For normal people, GVC may be a good thing, but i personally like a more direct connection to my car. Making tiny corrections to the throttle and steering when the car is on the limit gives me the best feeling. Like torque vectoring on some cars, it just feels unpredictable and artificial when driven hard.
I have a 2018 Mazda 3 equipped with GVC. I tried turning off the Traction control/ Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) while driving a few days ago. Not sure if it's a placebo or not, but the car feels more direct and fun to drive at just regular speeds without pushing the car's limits. It's response doesn't feel as "filtered". Did quite a bit of reading up on Traction Control and Dynamic Stability Control. And these systems shouldn't kick in unless it's on a slippery road or I'm really pushing the car to its limits while cornering. Then it occurred to me, it could be possible that when I turn off DSC, it is also turning off GVC. Maybe that's why the car feels more raw and direct. Or it could just be a placebo.
Im fan now of these guys

I feel the same way. Have you had experience with GVC so far?

Old post. But, I feel the same way i turn off stability and put it in manual and it feels like a different car. Feels great.
Same. But honestly that’s a good thing that you really can’t tell when it’s off.
G vectoring only available 2.5L variants?. how about 2.2L diesel variant?.
What year models are these cars you should put these in the title
does this obvious efect same with the mazda3 too?
Good effort but cringy nonetheless
