Bullet dodged, absolutely no chance. Very nervous on his debut which is hugely understandable given how much his career has exploded over the last 2 years. Give it 18 months and can see Kusanov being the ideal replacement for Schar
Arteta is desperate for any justification for his lack of success with Arsenal considering how much he's spent with them. That's the difference with someone who's experienced and someone who's been on the coat tails of someone else's success! Even the Arsenal fans are becoming frustrated with Arteta - conscious that he's only good for kicking off on the touchline, frowning and making his excuses, rather than staying cool and trying to formulate a solution to recover the match. All about experience - and class.
sorry but I thought the red card was justified, they player went in studs up and that is dangerous play, the tackle was made to break up play and if it was just a normal tackle I wouldn't have an issue but when studs are shown it needed to be addressed
@@everythingisblackandwhiteNUFC I can’t understand the need to rescind an potential ankle breaking tackle, typical of the constant winging of that Cockney Club, Gunners my backside, Cry Babies is more appropriate
It's very naive to judge a 20 year old after 1 game in a very difficult and new league. He's a very talented player with huge potential who we would have all loved at Newcastle, Eddie Howe would have neutered and coached him exactly how he needed to improve and be a very good player, exactly like Hall. We've not dodged a bullet, in 2-3 years he'll be an excellent player
He is a quality player tbf from what I’ve seen. He’s a young boy in a new country thrown straight in. Even Jaap Stam started poorly and he later turned in to a colossus.
For all those who considered it not to be a penalty, there are just as many who think it was a penalty, including a trained referee, and trained var staff, as it was above the ankle, and was deliberate, the rules say red card, If it had been a Fulham player, the Arse an all camp would have been baying for a red card.
Give the lad a chance. Bullet dodged. I watched the tape on the lad. Good speed big lad, just looked a bit raw and reckless at times. Needs to read the game a little better but think he has right traits.
It was a clear penalty. He went for the man not the ball, his foot was high with studs up and it hit the lower part of his shin close to the ankle. How is that NOT a yellow card?
Great show again guys but I have a very different view on the Skelly red card. I try and look at these tackles in do we want our kids to think that's OK when they play football. Well in this incident was it a deliberate cynical foul to stop wolves breaking away? Yes, it is the studs first and above a players ankle. Now kids think that is another thing that is OK to try and school or on the pitch to stop a break away. Not for me that could cause serious injury
It was absolutely deliberate foul, studs into the leg above the ankle. Seen a lot of people saying it’s a red to the letter of the laws, and some saying it’s an orange. Well if we aren’t going to play the game to the laws then we might as well stop playing football. I find it strange that you guys say it is not a red card. He could have easily have caused serious damage to the player. So it was reckless, could have easily caused damage, it was done on purpose (mistimed just shows a lack of skill), nowhere near the ball, studs into the leg just above the ankle, whether it was malicious or not only the player will know. Even when I first saw it at full speed I thought red card and then seeing the slow motion and still just reinforced that.
@ Still that is was a red card and as usual Arsenal (one of the big 6) have gotten their own way. If it had been us or any team outside of the toxic it wouldn’t have been overturned.
i don't think it's a bullet doged after 1 game. Yes, he was very nervy at the start gave the ball away for the goal but what a game to play your first game especially only being in the country and the club about a week talk about baptism of fire so no their is a chance he turns out really good
@everythingisblackandwhiteNUFC but you cant determine if a player is a good or a flop in 1 game. Dude was in the door less than 2 weeks and the tag line is asking that question..... so yes I think its click bait as the question shouldn't of even been a question so soon

I actually hope the lad is a big success! Thanks from watching.
Dodged a bullet ? He’s only played one game and was thrown straight in the team . Bound to be a little nervous . I think he will come good
He probably shouldn’t have played, Guardiola said it himself. Hopefully he can be a success. It would be some story.

Do you think he’s in charge of Arsenal next season?
It's a must have for Sam to be on the show Andrew, really enjoy your football chats mate 👍🖤🤍🖤🤍
Thanks for your comment! I enjoy having him on.

I also agree a foul with studs above the ankle on a standing leg, could quite easily done a lot of damage
Agreed.
What do you make of the fact it’s now been rescinded?

@@everythingisblackandwhiteNUFC political move, but it is still a red card if rules are strictly and properly applied.

I think you’re right Kev. The lad needs time. The Q was in response to a few comments I’d seen. I think he’ll be a success.
Remember Lewis Hall
Excellent point!

That’s a great point on Stam. Plenty did start slowly. Hopefully the kid is a success!
Yes, have Sam there during his visit to see NUFC play Arsenal 👍
Noted!

Thrown in at the deep end. Kind of justifies why Howe introduces players slowly. I actually reckon Khasanov will do well though
You contradictic yourself, you are right he did not interpret the rules wrongly,it was above the ankle.IT IS THERFORE NOT A MISTAKE.
Fair point Laurence - hard to argue with that 😂
I can remember when Zinedine Zidane scored,he done an Alan Shearer goal celebration and nothing was done
😂 when did this happen

They’ve bought a gem….poor idea to put him straight in. Young lad not even got his case unpacked….Eddie would have treat him more sensibly.
That’s a good point, John. Thanks for watching
Get him in on Wednesday

In my opinion it was a RED CARD
Yes. Same as guehi. That could have been a reet cook up.
Guehi been super for Palace this season
To be fair the lad made a glaring early error but actually settled and went on to put in a good performance by all accounts
@@ericengleby265He’s had as many poor games as he’s had good games. He’s not a 60 million player by any stretch.

What a joke headline..... come on man
No he looked decent once he settled in.
Cardigan Kid ....lol
Red card for me
dodged a bullet? this clickbait or something?
It was one question out of several about his debut. It’s not clickbait as Sam actually answered the question about him being a ‘bullet dodged’
