@@TreatsOnTheStreets yup, and I'm gonna' watch every single one! P.s:- (imho) the e36 looks much better with a wing, not a huge ugly one; tiny subtle one like the E36 M3 is quintessential.
I've grown up with an e36 325i in my family since before I was born and it's the car I learned to drive in. I love that thing so much. Hoping to get an m3 one day.
I'm with you, I dig the 80s/90s boxy styling, it looks super retro, which I really like. Also, 240hp isn't bad at all for a somewhat lightweight car with a torquey engine. The Fox Body Mustangs had about the same power and no one complained that they weren't fast enough lol. I also like the S52; it sounds great, it's buttery smooth, and it has punch pretty much everywhere along the power band.
+Treats On The Streets lol, you too! It’s also worth mentioning that the Euro spec engine is harder and more expensive to maintain due to the dual Vanos. So maybe the power bump isn’t worth the hassle on an older vehicle.
Great video man! I so glad you mention that the s52 is still a great motor. I grow very tired of the hate it gets in general and typically its by individuals who haven't driven a sorted one or driven one at all. Glad to see you back on the grind and congrats on hitting 3k! Just about hit 1k myself LOL
This channel has so much potential! Start cranking out videos more consistently and I see you getting more and more attention. Utah is so beautiful! I'm attending U state pretty soon and I'm stoked!
+Grant Heinig thanks man I appreciate it! Hopefully soon when the sun doesn't do down so soon I'll be able to film more. I definitely am with you on Utah being beautiful. I think you're going to love it! Welcome to the state soon man!
Been watching your videos for over a few months now, keep up the great work, I can’t wait to work on my M3 come spring, been sitting for about 3 years and I’m ready to unleash the beast!
Treats On The Streets hell yeah man, I’m glad I’m subscribed to your channel, you gave me a lot of ideas on what I should do maintenance and mod wise, just keep the videos coming!
Treats On The Streets the way they work as far as I know is you just pull the handle and hold it for a little bit, my interior lights light up indicating they are on, melts the ice if there is any and door unlocks just fine
+Anatoliy Barzul nice! I like hearing about higher mileage ones. They really do last forever if you maintain them right. I met a guy with over 300k on the original motor and trans. No problems besides the usual vanos rebuilds.
haha I made a video that was uploaded earlier today about bmw hidden features. I ALMOST put that into the video but ended up not. Cool feature for sure! Thanks for watching!
My car has the Dinan exhaust. I like the sound a lot, but I wouldn't have bought it myself because the cost is high. Luckily it was already on the car when I bought it. You pay for the name when you buy exhaust systems. My suggestion is to find an experienced muffler shop with a solid reputation and have them fabricate on for you. You can tell them what kind of sound you want (rasp, no rasp, deep or high tone, etc) and they can build a high quality system for hundreds cheaper than a pre-made brand name exhaust.
What’s up man. I live in Utah myself, just down a little south in Utah county. Love your vids. I have a 98 m3 coupe estoril blue. What kind of exhaust do you have? Sounds deeper than stock...
+Scotty Ryan oh nice! I go down there from time to time. I love estoril blue. Was looking for one when I bought mine but couldn't find one. It's the Dinan exhaust. Thanks for watching man!
Is a 1995 with the euro headlight swap newer steering wheel worth it? It has 150k miles in Mint condition with Vader seats in good condition and it’s Manuel coupe
Great video man I love it! I am new subscriber can I ask you something I look to buy this tape of car but I don't know is this car good for long trip I travel sometimes and I need fun car when I travel I am from Germany and sorry for my English if something wrong and tnx for answer :)
Awesome man I love estoril blue. I wanted one that color but couldn't find one. A car in the US with the mileage (71,000) and condition of mine usually goes for about 15k USD. I found mine for a steal and only paid 12k.
Yes estoril blue M3 is my absolute dreamcar since childhood. Wow, that's a hell of a Deal. I bought mine with 170k miles, but fully restored in nearly brand new conditions (even ALL rubber seals have been replaced) for 23k €.
+theo christensen keep an eye out for the next upload. I have been getting that question a lot so I'm going to go over all the details and where you can buy them. 👍
My E-36 is Topps. Everyone loves the story of when the plain girl gets dressed up and goes to prom. Then and only then, you realize just what you have missed.
I prefer the look of the E36 over the E46 as well. The E36 looks masculine. All the cars are round today and hard to tell apart. IMO the E46 looks more feminine and shorter. I will say the black door guards and orange lights make the car look more dated. Those were 80s styles. The M3 looks good if you black out the grill but since I have a 328IC (more luxury than speed) I like the chrome. I deleted all the orange lights and next I plan to paint the trim silver to match the rest of the car. These things make the E36 look more modern.
+Jonathan MBoost I change the fluid frequently, and I bought the car to drive it hard. Thanks for the heads up, but if it breaks it breaks and it will just give me a reason to build a better one haha.
Is your e46 an M3? If so they use a 210mm ring gear meaning its bigger and takes more abuse. As for U.S spec e36 M3 and other BMW 3 series cars they use a 188mm rear end. Its not as strong and does not like to be shocked at all. I have personally broke 2 rear ends in my e36 m3 when it was stock. I am boosted and make around 500whp now but i know not to dump the clutch cause thats what breaks them and my diff is lasting. If you load them up easy like slipping the clutch a little as they do in drag racing, it should be fine. Side stepping the clutch isnt the correct way to launch or even do a burn out. Release is fast but controlled.
I like just the sound of the exaust but in side it looks a old car so i hope one to get that car and make it luxe and i want a turbo in it and more steering angle and black windows dont to and a sick spioler and skirts and bumpers because i want to driftv at a circuit and a lot of good speakers
Treats On The Streets medium case LSDs are hard to come by here in New Zealand, our M3s are euro spec which have the large case diffs. I think US M3s use a medium case? Same as the 325 and 328 so would be a direct swap!
+Jason I believe you're right, you just have to make sure the driveshaft has the same bolt holes to match the diff. There are 4 or 6. You can find the US m3 diffs on eBay for usually around $300-$350
The number 1 should be: BMW recently have lost their marbles, they are building hideous cars with horrendous front grills, fake sound that pops and bang, lately they have rolled out four cylinders, yuk. Old BMW are the future and my e86 Si is a keeper when compare to the sewage that Munich are churning out.
*Oh no...*
I'm addicted to watching E36 videos...
Haha you will find plenty of those on this channel.

