Even the guy working the keyboard is like, “ how am I gonna get the beat for this?” 😂
I was sweating for the man 😆
He killed it though
@@marys4038 100%
It's kinda similar to Thrift Shop, but that's the point of a good parody
Kinda shows how good Ryan Lewis is TBH, but he pulled it off.
"I mean, good luck Aaron" then proceeds to nail it effortlessly.
Nah, I didn’t like it tbh compared to his other ones.
@@ShadowMonarch6000 agreed, he missed hard with this one
@@ARandomEliatrope I mean try and come up with a song on the spot with a tune you’ve never heard and make sound good
Just cut him some slack
@@ARandomEliatrope I'd like to see you try to make up a rap like that on the spot
@@dadudesegura9053 you only watch these via the shorts dont you
that mercury rising line is genius omg
E
Im not the smartest person but im assuming its to do with the fact that Mercury used to be used in Thermometers so the mercury rising means the temperature is
@@lilithhenderson yes
@@EEEEEEEE E
@@lilithhenderson you’re trans
The mercury thermometer line actually threw me when I first heard it 🔥
Commenting so you see how many likes you got
Jesus loves you!
It’s a double whammy because mercury levels are markedly higher in many rivers around the world. Another indirect effect of climate change (global warming).
its also has double meaning in the sense that mercury levels are rising in our food due to pollution
@@awesome346 I know, but a lot of his superfans sure don't
Dang, this new Macklemore album gonna take over the Grammy's again
Kendrick been very quiet since this dropped
Damnnnn, my boy Kendrick bouta get 2-0d, 😭😭😭😭
Gon beat Mr.Morale and the big steppers😭
They really said "Let's make Ross freestyle" and he killed it.
He chose the prompt himself
This is incredibly impressive lol; imitating Macklemore’s style is so difficult and oh my gosh this was so well done lol
For real! He perfectly pulled that super specific dialect and tone out of freakin nowhere lol
Macklemore is a horrible rapper lol it easy to imitate
@@samplename8721 no :)
He must be a super fan
yeah it is hard to imitate someone that no one remembers since 2013 from ONE SONG people MAYBE know of…. god you sound like a pathetic fanboy who knows everything about an artist no one cares about 😂😂😂😂
If Lin Manuel-Miranda wrote a musical about science instead of history
Omg I'd pay to see this 😂
That what I thought too! he sounds way more like Lin than macklemore
Lin Manuel miranda, Bill Nye and Hank Green collabing for the 5 scene musical of a lifetime
@@kaila-denzenhughes4130 I would pay to see that.
@@kaila-denzenhughes4130 Bring VSauce in for more questions than answers
You really have to know Macklemore deep cuts to bring out the "Seattle whose with me? Pacific Northwest stand up!"
Naw, that's basics; Macklemore would have been telling us to trade in our Honda Civics for Orca passes 😅
Everyone knows he’s from Seattle…
@@rivergreen1727orca cards are cool
@@rivergreen1727orca passes rock. They would rock even more if they were free

It's fascinating how these improvised songs are even better than most carefully made songs out there.
GODDAMMIT
A lot of "carefully made songs" are written in exactly the same way, especially rap
Not really improvised
@@thepalindromeadept9596 how so?
If it’s written then it’s not “improvised”
I love everyone’s shift from giggling at the intro to “hold up this is actually fire…”
Just like the subject of the song
I mean everyone at CollegeHumor is great at improv but these songs are just something else.
I can’t get over these songs! Incredible!
E
I love how this group specifically cheered each other on and reacted to the others. So supportive! Part of why I love coming back to this show is just the vibes between the contestants are so wholesome and that makes me happy😊
These are so sweet. I would jam out to this unironicly
Okay that line “didn’t you know, we gave you warning” gave me chills
Yeah I was like why are there tears in my eyes rn
This is by far the best Game Changer episode I have ever seen, with the fire beat from Aaron and the incredible lyrics from the contestants!
HUGE props to Aaron tbh. Good beat there.
This freestyle actually gave off a lot of Atmosphere vibes, ironically fitting name
THANK YOU!!!
Yeah, very Atmosphere Macklemore colab
Why are these songs always surprisingly good
This was one of my favorite episodes.
Some of my favorites were:
• To-do list
• Story of Sisyphus
• Eye Candy
• Party Hardy Har
• #globalwarming
Absolutely loved this episode
I thought he was gonna give a Cambridge, Massachusetts shoutout, that would've been gold 🤣
amazing improv. seriously impressed at their improv skill.
That's really impressive, not just the imitation of the style but the simple quick thinking of his freestyling
Bruh, no one should be this talented
This actually goes so so incredibly hard, we need these musical shorts uploaded on streaming services 😂
this episode giving birth to crazy bangers
And then he says "Ok, I've finished my warm up.."
The songs are all soo good
I need to see more of Sam dancing, I believe it makes the world a better place everytime he puts his hands in the air.
The more I watch the music challenges, the more I'm like, "Why aren't they compiling these into an album?"
They have done. It’s called Karaoke Night Digital Album.
On one hand you have Brennan and his incredible monologues from outta space. And then you have all these guys who can sing (those three but also the crew from "mountport") and the guy doing the instrumentals and it's just, whoosh, another level all together.
