But if they love this lying, wicked system, better than to receive even the love of the truth as a gift-the love of the truth, the gift of redemption from God, through simple faith in Jesus Christ-they will pass on and perish without the redemption God wanted to give them. It is a sad and difficult time, but they will be responsible, whatever they choose. We need to be about showing them that Jesus is good. We need to show them, and testify, that He came into the world to rescue the captives. He came, not for the righteous (there are none), but for sinners.