just how happy you look making this video about it has sold me.

I owned an e36 328is for 5 years and I loved it. Couldn't agree more. Currently have an e46 ZHP that I'm enjoying.

+Bimmer Dude oh yeah. Anyone who hates it really hasn't experienced a proper one. They're great! Congrats on creeping up to 1k!
I fully agree! Though there is one advantage of the hate, it has helped keep the prices down.
E46 will forever be my favorite

How about our glowing wand (shift knob)? Still today I get compliments specifically for that feature
That is a pretty cool feature!
Great video as always! Keep it commin!
Looking forward to get an E36 M3 someday. :)
thanks man! Thanks for coming back for another video!
Great insight and spreading the word on the e36 m3. Looking forward for your next videos
+Mazda Rx7 FD 1993 thanks for the support!
The best wheels for the E36 !
Shame you Americans didn't get a real E36 M3, and only a slightly tuned 328i. The UK spec was a proper M engine.
My dream E36..
+Виктор Г. 👍👌✌
Also most people don’t know but some e36 m3’s came with heated door locks, they work perfect and still haven’t let me down during cold winters
+Anatoliy Barzul wow that's really cool!
Treats On The Streets the way they work as far as I know is you just pull the handle and hold it for a little bit, my interior lights light up indicating they are on, melts the ice if there is any and door unlocks just fine
It’s awesome that you enjoy this car mine just hit 222k miles and runs very well, you should be set with your mileage👍

