Also, in terms of figuring out your address, go to the county fire department. They will put up a red sign with your address on it. You would probably like that anyway so they can find you really quickly. Very common in rural areas.
The post office will work also
@@BorninVirginia the post office will not come out and put an address sign up in front of your house
@@BorninVirginia The post office will not come out and put an address sign up in front of your house. But the fire department will.
Hey Eric, please come back to Illinois! We are in “severe drought“ and have only had 5 inches of rain since March 1. We are more than 8 inches below normal and it is crazy! It must be hard to think about leaving the compound. It looks phenomenal! Also, you might want to consider building yourself a wood shed. I bought plans for about $11 online and built a phenomenal shed that holds three full cords.
hahahaha are you asking him to use is bringer of rain powers? lol
He is a rain Bringer to Illinois! For sure! 😂
Arizona is a beautiful place. The sunset was beautiful. I like the idea of planting cactus. You have never been a person to sit around and do nothing. You are fixing up your place and enjoying doing it. Take care of yourself, Tara, Tig, and Opie.
Remember before you sit down and those Adirondack chairs, look to make sure that underneath the chairs they are not occupied by a snake or scorpion.
If you haven't done it yet, I would suggest foam rubber sheets in the bottom of the drawers of your tool bin. 1/4" in the upper thin drawers, and 1/2" in the bottom section.
They DON'T need cutouts for each tool, (You could, but only if your OCD about your tools) but it will make it much nicer than having the tools slide around each time you pull out the drawer, Banging and Rattling around. They will still do a little, but no where near as much as if it was on bare metal.
I don't do Instagram. . . at all ever. No go zone Eric.
Consider building a ‘barnaminum’ for the RV to pull into with stairs for an outside deck on the roof. The interior has a seating area and residential bathroom. Sleep in the RV, lounge in the living area.
I'm not against that idea!
Have you considered building an elevated platform, like a fire tower or something with a small deck? Kinda like an elevated front porch on the farm. I think that would be nice to lounge on and watch the sun sets. Keep it up, and don't worry about any haters.....they gonna hate.
Arizona has dramatically beautiful skies!
Eric, I am loving these videos. You have made so much progress on your property. Love the switch up from traveling. It’s nice to see you happy. Also can’t believe people are coming to your property! A shame you now have to make extra safety precautions each night. From Michigan, happy travels!
Try using a $9 can of Berryman b-12 before you take it to mechanic! Dump the whole can in the gas tank to clean the entire fuel system and injectors!!!!
Hi eric,
Regarding your bike., there is less air at higher altitudes......so you need to account for that.
Less air means the mixture is running too rich..you need to lean it out
Thank you for ALL the GREAT videos!!!
I'm loving the change to your channel! Half homestead half travel sounds like a winner!
Put a hotter ngk plugs in it and run sea foam threw it at a heavy mix and ride it. It will get better, it set to long and that will clean up the valves and cylinders
Nice to see another vid. Hey I hope Eric hasn't muted me. I can be a bit rough around the edges in my comments. No harm intended but still. I'm working on it. Much support for the new homestead! I like both the travel and home stuff!
I think I would add hinges to the inside of your buildings doors. Hinges on outside can be removed......??
Hey, Campulance Man uses under lights that repels vermin. He says since the install he hasn't had one yet. It's been months since I've seen that video. But he's super nice and surely he'll respond if you ask him. 👍
Eric has under lighting for all his rigs and harley.
@@TheWestlandgirl Yes, I know that. But that's normal LED. I'm not sure if that's the same type of light.
Not fair not to share, to those who don't do Instagram.
Maybe get the bike to a shop and have them check the valves, the clearance and if they are sealing properly, a leak down test would tell you a bit on the health of the engine itself.
Hey Eric I'm really proud of you man way to go for getting everything situated and I've been seeing your newest member on IG and I hope you enjoy him
Eric you seem to be happier since you got back to AZ. Congrats on the new family member.
Hey Eric, I mentioned your motorcycle issue to my brother. He is a mechanic and has had his share of diagnostics on old and new problem bikes. He said that the older motorcycles can sometimes have issues with the newer carbs and they might need adjusting to accommodate the older model. Just a suggestion. He explained it more detailed so some info might have been lost in my translation.
Beautiful sunset! Love how giddy you get over the little things. That’s how it should be!
P.s. I got my first tool chest when I turned 40 and was equally excited! 😆
Your base camp/homestead is looking great! The setting sun on the mountains is called “Alpenglow”. The al·pen·glow is the rosy light of the setting or rising sun seen on high mountains.
You are on top of the rig and see what is yours..
And your hard work.
