Hi, Cheri and Baublers. Cheri, you can rattle plastic as much as you want, for my part. As a crafter, I enjoy the sound of opening plastic packaging. It's part of the joy and anticipation of the whole crafting experience. The necklace at 58:04 appears to have azurite, coral, chrysocolla, red jasper, milk quartz, amethyst, sodalite, yellow-green aventurine And several other types of stones. Your identification skills are growing. Well done, my friend. The "nick" on the leopard skin jasper earring stone at 1:04:15 just helps to prove that it's genuine stone. The porcelain pin at 1:12:07 has a "glossy" finish, whereas the other two pins have a "matte" finish. The third pin looks like a peony, because of the shapes of its leaves and intricate petals. The necklace at 1:13:35 has black "e" beads and small + large, "pony" beads that appear to be teak wood. The black necklace at 1:32:15 doesn't look like any hematite that I've ever seen, because hematite has a brushed, metallic sheen and your necklace is more glossy in appearance. If it's magnetic it could be magnetite. If it isn't magnetic then it could be onyx or black Jasper. The gem chip necklace at 1:32:52 is Malachite and azurite. Remember, they often grow together in mineral deposits.

As for the hematite necklace, perhaps it is my lighting? Its getting darker out earlier, and I don’t have good light in my place. I also added back a light that has yellow hues, but i need to not use that light at all as the yellow throws everything off. But that necklace was heavy just like hematite, and the texture and weight of it could not be onyx. Maybe I’ll post some better pics of it on the Facebook page so we can solve this mystery.

You should use jewelry cleaning wipes. The alcohol might take off some paint.
Yes, I do say that in the video. I have other wipes I use too. Those wipes kept drying to fast too. Thank you for watching.

I am not overwhelmed when discovering it all. Sometimes overwhelmed when the pieces I don’t know about pile up and I need to research it all.
I don’t let the jewelry pile up. I keep it moving, and am constantly organizing it so I can make the color jewelry bags, jewelry jars, and 5 piece vintage lots that I sell on eBay.
I’m sure we will have an UnTaNgLiNg video when I open that bag of metallic pieces. I see a lot of chains. 👍🏼😁

Thanks! I've been wearing it for a long time but the other bracelets I was wearing with it may have concealed this one, so I'm glad I took those off.
True Jet is actually not cold it is warm to the touch and light in weight. Bestbway to test is scratch on a piece of bisque/unglazed porcelain and if it makes a dark mark its jet.
Yes, understood. True Jet is petrified wood. French Jet black glass is what I have in the video. Thanks!

The cobalt-blue stone with aqua coloration in it @ 1:33:00 is called azurite. It forms with malachite in it.

In the beginning of the video we see a yellow glass beaded necklace. They are big round glass ball beads, clear, with what looks like yellow lace inside the beads!! To get the perfume smell out of jewelry, use a mixture of water, baking soda, and white vinegar. Take a bowl of warm water, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and four ounces of vinegar. Soak your jewelry in this mixture for 2-3 hours to remove the smell
I am gong to try this because I just bought a lot of jewelry and one of the necklaces has that smell. Ugh. I thought I'd have to dispose of the necklace. But I'll try this.
Do you know if the vinegar will remove coatings? The piece is made of plastic.

use mild soap like baby shampoo and a little less baking soda and soak. I can't say that vinegar wouldn't. So just use this suggestion instead then

The pearl and silver bracelet looks like Brighton which is silver plated maybe? I saw it was not marked, just really looked similar.

Pin @ 39.01 is not Precious Moments. PM figures usually have large, teardrop-shaped eyes. It looks more like Holly Hobbie, which often had little black dots for eyes. I would guess it is a home made decoupage on a ceramic back.

That's not a Precious Moments brooch. It is a decoupage of a Joan Walsh Anglund drawing. Her books were popular in the 60s and 70s. The brooch appears to be crafted at home, like many of the era.

Hello Cheryl, I’m so sorry to hear about your struggles. Bless your heart for being such a help to your husband. I’ll be praying for the both of you and for all who are touched by this with you. I took care of my Mom and it was not easy, but its also wonderful to be there for them. I can’t say certain things in comments but I can if we chat in mail.
As for the camera, I have an older iPhone X, I prop it up in a phone holder, have lots of lights on, and away I go. I am not at all tech savvy so if I can do it, you sure can. I’m cheering for you and am happy to help in any way I can. ❤

Sad. I was told to spray your fragrance on your back or inside arm. Not on your neck. ( especially not on jewelry. Will discolor or ruin the pieces.😢
I know, right? I was kind of mad. But its ok. I put it aside and put it in 3 bags so I don’t have to smell it.

I wonder if placing in a paper bag with B. soda for a few days? I bought a handbag with a Oder . I was determined. Then when that didn’t completely solve it, I also place a couple of Bounce sheets in there. Problem solved!!! 😄( took about a month.👌🏽
