- In celebration of the new Ghost album (which is awesome), here's me jamming through the opening song "Kaisarion"! ✌🏻👻 Such a fun track to play and a great opener for the album as well.
(I wasn't lightning fast with the song because this was filmed a few weeks back already :D)

Before I owned a drum set (even if it's not quite a real one, got me an electric one) and because my music taste is heavy I'd think songs like this was "not that difficult". Since I've bought a set and attempted to cover this song over the course of a few weeks I have been very humbled and realised how much talent it takes to cover songs I used to consider simple. You made this look effortless and I applaud you!
That's pure talent here. No show-off stick tricks, over the edge attidude... Just a passionate guy that is one with his instrument. Beautiful to see and listen.

Holy fuck this is perfect. It sounds like a studio version mixed with the drums a bit louder. I didn’t like how quiet the drums were and I didn’t particularly like the snare in this record. I’d pay for a full album mixed and played by you.

What I discovered is not that the studio version is mixed bad, it's that most "normal" headphones just plain suck, I listened first on on my audiophile setup and the mix was superb. When I listened to the song "on the road" with regular headphones I noticed that a lot of the detail and especially the drums sounded completely different. So, I guess, my recommendation is to have a nice audiophile session with the album, preferably on vinyl, a set of fancy ass headphones, a cigar and a glass of whiskey of your choice! And for on the road purposes you might need some EQ to adjust to whatever listening device you are using. Most consumer-headphones (even the pricy ones) have ridiculous frequency response curves that boost bass beyond any reasonable level. (Although, if you like bass, there's bassy audiophile headphones that don't completely kill the midrange and the highs - the highs being very important for most parts of a drumkit ;) )
I agree. I'm no expert but I've heard the song about 100 times.
If this isn't perfect, then it might be better than the studio version!

@@richardshaddy3020 Hehe, sometimes the struggle is real! :D This is how the fill goes: (K-K) S-T-Ft-Ft-K-K repeated twice and snare + china in the end. The two K’s in () are the two bass drum hits before the fill. (S = Snare, T = Tom, Ft = Floor Tom, K = Kick). Hopefully this helps!
