Excellent work, thank you. I left Bebington in the 1970's but I've only lived in France since 2010!
Elm Court in Village Road is located on what was Storeton Engineering, a car garage. They were Austin Morris dealers and then later on an Opel Garage. The garage sort of surrounded the British Legion with the front on Teehey Lane where the residential block is now.
Thank you for the work you put in to making this video. Take care

Had my first pint in the Royal Oak with my older brother Alan and Jimmy Mc Burney about 1956.Also went to that same spot On Parkgate front on bike rides in the early 50's and played on the sand.

I think my ancestors lived in those cottages, Evans fishermen

The flats opposite the Royal Oak was Cubbin and North Citroen garage workshops so possibly would have been a garage when pic done

The lampposts and bus stop may have been there when the painting was er… painted but the artist might have chose not to include them for artistic reasons. It does look much better without them. No evidence of this, just a thought 😊. Nice video.

Sad to thing we have lost parkgate water its not just marsh, now local council has stopped raking and treating westkirby we are in danger of losing large parts of the best beach on the wirral. New brighton is covered in concreate blocks not a nice lookijg beach