Anatoliy Barzul my e36 m3 convertible had heated door locks worked great till the door handle broke and couldn't find another heated on
E36 ❤️
Lovely car. Running a golf r32 myself.
Love the sound of the r32
RIP parking lot lol! Nice M3 btw!
God I miss those Vader seats. I wish I could swap them into my 135i
Gavin your M3 is beautiful man. I need to get an E36. Just subbed.
+br00ks thanks man! Welcome to the channel 👍.
I like the way you think man it’s sick
Why does no one ever bring up the windshield wipers slowing down when you come to a stop.
haha I made a video that was uploaded earlier today about bmw hidden features. I ALMOST put that into the video but ended up not. Cool feature for sure! Thanks for watching!
Treats On The Streets I saw that and I can't wait to use the digital speedo
How is your 6 speed swap going? I own e36 m3 seens 2006.
+Pavel Penkov oh nice! I'm just accumulating parts little by little! Hopefully it won't take too much longer.
great video dude. What exhaust manufacturers would you recommend for a 6 cylinder e36? 325i in my case.

Seeing this video makes me miss my M3 haha
+M3 enthusiast haha you must have enjoyed it!
Alex Zaragoza what are you driving now ?
Great vid 👍🏼
Thanks man!
Are they stock headlights with halo's dropped in or did you buy new headlights?
New headlights. DEPO glass lens headlights with LED angel eyes

Welcome to the channel! If you find one in good condition they can be great for long trips! The engines last a long time.
How much was your M3 in the US? I bought mine here in Germany three weeks ago, totally restored, 3.2l in estoril blue :)

Do you have the imported version?
Mine is US Spec
@6:27 and 323s EH HEM
We exist too
haha thanks for the correction, sorry about that!
What kind of halos do you have?

Did u knew treats on the street that u have automatic safety windows
+Pavel Penkov yep haha I tested them on my hand.
i ❤ E36 coz its mostly analog, and mechanical...
+Stanley Godspeed 👍 makes it a fun car!
Treats On The Streets indeed i drive E36 1995...and its awesome...thanks for DIY video you make...keep in good work man

Thank God you didn't get a brz or frs they are slow as balls the bimmer beats them all even Nissan 350z
Definitely happy with the m3
i see you everywhere!
Your diff isnt gonna last if you keep dumping it in first like that. Just a foreshadowing from experience.
+Jonathan MBoost I change the fluid frequently, and I bought the car to drive it hard. Thanks for the heads up, but if it breaks it breaks and it will just give me a reason to build a better one haha.
Jonathan MBoost same for e46?
I personally have never seen one go out. Even in boosted applications. If they do, a used one is only like $350 bucks.
Is your e46 an M3? If so they use a 210mm ring gear meaning its bigger and takes more abuse. As for U.S spec e36 M3 and other BMW 3 series cars they use a 188mm rear end. The cdv mitigates some of the shock in the e36 if you haven't removed it.
automatic up & down windows.. really?! is that a feature worth to mention even in 99?
Many cars even today don't have the one touch automatic up and down. Especially on the passengers side as well. I didn't mean power windows lol.
I like just the sound of the exaust but in side it looks a old car so i hope one to get that car and make it luxe and i want a turbo in it and more steering angle and black windows dont to and a sick spioler and skirts and bumpers because i want to driftv at a circuit and a lot of good speakers

+Jason haha. Good thing is you can swap in an m3 diff for pretty cheap!

+Jason geez that's a lot!
If you put a turbo on that S52 it will sound like a Supra...
Better than a supra 👍😉
more movies
+e36320is I've got more coming!
2:15 Turbo????? M3 has a NA enegine
+Darko Hugo at 2:15 I don't say anything about a turbo. Only mention I give of a turbo is that the s52 is a good engine to add boost to.
the rarity? well you should visit eastern europe. everybody drives this car.
Haha I'm sure every market is different. Here in the US it is a different story.

1 thing to hate about your e36 m3: not euro spec
EliteJovenAgent: Keep that hate shit to yourself
1thing I hate about you : you’re 14 and you don’t have a car lol
Euro specs are also more costly to maintain