It looks like your throttle cable is stretch out or maybe loose. I would start there first.
May just need to tighten the throttle cable. Sounds like it runs fine. But the throttle may not be engaging the throttle until it gets enough tension on it. May need to change the jetting due to higher elevation as well. Just an idea.
Try putting shiny side aluminum foil on the shed side of the KFC sign. The reflection might improve your lighting.
To fix the hesitation on Reba, check your valve/rocker arm clearances. It'll breathe better and faster.
Spark, Fuel, and compression. If you have all then it should run.
Already know about Tig from CVK. I hate that he steals your thunder.
They agreed to do that video. That's how friends and co-creators work. 🤷🏼♀️
There is no finish line as there is always something to do. I am even that way living full-time in my motorhome.
Wrong. Your list is done when you die. Then you just added to someone else's list😁
Nice sunset and showing that mountain reminds me of that rock in Australia that get red.
Will be fun to see Tig and the kitties get to know each other.
If you notice any difference in AC venting through dash or below rats can chew a vacuum line and cause this. Happened to me and a friend of mine. Might not show up immediately. Just an FYI
Its a Beautiful place! Town was much bigger than i expected..
Eric, quick word of advice. At the very least you need to add fuel stablizer to your RV gas tank. E10 starts going bad in 30 days!
Things look like they are coming along nicely. I do have one question. Throughout the time I have followed you I'm fully aware that you name everything. With that being said what's the name of base camp? I have been waiting for the name for awhile now so I can only assume you haven't nailed the right one down yet. So here's hoping we get a naming video soon.
So awesome.. im jealous..
And your such a tease... I find myself hanging out for your progress videos.. I've seen more of your upgrades, and additions through others channels.. Its fun and all.. though am not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing... it definitely feels a little strange.
I watch your shenanigans unconditionally. It is what it is..
It's just a lil frustrating.. But if I wasn't a loyal fan, then I'd probably would have checked out already...
Me, I'm here for the long haul.. I enjoy living vicariously through your vids, and following your journey.. Thankyou for being you.
All the best on your future endeavours.. :D
Eric.. put a sheet of cork in each drawer, makes a huge difference. 👍😉. Before adding your tools.
Eric build a look out tower for the beautiful sunsets and mountain views!!!
Love your place Eric!! Sunset absolutely beautiful 😄
Hey Eric, I’m an oldSign guy, about your KFC sign, your on the right track about running your led’s on the side firing in, but also you need to paint the background White, behind the sign for the best results.
Your place is really taking shape!
Last note, I can’t find Sholo? On my road Atlas. Just curious about where it is. We go to Sedona in October, is it far from there?
Cheers! You and the Kids be Well!👍🤙
Show Low is how it's spelled. Encompasses Hwy 60, AZ260, AZ77. 😀
Those new carbs need to be adjusted correctly. They should have idle screws to set correctly then the response will come back. Fun looking bike! Glad it's running again!
If you add 50% peanut butter and 50 % baking soda and Stir it up and set it out on your property. It will kill the rats, the mice a lot an insect, but won't hurt your cat or dog.😊
I moved back to Northern Arizona two and a half years ago and I’ll bet I’ve taken a couple thousand pictures of Sunsets and Sunrises, Oh and some Snow shots too. I’ve lived in both Southern and Northern California as well as Las Vegas and Arizona Sunsets are pretty hard to beat!!😎
You should of bought a grill put together already save time and grill sooner. Those chairs are so comfortable but don't leave them in the sun it will ruin them. Been here in AZ for 28 years and you have to adapt to the summer and winters here. I live in Phoenix so I have to adapt to the heat and you will have to deal with the winters. Good luck with everything.
Beautiful property Eric!
Maybe or not...check the jets? higher elevation?
What a beautiful camp. I'm enjoying this. Thank you.
You know what be really cool, is having a watch tower.
Love the camp and glad you’re loving it too! Give the bike 1/2 can of Seafoam and ride around a good 20+ miles!
Hey Eric!! Where's the Pup? What a Cutie..
Anyhow, pickup some indoor/outdoor carpet to line your toolbox drawers. It works great!! Nice place you got going. Hopefully you'll still take us on some travels but I'm sure it's nice to have a Home Base, he safe out there.
Meow meow woof woof Tara Opie and Tig. Be safe have fun Eric.
When you own property the finish line keeps moving! Love the videos
That BBQ is just like the one I have. I've had it for several years. Nice toolbox
Water company has the address also.
You to need to buy a large air of Binoculars for three reasons, Birding, Astronomy and plain sightseeing.
And animal sightings wanted or unwanted
Welcome to Arizona 🌴 🌵 🌞. I'm happy you love it here. There's no place, I can think of, that I'd rather be.
we need more cats!
