Sam : you mean a new voice actor? max : Well yeah, if they can't act!
It's a callback to the intros of the original game which stuck to the stylized monochromatic mode and ended with Sam & Max doing a different gesture at the end for each episode.

I'd like for the season 3 intro to be touched up just a little but pretty unchanged expect for some graphic stuff. Season 2 I'd love to see an entire new into because I feel like the current one is a little weak.
Oh yeah, he's made so many memorable tracks for Telltale Games, like The Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, etc.... this guy nails narrative music. Criminally underrated
@@rockmanjs3651 from what i understand, the original season 1 theme was made to be similar to the hit the road theme but still different enough that it couldnt be legally counted as the same thing 🤷♀️ so i guess they couldve used it if they wanted to lol idk shit ab this stuff either im just quoting the dev team
@@daddysydephil60 According to Skunkape, the team was never satisfied with how the final intro turned out in Season 1. It was originally supposed to be one of six, with each episode having it’s own unique intro. However, the budget didn’t allow for a unique intro for every episode and settled for colour and subtle animation changes throughout each episode. ( They say this in one of developer commentaries, forgot which one)
They changed the theme because the old one was just a shittier version of the Pleasently Understated Credit Sequence, while this one is actually original and is a bop.
@@pearsareawful9006 i enjoyed how instead of having the final episode be orange, it did all the different color schemes every screen change, like a rainbow, and you know the whole hugh bliss thing in this season, it's a neat little detail.

Because it’s metaphor for them returning from Devil’s Playhouse, since it’s the last time we actually saw them back in 2010. It’s a nice clever way to re-introduce characters and this remaster overall :)
the new opening cutscene is amazing but i kinda prefer the old music. this new one is great but just isn’t as iconic as the “ba da BAAAAA ba, badabadaba bada” of the old one. i wish they’d rearranged the old one and mixed in the new one if any of that makes sense

Fun fact: Each chapter's intro shows a different animation around the "Sam & Max created by Steve Purcell" bit, which is actually really neat to me

The old theme is actually a remix of the theme from Sam & Max: Hit the Road, so it's only fitting Save the World finally get its own unique theme.
The only thing I'd change about this is adding back the big percussion hit when the car drops on the Sam & Max title.
The original theme will forever be in my heart BUT THE NEW THEME an absolute banger

They changed the intro so the game could feel like one cohesive whole rather than six episodes.
And on the sixth episode, the intro kinda brings it all together.
You can tell during the end, they reainimated a scene for the trailer in the original game
If you listen closely to all the episodes’ openings, the sax solo at the beginning of each is different
Well it’s pretty easy to notice considering one opening is a fax machine instead
