    Baker creek has new varieties when you hit menu bars, then shop all, then new ones top left. It has some new and last years new seeds

    What is the water needs of this plant?

      It's a grass so it grows pretty easily! Never looked wilty or anything. I just watered it here and there if we went many days without rain.

      @@inchwormgardens Ok, Thanks... . While Kentucky blue grass grows well in KENTUCKY. But out west ......Not so good. Why? Because of the water the grass needs. I am in zone 6 and I am close to a desert area.
      So what zone are you?
      Asia uses the other variety as a tea .Available in the local grocery store

    It's a holy plant in Hinduism and called वैजयंतीमाला
    The pearls/beads are sacred

    I am so disappointed, I bought your type and I thought they were the grain type. I grew them. They are beautiful. But now where can I find the grain type if you would please.

      Dang! That is disappointing! Here's what I found: "The cultivated variety Coix lacryma-jobi var. ma-yuen is harvested as a cereal crop, has a soft shell, and is used medicinally in parts of Asia."
      But I couldn't find any seed suppliers for this variety! Sorry!
