I watched the Steve Miller Band at Eastern Washington State College, in a small Gymnasium in the Early 70's, before he became a Big Name!
It was a Small venue, and a Great time in my youth! 👍
To this Day, I'm trying to figure out What the "Pompatus of Love" is! 😂

I saw Steve early on at the Palladium in LA. They didnt even have chairs, you sat on the floor. Steve started out with a loyal following and played pretty much hard core stoner blues. he then became more of a top 40 guy and thats where he made his money.

    "The Joker."
The song the youngsters always think you're talking about when you bring up "Space Cowboy."

No. Somewhere around 2018 or 19 maybe.

The most boring act I’ve ever seen live. Great on radio but not live.

Interesting. Having never seen them, I got the same impression. But, just like most people, I bought Fly Like an Eagle and Book of Dreams back in the day. Both great albums!

Awesome, glad you enjoyed his show. The person who thought Steve Miller's show was boring, may have grown up with video tv. Truth is, not all concerts put on a "Big Show", because most musicians are focusing on playing and singing. Even The Beatles weren't really a "show" band. 🍏😀@@tomkipp3372
