- Cigar barely played a set at 1999 San Diego Warped tour. Fletcher Dragge from Pennywise threatened people to get CigaR on the bill. Once they got to the stage the stage MGR had given their time to another band. This got ugly. Finally after a lot of screaming in faces Cigar hit the stage for for 5 blazing sings without stopping.

Jason brought so much to the band with his jazz backround. I’m always in awe at his bass lines when i listen to these guys

I'm 39 and grew up on pennywise and bad religion. I barely heard of these guys because of a random play list on Spotify. Music has came a long way. I am glad to at least be experiencing it now of cigar. I'm surprised fletcher didn't push this band more.
Where the hell is the crowd?? This could easily be one of the best bands to play at warped tour that year, possibly ever. Mad skill in all of the players

These guys are literally in my top 5 fav punk bands of all time. I only got to see them once but it was probably the best punk show i ever saw. Thanks for whoever put this video up. I agree with a previous poster that the crowd should be much much bigger, but did you notice how it actually did slowly get bigger over time? Awesome
Yeah you could see some people slowly start to bob their heads and the cheers grew louder after each track

They got cut off right at the heater moment that bass switch up started to get them moving they just needed a second to warm up

Cigar was/is such an awesome band! I remember listening to them at John Henry's when it was open on 11th in Eugene, OR in the '90s -- when we were there often since my ex-boyfriend's band and his good friend's band and the whole crowd of affiliates frequented JH. I loved Cigar from the moment I heard them!
Cigar is back for a single show ! At the Music 4 cancer festival sept 28 !! with A Wilhelm Scream, MUTE, twenty2, The matchup, Organ Thieves etc

i never got to see them cuz i heard about them too late. incredibly awesome thing though: i was at a thrift store a few years ago and i saw one of their shirts from a canadian tour in 2003. bought it for $8!

The bassist in this video is Jason Torbert. He left the band a few years ago.

My band Shut Up & Drive got dissed back in 2001 at the Living Room in Santa Barbara, CA because the A-hole in charge (who acted like such a tough guy) decided to drop us and let his boy-friend's band play in our slot - although we drove 2 hours to get there and were prepared. Hey A-hole, you know who you are, if you're reading this to this day I'm still holding that grudge - have fun playing with your Barbie dolls ( I shared this because getting shitty slots at gigs happens - unfortunately )
