- Come along for a flat calm paddle at dawn timed to catch the dawn chorus. This was filmed in mid May which is a great time of year for the dawn chorus in Ireland however the morning that followed was as beautiful as the dawn we woke so early to catch. Drifting slowly downstream from the through the marshes with all the life that’s there in full bloom was probably the best of it all. Hard to say exactly, but probably.
Filmed at the broad meadow estuary next to Malahide, county Dublin
Great video. I used to get out in the UK for the dawn chorus and it is so special. Now I live near the arctic circle and the dawn moves around a lot!
Thanks again!
Robin
Wonderful Robin! Very glad you let those jobs wait 😊 You portrayed a beautiful time alone - drifting and immersed in nature. Ahhh…the relief of a drone returning home 😎
Thank you Miriam. Recovery onto a moving platform is a challenge that has major slapstick potential 😄
Hi Robin. Very well captured. Dawn is a beautiful time of the day and more so in nature. I would imagine that you were well chilled out after that morning 😎 . 👍
Thank you Andrew. I’ve never been sorry to watch a dawn and I’ve watched thousands through the shift working careers I’ve chosen, however to catch one just for the sake of being there to catch it is a very rewarding return on the loss of sleep invested in the enterprise. I loved it.
I like, "It took an hour to be bothered!"😁
😅you know how it is.. I was wound all the way down 😊
brilliant production Robin, amazing what you can do with that camera .I am just so impressed by it. And the scene with all the bugs, that was beautiful recorded, so sharp ! And yes it is worth to get up early and capture the best peaceful moment of the day ! well done !
Thank you Willem. The bugs were just caught in my iPhone using the 2.5 optical zoom. I have really never seen anything like it. The birds hunting the bugs as well. That’s the real power of the phone camera - it’s there to take the shot when one presents.
@@VISTATREKKER yes I also choose some shots to shoot with my iPhone 12 pro MAX sometimes. I am trying to learn more about the insta 360 X3 on RUclips , I starting to be really enthusiastic about it, but it is a big investment. must say the possibilities are endless ;-)
I do see some problems with the digital stitching between the two lenses. A lot of my footage on this one had my head in double vision, so it’s not perfect, but it’s certainly able to give a view that nothing else can. The main thing I love is that it captures images while I’m not concentrating on it. It’s like a silent observer. I forget about it and then you capture real un-contrived moments and also tend to be less distracted by the task of photography.
@@VISTATREKKER it is already on my Wishlist for Santa ;-).
@@KEYTOWN071ADVENTURES you’ll have to be very good then 😄
Jobs can wait..... "Me Time" far more important.
They’re still waiting Paul 😂
