2nd half was better than the first half. Low ratings were justified in 1st half as it alternated between good and boring, disappointing cringey dialogue (actors saved it really). Glad I went back to finish it as it improved and ended well.

I don't think she became queen. He probably had to gave up his throne to stay with tae eul, prince buyeong's daughter probably became queen. There was no hint of tae eul giving up her life in republic, they probably just went back n forth. But that's my own ending.

I noticed many fans trying to figure out why there isn't a wedding or why they don't have children...and most reasons being they can't because their doppelganger exists in the other world. While that could be one of the potential reasons, it makes me think....why can't it also be that they weren't planning to have one? Be it a wedding or build a family? Because they weren't going to give up their lives in their respective worlds and they just want to be with each other, and that was enough. I think a couple doesn't always have to choose a wedding or building a family as part of their future. Let alone a couple from parallel worlds whose future is uncertain. Lee Gon might have wanted Tae Eul to come to his world and live with him, but he later on understood that she had a life of her own too, and it's selfish for him to force her to give that up. So in the end they agreed on just living in the moment and to me, that kind of love is really rare and beautiful.
The thing is that Lee Gon is a King. Supposed to have a heir to the throne. But we can see it's not important in the movie. He will just leave this to Se jin. This is really not reality.
Actually this is more natural when she refused to go with him explaining her reasons and he actually understood her..and that is what we call love;) not what is shown in typical k dramas (like even in W ) where the girl so easily decided to go with her man leaving everyone behind somewhere in the middle eps . that was unnatural .

All the actors did such an amazing job telling the story and it looked and sounded beautiful. I can't think of anyone else to play the roles that were played here because it was fate that they play these roles. All the people who worked behind the scenes respect to you for making the story come together so beautifully, without you we would not have seen the story in the splendour that we saw it in and heard the beautiful sounds that were in it. Well, the rating was so low but the rank on Netflix was always high. I think they did that on purpose, to aim international viewers instead of local viewers. I mean, there are lots of dramas in Korea that need some brainwork and those kinds of dramas mostly have low-rating. This one also. So, instead of targeting local rating, they aim for international rating. And that's smart choice. I can't imagine a story of parallel world but they made it in melodrama format, just focus on emotion aspect.

I noticed many fans trying to figure out why there isn't a wedding or why they don't have children...and most reasons being they can't because their doppelganger exists in the other world. While that could be one of the potential reasons, it makes me think....why can't it also be that they weren't planning to have one? Be it a wedding or build a family? Because they weren't going to give up their lives in their respective worlds and they just want to be with each other, and that was enough. I think a couple doesn't always have to choose a wedding or building a family as part of their future. Let alone a couple from parallel worlds whose future is uncertain. Lee Gon might have wanted Tae Eul to come to his world and live with him, but he later on understood that she had a life of her own too, and it's selfish for him to force her to give that up. So in the end they agreed on just living in the moment and to me, that kind of love is really rare and beautiful.

The thing is that Lee Gon is a King. Supposed to have a heir to the throne. But we can see it's not important in the movie. He will just leave this to Se jin. This is really not reality.
Actually this is more natural when she refused to go with him explaining her reasons and he actually understood her..and that is what we call love;) not what is shown in typical k dramas (like even in W ) where the girl so easily decided to go with her man leaving everyone behind somewhere in the middle eps . that was unnatural .

It is a pity that the ratings could not reflect how wonderful it was but we who watched it and saw it for the amazing piece of work that it is will always remember and love it and will tell others how wonderful it is. All the actors did such an amazing job telling the story and it looked and sounded beautiful. I can't think of anyone else to play the roles that were played here because it was fate that they play these roles. All the people who worked behind the scenes respect to you for making the story come together so beautifully, without you we would not have seen the story in the splendour that we saw it in and heard the beautiful sounds that were in it. To all who loved this show as much as I did thank you for taking the time to watch it and appreciate it for the wonderful piece of art that it is.
Well, the rating was so low but the rank on Netflix was always high. I think they did that on purpose, to aim international viewers instead of local viewers. I mean, there are lots of dramas in Korea that need some brainwork and those kinds of dramas mostly have low-rating. This one also. So, instead of targeting local rating, they aim for international rating. And that's smart choice. I can't imagine a story of parallel world but they made it in melodrama format, just focus on emotion aspect.
The last episode is just not enough.......I want more😭, there's this swell in my chest and I can't just get over it.
