I live in New Orleans, its always a chance if the people will be nice that day or absolute jerks. When I was like 10 some jack ass pushed me in to the street in front of a car in the French Quarter.

Wrinkle the Duck is by far one of my favorite pets of all time on RUclips. She looked so adorable in all the little costumes you bought her! I've been to New Orleans twice and I was never fortunate enough to run in someone with a pet duck. Loved all the attention, and petting that she received from all the people. It's really warm in New Orleans right now. See how Wrinkle is panting? She's cooling herself off. I used to have pet geese. They did the same thing in summer when they got hot. Human make sure to give Wrinkle plenty of sippy-sippys and plenty of shade.
Maybe Wrinkle sweats trough its feet ?
@@totti. no sweetie. Through her skin that's covered with feathers. That's why she's panting.
Ducks don't sweat at all. They don't have sweat or sebaceous glands. Feet are actually important [as well as having plenty of water & shade as mentioned,] in regulating the temperature of ducks. Of course, since it is an evaporative cooling mechanism it would likely be worse when they are on concrete/asphalt that is under the sun if the little shoe things weren't on. But, having them on does diminish her ability to cool off.
If I remember correctly he made those shoes himself so my suggestion would be to both look into getting some different material to make them out of [though it will not be the same sort of material human clothing which is good for staying cool is made out of because those materials work via mechanisms involving our sweat which she doesn't have.] It would need to be something that is lighter so it doesn't retain heat as much. Another suggestion would be to make a number of holes on the top parts of the shoes to allow the evaporative heat process to function. This would still protect the bottom of her feet from the ground, which as I mentioned is likely a good thing when on concrete/asphalt outdoors as they get pretty hot so would in fact increase her internal temperature. Or have the shoes made from a material that is mesh-like or maybe like mesh stitch knitted or crochet shoes using a dense, relatively thick yarn made out of cotton, linen, bamboo, or rayon. Probably one of those blended with nylon to increase their durability. Depending on the skill of the person who would make it it would be possible to use a somewhat less dense & less thick yarn if they could make the bottom of the shoes a tighter mesh with the top of them being looser.
