hi Luka! i just watched a vid by u on smartphone photography, i learnt so much from it! thank you so much for the contents. i'll definitely check your other vids to later ;-)
Thanks for the video. One thing I really struggle with is deciding which images from a shoot to select for upload. Obviously technical requirements are important but if they are all of a similar technical standard, how then do you decide between your images?
Well, I just upload upload a bunch of them. I just make sure they are not too similar. When I shoot 1000 images, I usually upload around 100 of them. Well, it also depends, if on the shoot we are switching scenes quite fast, so there is more different content I sometimes also upload 200 out of 1000. It is hard to say and it really depends.
Since I began my Stock photography journey, I have sold images that were nothing special, and I am only just beginning. As I am older now, dealing with my images being rejected is really a non issue. I try different things and if they are rejected that's ok. One of the perhaps hardest lessons with stock, is that it might be a great image, but is it commercially valuable? Recently I sold a couple of videos taken a little over 6 months ago, which was a nice surprise.
Yeah, on stock sites you never know what will sell. And for rejections, they are just a part of the process. You just have to accept them and learn from them.
@@LukaAzman "Eligible for data licensing" I recently submitted a simple image and received this notification. I wonder what types of images that they look for to include in this.
Well, I am not very familiar with Canon, but I would say R10 looks better. It has RF mount, so when you will be buzing lenses, you can also later switch to something like R5 or any other future camera, and you will be able to use those lenses, AF is definitely better - more focus points and similar, newer processor, and also it shoots 4k in 60fps, which is great.
Great video Luka! Its nice to see you! Cheers
Hey, hvala :)
Hello Luka, thanks for all your tips and advices, i upload my first 70 pictures, 27 views, 4 sells ❤
Hey, that is great, just keep going 💪

Whats going on with Getty Images Statistics and Royalties page?
Well, I am not sure, everything looks normal to me.

Between Canon M50 Mark ii and Canon R10, which is the best for stock photography?

@@LukaAzman thanks for your response 👍
Hilarious! Fun to see how successful photographers had to grow before they became successful!
Well, yeah, I didn’t have much experience in photography back then, but it is good to see the growth :)
you were still producing good images back then, i was shooting garbage few years back. 🤣🤣
Thanks man, but when I look at those images, and the ones I am producing today, it is such a difference 😱
@@LukaAzman ❤
Fun fact : my latest collection is like your old portfolio.
Haha, don't worry, just keep learning and shooting, and you will get better :)

Would be more fun if you also said how many times they actually sold.
Yeah, I know, I wanted to do that, but I couldn't find these images easily in the statistics :)