Actually what you need is a Jack Russell Terrier
Your place is looking great and homeownership is different than camping on the road. You’ll always have projects when you’re home it’s fun and I’m sure walking from your RV to your blue shed you could find a dozen things to do. Have you ever thought of doing an Amazon page all the cool things you have there your battery operated lights and what have you maybe you’re in a couple extra bucks just a thought wishing you the best
Nice tool box, congrats.
The homestead is coming along nicely. Don
Good going. Love it all.
I'm sorry, I forgot you even use to travel. Ha!
Your sign needs white background for the LEDs to reflect off of inside
I love seeing you happy! Enjoy every minute of your adventure! ❤
I always laugh that you named your trailer. It's so odd that it's funny
Maybe you should state that you are in the high desert of north eastern Arizona. Not the same temps, plant life or elevation as Phoenix or Tucson.
Great video thank you!
I RECOMMENDED Liquid IV to help with high elevation symptoms
Ugh! We have packrats in Northern AZ and they cause a lot of damage. Good to hear they didn’t chew wires. That’s what I thought it was.
YOU SEEM EXTREMELY HAPPY
👋 Hi Eric. In case you don't have one, there's a loyalty card from Maverick called a Nitro card you connect to your bank like a debit card. Saves at least 10 cents a gallon. Couple times I got 30 and 40 cents respectively as they price match. And... it earns rewards for things like drinks, food, cash cards good at the Maverik. I travel fairly often to Utah and lived there a hot minute in 2022. Pretty handy. Good discount and.. theres even one in Wickenberg and Kingman. We can all use a good discount.
I'm sure you know this or have been told already, but at higher elevation vehicles do not work properly unless you adjust jet the carb every 2000 ft or so. EVEN FUEL INJECTION so ask your mechanic buddies about it and see what they say. If you notice engine issues that is likely the case, I had to do this for my motorcycle when I worked in the mountains.
I'm exhausted just watching you do all that stuff today !!!
Thank you Eric for sharing another awesome video
You might want to ask someone in the post office how to fix address issue ..or someone in county planning department.?
you need to do some regular exercise to increase your speed of adaptation to the altitude
Long day driving round doing errands wears me out more than hard physical work all day 😄😴
Your property is beautiful.
Where do you put the puppy in the rv when running errands?
I’ve watched your videos and always give a thumbs up, watching videos at your new place has me me want to comment😀 really like what your doing with the place and your smiling so much more now. Can’t wait to see more!! Thanks for sharing with us
Washington State now has the highest gas prices in the nation. Where I live, the town where you knocked your tooth out, it’s $5.29 a gallon today.
Definitely need to build a deck on top of babe the blue box.
It's that junk Carb you bought! Great Video!
Beautiful Sunset! There is always spectacular Sunset in the desert (I see them in Nevada, where I live). I kill plants too. 😅 I ❤️ love the way you fixed your blue box, with your collections!!! I would never invade your privacy, but could I please have your P. O. Box, to send you some Mickey stuff. ❤️🤗❤️ love to you and the furry kids. 🥰
Dear Eric nomadic fanatic I was thinking maybe you might want to put a camera on the top of your so that you could show so people could actually look at at those sunsets from another vantage point like you used to do by putting out you know one of them time-lapse cameras long time ago maybe you might want you don't from the top of the RV so that we could take a look at the sunset as it goes down your friend John Chalker Waterbury Connecticut CC 🙏🙏👼👼🪔🪔🎩🎩🥾🥾🤠🤠😻😻🐕🐕❤️❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲
They're probably paving. That road looks like it needs it.
Love ya , always happy and setting up camp . Energy RABBIT for sure . Happy , happy , happy.
Thanks for your view of paradise I know your is something that meads to be done all of the time out their
Pigeon Forge, TN gas yesterday lowest I saw is $2.82....Nice!
I like your exploration of the Homestead area - makes for cool videos.
Pegboard & hooks will have your tool shed organized in no time.
Does the timing maybe need to be set up on it maybe Advance the timing
Add a bark along with your cat's meow in your intro.
Your bike runs fine. Your throttle has issues
Nice load.
You have a really nice base there in AZ. Good choice in what you did to secure the property, and when you did it. So excited for you as you continue to build up your home! PS - if you keep smiling so much, I think you'll crack your face. LOL
Thanks 👍
Very good and see you on the next one.
Maybe you need to get some of those bucket mouse traps to get rid of those buggers!
😂 it will be continuous always something you will want to do or change but that is the good part of having your own it just gets better just enjoy no hurry. Lots of rewards. Stay safe and enjoy.
