This was terrific! I am considering this vehicle as my next car. I am worried about the headlights at night though. The IIHS rating is marginal! I already have terrible headlights on my current vehicle. Part of the reason I am looking for a new one. I drove the SLT right where you are in fact, in July when I needed to rent a car. I liked how it drove and the very quiet ride! Thanks for this!
Dont be worried about the lights. I am 56 and had lasic surgery 15 years ago that really messed up my night vision. This car has lcd lights that are auto diming when cars come at you. They are very bright. The 2022 caynon that i traded in had the older hologen lights and they were not all that bright. These lcd lights are a hundred times brighter and I now love driving at night.

I like the quick, no nonsense review process this dude implements and covers all the little details. But I am still wondering a little how the interior noise levels are at highway speeds. (Engine, road, tire, wind, etc). Intrusive interior noise levels are a pet peeve of mine. From the video, it's hard to tell. I'm guessing it's somewhere between "average" and ultra quiet, luxury car level? Are the 3rd row seats removable? Is there a factory trailer hitch receiver behind the cover assuming it has the trailer package (camera and wiring)?
Funny thing but all the Acadia reviews I've seen on RUclips, no one mentions the hands free tailgate open that works by waving your foot under the rear left side of the tailgate. GM even put a nice feature in the form of a light that glows GMC when you approach the rear of the vehicle so one can know where to wave your foot. At least its on my 21 AT4 so not sure if they still do that but don't' see why not.
I bought this exact same vehicle on saturday only in volcano red and love it! I was looking at the at4 version of this but got a call that it sold right after i left. I took photos of that one at the dealership and to be honest i like the slt looks way better. The at4 was all blacked out except for the grill. I like the chrome around the side windows and the machined silver wheels way better on the slt.
The at4 had painted black wheels but not on the bolts or middle hub and it looked strange like that. The canylon's wheels are 100 percent blacked out and they looked alright but the wheels on the arcadia at4 didnt look right at all. I just thought the the slt looked alot sharper in all the right areas for my taste. Mine came with the trailer hitch package as well. I didnt choose any of the packages as they were on it at the dealership and it only had 6 miles on it.

@@RyanDoonan the denali is the most expensive option. I got the slt with all the options of denali for 10000 less. The only differances i see are the grill and wheels. Also I have plastic black trim going around the bottom. On the denali it would be no.trim being all metal going around the wheel wells and bottom. I live in the rust belt so i think black plastc going around the wheel wells and bottom would be better rust proofing. The grill and wheels is fancier on the denali but again i like the less fancy grill and wheels on the slt but that is a personal preferance. For 59000 to the 49000 dont think it is enough of a differance to justify the price.
Are Arcadia still having transmission problems the 2023
Nice review my man. Since you've driven a lot of these midsize SUV, which one of them rides the best or is the quietest inside from what you've experienced (especially between the acadia, telluride, explorer and traverse)?

I haven’t driven a telluride, but the explorer is great and the traverse and Acadia have very minimal road noise
I suggest you test drive each one, to see which one works best for you before you buy

@@703Speed Today, my wife and I test drove a 2024 Telluride EX and a 2023 Acadia SLE. The Acadia took bumps much more smoother than the Telluride.
@@moonmonk6418 Telluride EX does have stiffer suspension. Many reviewers commented on that. the SX might be softer.

I haven’t been in one, but I’d assume it’s similar to this. I’ll have to review one in the coming weeks
The GMC Arcadia is similar to the Chevy traverse Cadillac XT6 & The Buick Enclave also I thought The GMC Arcadia I thought it comes with a turbo charge

Love everything about the Acadia but the button select gear shift.
That touch screen is so 2016 though, my wife was gonna get the 60k Cadillac suv but that also has a small old school touchscreen! So now she wants a 85k BMW that touch screens gonna cost me 15k 😖
Does she want the X3 or the X5?
Has there been any major issues? Is this a vehicle that will last 200k?

@@703Speed right. I'm really thinking about getting in the next month or 2. I've read some reviews that said they were in the shop a month after buying new.
I have a family member that's on her 2nd one, her son has one that got him to commute to and from school and I guarantee his has twice the miles as mom's does, you know teenager's they lock a 1ook on the clock quick lol. She's hasn't had any issues with hers but she is on a lease and reups every 3yrs..

I’m not an expert but the SLE (basic) according to reviews on RUclips seems to have a nice amount of features at a much lower price. At least more features than other basic models
