed it was there. You want to talk about a 300Ibs fat dude jumping down to 100Ibs in 2 seconds. "LOL" I yell so loud that everybody on the west side of the mississippi river heard me. & No lie 5 minutes later My cousin called me and asked me what was going on with me. I told him what had just happened & he just LOL. 15 min later the raccoon walked away & out my backyard. I saw were he came out at & fix it Immediately. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this.

    Coon meat is really good. You can cook it anyway you cook pork or chicken. Just make sure it is completely cooked. Do not eat it medium rare. Just like pork. American pork...

      Yes, they can have tricinosis just like pork and bears, I think they are genetic "cousins" 😮
