Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley of KISS on the Jack Docherty Show from England in June 1997. I received this in a trade with another KISS collector.
Let Ace and Peter talk, jeez. After the Tomorrow show with Tom Snyder in ‘79, G&P would never let Ace and Peter speak again. Fools, they’re the most entertaining!
I guess at this point Ace and Peter just couldn’t be bothered. They were hired hands, placed at the back seat and not very happy ones at that.

some of these host really look like they are making fun of KISS and no respect for them, I can just feel it.
Kiss had such an epic reunion tour with Peter Criss and Ace Frehley from 1996 to 1997. Woah!

Most boring interview ever.
They just throw Ace and Peter in the back and prevent them from talking when they are the more entertaining ones.
I will always love Ace and Peter they were the backbone of the band
Me watching this after the iconic Ace Frehley Tom Synder interview I love Ace his super funny.
Ace and Pete at this point again we’re over it. Ace didn’t say a word just let the Paul and Gene show roll on
at that time Ace and Peter were paid employees. which is all they deserved at that point. those 2 were fortunate to have another huge injection of money earned for being back in Kiss. Gene and Paul deserved the large percentage they were making because they never left, quit or abandoned Kiss to that point.

@@javtimestwoYour ignoring the FACT that KISS was DONE in 1996, due to absolute lack of interest. Ace & Peter saved KISS, at this point. If they refused the reunion tour, KISS would have ended in 1996. Their big mistake was not coming into negotiations, as a united front.

Yeah but you are also forgetting ace and peter were flat broke in 1996. Peter had no Idea if the reunion was going to work. Gene called him the morning tickets went on sale for tiger stadium. 45 minutes sold out. Peter was so thrilled he said " He was jumping on his couch screaming in his apartment " I doubt they would of said no to a reunion lol
Once again it’s the Paul and Gene show. I think Peter spoke once and I don’t recall Ace even saying a word at all… 😐
We at least got one of the many Ace laughs 😅😅. I bet they were TOLD they were not there to talk!!!

Saw them at finsbury park ,they were fucking brilliant, great support from Rage against the machine , skunk and anzie but Kiss was on fire !
It`s weird watching these TV shows in 2023. How short the interviews were. Often down to just 5-6 minutes. How the goofy hosts rarely had any interesting questions, trying to get some easy jokes in and just rushed through it to end it on a high note before going to commercials.
I love the video showing the boys in Detroit Rock City. Incredible.
Ill never forget the disappointment I had when I actually heard Kiss talk in interviews. Their onstage personas were epic, even magical, but when I heard Gene and Paul talk, at first it made them human, then the more they spoke, I realised, they werent even very good ones
It should be noted that this interview was recorded after Bruce Kulick & Eric Singer left after completing Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions in '96.

All of the questions he asked should have been basic knowledge even back then and kiss answered them in at least 2 other interviews... ugh
Absolutely stupid.If I had been Ace up there,I would have to ask myself if everyone had forgotten my classis album "Trouble Walkin'".Some people have a difficult time with acknowledging the past.I'm glad that Ace didn't say anything... 'cause why the fuck should he?

I could never understand, why they bothered putting on all that gear and make-up just to go TV for a few minutes...
I can certainly see why before unmasking but after... idrk maybe because thats how it used to be originally as well! Some people say that thebintrrviews take away from the mystique of things so maybe they wanted to at least be in gear. I for one admire their committment. To always own that look even for 6 minutes of interview is so cool
