What a fantastic haul!!! And, nooooooo, do not unhaul...just rearrange your shelves...or better still, add a new bookcase so you can buy even more books. 🙂I love Irene Hannon's Undaunted Courage seres...Oh, and I read my first Robert Whitlow book thanks to you and I'll definitely be reading more, so thanks.
I love your idea of adding a bookcase, but I did just do that in March. I have already rearranged the shelves a bit and have ideas of what else to move around when I need more room.
Love Lynn Austin books! I’ve read all her stand alone novels, One of my favorites is Until We Reach Home. 💕📚
I need to read more Lynn Austin, I've only read one.
I love Lynn Austin and can't wait to read All My Secrets. What a find. I also love The Blue Cloak. I've read all the books in that series and enjoyed them. It's amazing that they are all based on true American crimes.
I was so excited to find All My Secrets. Thanks for watching and commenting.
You got some great deals! Good finds! I liked the Master Craftsman- not a lot of faith, but an interesting story. I think I gave it 3 stars.
Thanks for the info!
You will truly enjoy Crystal Caudill. 🥰
I hope so!
We can never have enough books!!
Good to know... except my space is getting a little full 😅
Quite the haul video! I've not read any books from any of the authors mentioned. I've made quite a list of books to look into and see if my library has a copy. I've promised myself not to bring any more physical books into the house since I've been mainly reading ebooks and listening to audio books lately. Thanks for all the great suggestions, and I'm looking forward to your next video.
I really should use my library more for books I don't own, rather than books I own on kindle 😅
Oh my goodness you got a lot of good deals. I didn't know you liked hard covers better. I have gotten so used to reading paperbacks.
I too have gotten used to reading paperbacks, but I do prefer hard covers... if only they weren't so expensive.
You have some great reading ahead of you! I loved My Phony Valentine, but I DNF"d My Lucky Charm. I keep thinking I should give it another try because lots of people have loved it. The MC just annoyed me. I have liked books I read by Toni Shiloh, but I wasn't overly excited about In Search of a Prince. So much so that I haven't read to Win a Prince yet and don't know if I will. I can't wait to read Robert Whitlow's new book and the Irene Hannon series!
I need to like the main characters to really enjoy a book.
Bridge of Gold sounds interesting!
It does.
That is something I never talk about..my kindle books. I have picked up some free ones.
I have write down all the books I acquire as I get them, this is particularly helpful for Kindle books because it's easy to forget about them.
Really liked Bridge of Gold!
Good to hear!
By chance you weren’t in Lancaster County were you? The Christian bookshop I go to here has sales just like that, shelves with 50% off paperbacks and 75% off hard covers. I love it. Great haul!
Yes in fact we were. The Christian bookstore we visited was in Schaefferstown.
@@JaneReads J.O.Y!!!I go there all the time!!! Wow!
Oops 😂 sounds like you got some good books!
Gotta make sure I have lots of options to choose from 😉
I just added We Three Kings to my list of Christmas books for this year! May I give a "don't prioritize" recommendation? I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I didn't like Toni Shiloh's In Search of a Prince. There wasn't much in the way of character growth for any of the main characters, and the relationship felt awkward and rushed to me. I also had some issues with the content (e.g. sexual sin being glossed over like it was no big deal). I'm going to give the author a second try because that was my first book by her, but it didn't leave a great impression.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Apparently I wasn't even sure what book I owned, that's how interested I am in it 😉 I'll get to it someday, and now I'll know to be cautious.
I enjoyed Behind Love's Wall, though it wasn't my favorite of that series.
Hopefully I enjoy it.
