- In this video, I talk about who I think would be cast on a season of Survivor: Rivals, a Blood vs. Water-style season where the cast is comprised of pairs that had contentious relationships on a previous season.
The only reason i want a Rivals season is to see more of Courtney making fun of Jean Robert

I would personally rather see Jay and Michaela over Jay and Adam
From watching MvGx, Adam wasn't a good or strategical player, especially against Michaela
YASS I WAS LIKE I NEED QUEEN MICHAELA. I also think this cast is tooo...boring? Like, we need some Debbie, Michaela, Reem and Wardog in our casts xddd

According to Russel Hantz’s podcast he got called for season 40 but was cut because of the theme. Lex said the same thing happened to him on Brandon Hantz’s podcast
Dom and Chris Noble. Haven't watched the video yet but that's the one that matters.
I think it’s starting to sink in just how many people have rivalries with Penner
Owen Gette Penney was a rival of pretty much the entire cast of Cook Islands, at least the people who made the merge

Shambo doesn't want to play again
Shambo doesn't want to play, but even then, Laura isn't really a likely returnee (Even though personally, I'd really like to see her play again). She was only on BvW really because of Ciera.

A lot of the ppl on this cast won't return so idk
Not realistic though because a lot of these players wouldn’t want to play again, or play with their rival.

We need Survivor “alternate history” cast next! Focuses on players that made big plays that barely missed or who were screwed by random/unknown elements like tribe swaps or advantages!

Ghost Island returnee season
Fans vs Favorites 3 with people from 26 onward
Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty returnee season
David vs Goliath returnee season
People who were robbed by twists/advantages
A bunch of random no names who had potential but aren't remembered
Recast FvF2
I think Erik and Natalie Bolton would work great. Natalie was involved in the immunity necklace moment and I don’t think anyone is against a return for her or Erik
Idk how big rivals they are but I’d like to see Natalie back

Some Survivor videos I think would be cool to see:
01) International All-Stars Season Casting Video- based on Australian Survivor (since the US would never do this) with three tribes of 8 for each of the ongoing English language franchises (US vs Australia vs South Africa).
02) Whose the Best Player from Each Season- basically, if this player made it to FTC (if they hadn't) who would you vote for over every other person on their season. For both US and international.
03) How to Improve or Revitalize Every Twist and Theme- Pretty self-explanatory
04) Survivor Final Chance Casting Vid- Made up of a cast of people who played multiple times (or last played a long time ago) based on the premise that this is their last chance at the million, and if they don't win, they can never play again.
I think those are some good ideas especially number 2. I think in seasons like HvV and Nicaragua that would be a cool conversation.
Lex was going to go on 40 before it was all winners so he’s willing to go back!

One rivalry you left off that should at least be mentioned phil and Malcolm. All the work and idols Malcolm and trio did just to get phil out.
You keep saying russel will never be back, but jeff has said that he would bring Russel back in the right situation. Russel has also said he is willing to come back too. My question would be why do you keep saying this.

You should do a casting video for a concept of something like "Screwed Survivors" basically people who went home because of twists/fire making/ rock draws. People like Paschal , Katie Collins, Jessica Lewis, Michelle Yi, Silas Gaither, and Anna Khait are a few locks (assuming they all want to come back)

Before they decided on winners at war it was supposed to be legends where it was an idea they tossed around and Russell Hantz said he got a call I think he’s going back out there one day

What about a David vs. Goliath all returning season where the Davids are all pre merge boots, while Goliaths are those that reached final 3 but lost.

The question i've always had for a rival season is would it be like BvW and SJDS where the pairs are separated? or would we have 5 pairs united on each tribe? I definitely feel like the latter idea would make for more interesting TV, but the stakes would be lower going into the merge.
I think they would have to start out together, otherwise we would see many of these rivals not even interact with each other.
True, I think they'd have to be together or like only a few rivals would even interact once merge hits, so then the twist would be pointless.
When was Cagayan called Caramoan?

You forgot to mention Joel and Mikey B in Mocronesia. I think that was the biggest rivalry from that season and one of the bigger rivalries in Survivor history

If Karishma and Missy played again together, I think they would definitely make up and have an alliance. Who knows though? Also, if you are going to have a rivals season, you have to have them play on the same tribe. Otherwise what is the point ?

Personally, I don't know what Ben has said after WaW but the amount of negativity he received I don't think he'll want to return, also I'd much rather have either Jay/Michaela or Michaela/Figgy instead of Jay/Adam.
