Styling A Trench Coat

A casual spring ensemble.
I was waiting to pick out a trench coat when I found myself in London-and so I did. It was great timing as spring is at full swing and a trench coat is perfect for the season.
I could go with all black or muted neutrals underneath, but I’m feeling a stronger contrast against the beige trench coat. White pants always have a bigger impact to brighten up a look than a white shirt. And they are the perfect choice for warmer weather.
To dress the trench coat down a bit with a sportier vibe, I opted for classic GATs with a gum sole to continue the white from the trousers but stay connected with the trench coat.
It’s a perfect weekend look for daytime activities (playgrounds with the kids for me).
