Theres no hyperflash from running all LED's for headlights? I'm going to do headlights and foglights with LED just wanted to know ahead of time. thank you for the video!
Great video! I'm going to attempt this. My wife has a 2016 CRV EX-L so all I'd need is the Depo headlights and the clip kit in the case I break a few clips?
how did it go? my fiance also has a 16 EX-L and her headlights are in rough shape and I'd like to get her better visibility than these current ones. plug and play to the touring lights?
Was there a notable difference with night time driving? I’m just curious if it would be worth the time and money to upgrade. I’d do this for functionality purposes only. If there’s not much difference I don’t want to waste my time. Your video is super helpful thank you.
hey, I have a quick question. My mom has a 2016 CR-V LX and she doesn't mind missing the DRL. Can I direct replace her LX headlight to touring in that case? We just want the projector type.
I dont recommend changing your lights unless you reeeaaalllyyy need to or your a pro with these plastic car parts. I broken every fastener and 4 tabs on the bumper. I should have just refurbished the lights on the car instead of replacing them. Im so mad at the Honda Engineers for making people go through all this effort to just change the lights. The lights have posts on the corners behind the fenders that break easily. The 6 bumper tabs by the fender all break so easy. I tired to fix them with super glue and tape but if you get the bumper alignment wrong and have to realign it then you’ll just break the tabs again. Its so frustrating. I recommend getting an assistant when you take the bumper off and put it back on. When you put the bumper on start aligning it from the center and find the click in spots behind the grill first. I started from one side and the gaps around the lights by the grill were so bad.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone yeah I saw that video and that’s exactly what I plan to do. Also do you know if there’s any way to retrofit a factory heated steering wheel to my car as well?
@@mds2465 I believe you can but it involves a lot of wiring. I've never done it. The wires are not there to do it so Honda used to sell a kit that includes all the harnesses and steering wheel.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone yeah I’m aware of that. I think that one or more of the master Honda technicians at my job might know what I would need to get in order to retrofit those features. I would also like to retrofit side view mirrors with auto dimming glass and winkers if possible as well
Awesome video, just did this myself. Quick tip for everyone else, pulling fuse #21 will turn off the oem halogen DRL making it strictly LED.
I show this in the video..
@@JackofAllMasterofNonehe didn’t watch the whole thing bro. Chill.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone did u get rid of the 2013 crv?
Awesome video, I hope you make a video where you add fog lights. It would be very helpful.
Bro nice video! Thank you for all the info i'm thinking to do this update and you make it look so easy
It's not that bad on a 2015-16 CRV. Simple swap.
Thank you for the video! It is a very nice improvement if money is no object.
great video, i have a 2016 model exl and would like to upgrade to the touring headlights.
Hat are some good differences about the touring headlights?

No.

Good job my friend .excelent

Yes. Just the headlights is really all you need

Hi, I have a 2016 CRV that already has DRLs but no projector. Does that make this a direct swap? Thanks.
Yes it does.
Will H7 socket type work on my car? I have a 2013 crv EX-L. I love all your videos man, they are very informative.
H7 no. H4 yes.
How long does the extender for your drill have to be?

Huge difference. Like night and day
Wont connecting them to the yellow parking light wire also make them flash when the blinkers on lol?
Parking light, not turn signal. Two separate circuits.
A basic understanding of vehicle electronics is a must have for this project to be attempted.

Yes.
Wowser how is that engine bay so clean?
It was new. 😀
Where are you located? Can you perform the headlight swap if I provide parts?
Thanks for the video
Did you pull the fuse for the existing DRL so the High Beam doesn’t function as DRL anymore?
Yes
Where did you get your facelift grill? I have a 2013 CRV EX-L and want to have my grill like yours

My 2015 CRV touring has the running light tho?
Then you don't have to do what he's doing.
Can I retrofit these projectors to my 2014 EX-L?
You would have to do the whole facelift. I can show you how. I made a video on how to do it ruclips.net/video/AsvnZrhZu2Q/видео.html

Couldn’t you just tap into the daytime running lights already wired up
No. The DRL is the high beam headlight powered at a lower voltage. It is not a separate output.
Did you pull the DRL fuse so the High beam doesn’t function as DRL anymore?
I believe he did explain that part@@DubsVideosss
to Put headlights on Honda CRV 2016 you do not need to remove Bumpers nothing I did on mine heads and the other ones below whatever you call then
Heaven forbid the headlight would need to be REPLACED for a burnt out LED.
Don't understand this comment.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone Hes saying if the led strip burns out on like the EX or touring
Not worth the effort and potential downfall.
What downfall?