"Hash tag global warming, don't you know we gave you warning?" Is somehow simultaneously a flawless macklemore and rage against the machine hook.
He did the best anybody could. If he had ten minutes he could’ve written song of the year.
When he said the first "We gave you a warning" he *spat* and his spit just *flew*
This is incredible. There’s something so deeply satisfying and amusing about the overlap of high caliber improv and music.
This needs to be a full-length song, on god…
This is my favourite GameChanger series. That is wild, because I love them all so much.
HE HAS TO RELAX WHY IS HE SO GOOD
Make a fucking album with full songs! Come the fuck on! The audience is right hereeeeeeee
I can't get over the handmovements😂
"PaCiFiC nOrThWeSt, StAnD uP🙏🙏🙏🙏" got me dead💀
Half the fun is watching how excited Sam gets!
Sam, I'm so glad you found your Happy Place and that you share it with us!
Off the CUFF!? are you kidding meeee!
I'll be honest, never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to see someone capable of musically out-improvising Zach Reino, who let's face it is an undisputed master of the genre, but damn Ross absolutely knocked it out of the park in this episode. Don't get me wrong, Zach was superb as always, and the lady whose name escapes me was also utterly excellent, but Ross was up there improvising like his life depended on it.
The spit that pours outta his mouth near the end when he says "we gave you warning"..
Dude is literally spittin it'.
Edit: Made a damn typo.
@Eye No! Bad!
The mercury rising line goes SO hard. Now I just wanna see a full version of this song!
Since I don't listen to music, when I first heard this I thought it was an actual song because of how on the fly they think of the lines and how cleanly it fits
If you’re ever doubting that we live in a dystopia, go back to the 1920’s and try to explain this video to them.
Ross is top class. And Aaron always seems to bring the beat no problem.
Wow! I mean, really wow, this is just too good for a throw-in, and who knew Aaron would have it in him! I'm amazed 🤩
Macklemore has been real quiet since this dropped
okay I was prepared to laugh along with a train wreck and this was actually REALLY good! there have been insightful rhymes on the fly from all 3 of them and I love this show/ format.
why di this give me actual goosebumps? does this actually slap?
The hand movements are KILLING ME
RIP those ivories.. hell yeah buddy. Not all heroes wear capes.
Bro was spitting straight fire
Hes so damn talented, he crushes it every time.
Imagine being this talented
Ross honestly never stops amazing me with his on the spot freestyles and improv!
Dude, he killed it so hard here
These guests are always so talented, it’s crazy!
I mean off the cuff like that was pretty good. Ngl.
This was such a difficult prompt, but they did a great job
Someone should make a song compilation for this show because the stuff they pull out of their ass is legit really good!
Anytime Seattle gets mentioned I get exited cuz I’m from there and it brings me great joy knowing I’m from the same place as Macklemore
You can see his gears turning the first few lines then he just starts flowing
That was just actually good lol
Okay but actually though this is impressive
I'm so glad these are coming out as shorts, I loved this ep!
Thats. Actually a powerful message.
The delivery of the Mercury line was spot on.
Ross needs to join Free Style Supreme as a guest or join the team 😭❤️ he's so good at impromptu in every vid!
Ross always gets down with the music challenge. Especially impressed by his impromptu song writing skills. He must cut a record. Side A opens with the Tom Waits Sisyphus tune...
This is pretty dope. These guys should.mame an album.
the made up karaoke ones are better than almost all the other challenges in this series
Feels like a cross between Macklemore and the FloBots
Flobots is a name I haven't thought of in years
@@Cyzs66 same 😂 but the flow of it sounded similar, plus the flobots were always activists so they 100% would write a song about climate change (and maybe already did for all I know).
This was fire for something he made in less than a minute 👏👏
Okay but yes. I need this on Spotify please and thanks.
Sam said they won’t put the songs on Spotify, because when they did that for Welcome to Mountport, their own video clips started getting DMCA’d. Instead, they released the songs from this episode for download on the Dropout store.
@@Marz1200 DMCA’d?
@@sweetsandcharades8383 Basically the copyright violation detecting algorithm flagged their own videos for violating copyright and prevented them from posting clips from the episode.
@@Marz1200 ah, thanks! But what a bummer.
I will never understand how anyone can just come up with something like that right on the spot! I wish I could do stuff like that.
Idk if i'm the only who feels this way but... Ross's nerdy looks rapping and throwing arms like a tube man kinda does something to me... 😂
How freaking talented is this dude
The way he milli rocks every line 😭😭
Not out of breath enough to be Macklemore. 😂 It’s still amazing!
I love it when Sam gets excited
This sounds like something I’d write while having a mental breakdown at 2AM
Mad props, these Gamechanger clips never miss!
When I was 3 years old I thought I was global warming.
we need a full version fr, WHO'S WITH ME
That was actually insane wow.
His improv skills never fail to impress me.
What they do is really magic
This was so talented omg
Ross has been tickling my insides with his poetry since his Macbeth-Mcdonalds monologue
“#globalwarming, Didn’t we give ya warning”
Has no business hitting this hard
Ross is up to the level of improv as Brennan is when he comes up with a monologue
He missed a line with "Pacific ocean rise up"
Ross is so fucking talented it’s scary.
Man was spitting bars 😂😂😂
Actually a savage he always nails the music stuff
