This video talks about how chronic sinusitis is more related to nasal allergies and how homeopathic medicines are a natural solution for treating sinusitis permanently .This video talks about the aetiology of sinusitis . It also talks about the indications for use of two top Homeopathic medicines for the treatment of chronic sinusitis - Kali Bichrome and Hydrastis
Chronic sinusitis means sinus inflammation that last for more than three months. It is frequently seen that people take antibiotics for treating it. But that give temporary relief. Some opt for drainage surgery to drain mucus from the sinus. This is also not very successful and sinusitis recurs again. Both these things fail as they are not able to treat the root cause i.e nasal allergy. Homeopathic medicines are very effective for treating sinusitis especially that is chronic. These are effective as they work by treating the root cause means nasal allergy.
Sinuses are four pairs of air filled spaces in skull (frontal, ethmoidal, sphenoidal and maxillary). These are connected to nose from inside and have same lining like nose. Sinuses produce slight mucus and supply it to the nose. Sinuses opens in nose. Increased mucus production and swollen sinus lining from allergies blocks the sinus openings. Consequently the sinus mucus discharge that normally drips in our nose collects in sinuses. Bacteria present in air start to grow and thrive in these collected discharges. It results in sinus inflammation. In chronic allergies this process of blocked sinus opening, collection of mucus and inflammation repeats again and again.
It causes fullness, congestion and pain in the affected sinus. Morning headaches are common. Depending on the sinus involved pain may occur above eyes, root of nose, cheeks, teeth or area above upper jaw. Next main symptom is thick mucus discharge from nose. The discharge may be yellow green indicative of infection. Fever can occur from infection. Next common symptom is posterior nasal discharge i.e. dripping of mucus from back of nose in throat. It may cause hoarse voice, sore throat and cough. In chronic cases nasal lining may overgrow resulting in polyp formation. Polyps are small growths inside nose that obstructs sinus drainage. This is another cause for sinusitis .

Two top grade medicines for chronic sinusitis treatment are kali Bichrome and Hydrastis. These treat almost all symptoms of chronic sinusitis as well as the underlying allergies.
Kali Bichrome is very effective for chronic sinusitis. It treats the mucus membrane which is causing over production of mucus. It treats allergies thereby decreasing mucus production giving much needed help in sinusitis. It also helps in draining the collected mucus from sinus. Kali Bichrome is indicated for thick yellowish greenish sticky discharge from nose. Though effective for any of sinus inflammation it is most helpful in cases of frontal sinusitis. It is also helpful for heaviness and obstruction at root of nose. It is also indicated for nasal polyps and anosmia (loss of smell). Hemming and hawking of mucus is another important indicating symptom.
Second important medicine is Hydrastis. It is mainly indicated when there is posterior nasal discharge. With this there may be frequent throat clearing, cough, sore throat. For treating nasal polyps two main medicines are Teucrium and Sanguinaria.
Belladonna is very effective for acute symptoms like fever, headache, congestion, sore throat. It is a short acting medicine that can be taken in 30 C potency 3 - 4 times a day.

Sir, thanks for your video. My problem is posterior nasal discharge. Very frequent KY I have to cough out mucus from my throat. I have this problem since last few years. Some time I have to sneeze out sticky cough from nose. But I don’t face any pain on my forehead. I am 62 yes old. I have never taken any medicine for this problem. Pl suggest if I can take Hydrastis 30c and if so pl suggest dose also.
