@@termikes174 yes, I understand that. What I'm saying is that the sound is new. You'll never find anything as technical as this is in 90s punk. Maybe Lagwagon's second album or maybe Rock n Roll Nightmare, but even then this is miles and miles ahead of that.

Totally agreed. Thought I just must be getting old and the newer stuff just didn’t connect with me much anymore, but hearing really good riffs and speed like this reignites the love for just ‘good music’.
Has a little Satanic Surfers type of sound to it, which makes me love it more.
I agree too. So much new skate punk seems to be all about speed and shred and ignores song writing (the most important aspect in my opinion). Long live Cigar!

I didn't check the name when I clicked on the notification, not even when I pressed play. And by the appearance I had no idea who they were. I heard the first guitar riff and the drums and it took me approximtely 1.5 seconds to know it was cigar.

I am 40 and as a Musician i play and listen differents styles of Music, but Cigar and their album 'Speed is Relative' always had a special place in my playlists (and in my heart hehe), and because of this song recently today i found out that they released their second album last year. This album is a fucking diamond and this song blew my mind. By the way, they have 2 profiles on Spotify, one is not the oficial one where 'Speed is relative' is uploaded and the other is the official one where this Album is uploaded.

Speed is relative was my favorite album i am so glad that they cane back in the scene it bring back so much memories and hopefuly were gonna assist at a big punk comeback
Fucking been waiting for another album since I discovered Speed Is Relative back in 03. Seriously one of the most underrated bands, and bassist, in punk. Fuck the guy that took your shit and stole your laundry basket!

I really liked this track. Besides having your own signature sound I could hear some similarities to Satanic Surfer's album Hero Of Our Time and 80s Crossover.
It reminds me more of the later Satanic Surfers releases, 666 Motor Inn and Going Nowhere Fast, Hero Of Our Time was way more straightforward SoCal style punk
