@@ianmccreery2356 Doh, I knew it was going to be something silly like that - I heard of neap tides but had no idea that wasn't a more correct term - of course I've now searched out that one and stand very corrected!!

Terrific footage, Lucy…you certainly have captured the maelstrom of waves as they funnel in beside the clock tower! 🌊
Its always so awesome to watch the power of the sea.🤗
Lovely clear video. I wish I was there... swimming.
Could watch this type of thing all day 😊
Is it really called spring tide in October?!!! Those kids need to keep back and keep safe.
Spring tides are not related to the seasons, it refers to the height of the tide

The sea is truly mesmerizing 😳❤️
So this is where Richard (Aphex Twin) was born. Beautiful.
The water's edge is normally 200 feet short of the seawall.
WOW! Very big waves! Video 👍
Stunning footage!
Sorry to see kids playing there, one slip and they're done. What is that gap, a boat launch? They need to consider sealing it up.
Young boys are naturally reckless but where are the responsible adults ?
Sweet
Do you have to pay the window cleaners, lol 🤣🤣. Stay safe folks 🙏🙏
"Go on Mother, take a look over here..,ooooh whoops😮"
I do not understand why people build homes in the ocean.
