Please Tanya don’t change anything about you! I love your laugh and the sweet way you greet the horses and ponies. We are all so lucky that your wonderful family shares your adventures and knowledge with us. Rock on!
You two are a hoot I've been watching all your videos love them. The relationship between you two is so special always be yourself. Keep up the work training people and horses lol
Dear Tanya, You are NOT too loud!!! Your laugh is AMAZING!!!! I love hearing your voice in the videos!! Espically (I spelled that wrong, didn't I? lol) when you jump in with a quip or a tease to Steve!! You two are so fun and silly together and it makes me smile every single time to hear your banter together!!! Forget the haters and just keep doing what makes you happy!!! My love to you all!!
Keep being yourself and cackle away! No worries about picky people! Most are miserable people inside themselves! We love you and Steve!!! Thanks so much!❤️🐎 From the State of Washington! Love your life!
Tanya, your laugh is beautiful, genuine, and spreads joy. Please don’t change a thing. You and Steve share priceless knowledge and uplifting messages with us for FREE. Anyone who complains about a lick of it doesn’t deserve it to begin with. Love you both!
No, no, no! Tanya you are delightful and respectful when you cackle! Please don’t stop! Your filming is spot on as well. What irritated me once, was when Charlotte was filming. She was talking over Steve and telling him how to train a horse Steve was training. She was disrespectful and pushy. Kids, what are you going to do??? Tanya, please keep doing exactly as your doing!! So enjoyable!
OMG, you guys! Putting the mic on Steven: BRILLIANT! Thank you. I did a little happy dance when Tanya asked about putting the mic on & I danced my phone all around the kitchen when it fired up. 💞💞💞
My husband just asked who I was watching, answered the horse guy from Wales…that likes Tombstone. He got it. I love the back and forth between you two, so refreshing to see a great marriage in the process. Tanya is herself, which I love. I’ve got a sign that says “if you think I’m too loud, you’re too old.”
THANK YOU for using a microphone on Steve!!! It is so much better to hear what he is saying. Now if you get a windscreen for the mic it would be perfect, you do such a good job with the video, Tanya! Steve never ceases to amaze me with how fast a horse can learn. I really appreciate that he does not inflict pain for teach a horse.
Love you both. Ignore the criticism. Think everythink is great. You are so real. Please don’t stop either of you. Sending hugs to Tanya for some bad comments. Please don’t change! They can get a life or pay for private treatment. Julie, Saskatoon, Canada, Welsh !
I LOVE hearing you giggle and chuckle and you and Steve bantering and remembering. It's lovely ! Some people aren't happy unless they're trying to bring others down. Don't you change girl if they don't like it then why are they watching the video's ? Scroll on past grumpy people ! Cheers from Ontario Canada
Tan, you keep on doing YOU!! Don't let anyone try to change you. I love hearing you and Steve reminisce and then Steve go on and do the video. So don't worry about what anyone says!! Well done Sally!! So chuffed that you gained some confidence from Steve. Love from a trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 💖 🇨🇦 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Tanya. Love the relationship you and Steve have. Don't change anything. You also add do much to the videos with your own observations. Don't change anything. Love each video.
@@mariewallace4336 That's why I said, "You keep on doing YOU!!" I don't know about you @Marie Wallace, but she adds so much to the videos, as much as Steve does. Perfect pair for each other I think. The way they tease each other, you can hear LOVE and COMPASSION for each other and who they are going to help all the time. Many Blessings to you. I wish you a Joyous weekend!!! Jenn in Ontario, Canada. 💖 💖
As always another great video! As you said Steve, Tanya should cackle all she wants! There are always going to be haters! I enjoy both of your laughter and sharing you do! You do an amazing job always! This is your friend from Idaho, USA. Thanks again!
Excellent video. Looking forward to the updates. Loving the mic. We all hang on every word you say so now the wind is not carrying it away and we don't get to miss anything. Loved the drive down memory lane.
Tanya love your background commentary the spontaneity, the coos, comments, super advice and yes laughing. You Steven and Charlotte are a complementary team. That is what your viewers really enjoy. Listen to Steve he is spot on 🙂🇦🇺
Love the new mic on Steve! Tanya, I didn't read where someone commented on your laughter in a negative way. I enjoy your comments as well & sometimes your laughter makes me laugh, so thank you for that! As many others have already commented: "You keep Doing You." There's not enough laughter in this world.
New sub here :) this channel is "Need To Know" when you work with horses, ride horses or even as a beginner, as you get to know basic things like not making it personel by looking the horse in the eye- look at it´s feet insteadt. Release pressure when it do what you want. There is gold to get here, and he (they) can help you Too :) Outstanding. Much love to All from Denmark.
Tanya, I live in Texas, USA. There is a saying here, pretty much all over the country, haters gonna hate. You laugh whenever you darn well please! I also love how you all discussed best breakfast. I judge a restaurant by the quality of their bacon. I love thick cut & especially if it's peppered. I would LOVE to try a proper English breakfast. Only Latinos have beans at breakfast here to my knowledge. Can't figure out why anyone wants beans!?🤣 We do here in the south when in season love sliced tomatoes though. Never seen people eat mushrooms either for breakfast but I love them anytime. I watch even though not a horse owner, I have used some of the techniques I have seen used here and it works on our goats to keep them from head butting us! How cool is that? Love you guys! Safe journeys and teachings!
The beans for a “proper English breakfast” are more like our pork and beans (Texas also but friends and family in England) The bacon in England is different than what we have here it is more meat and a lot less fat. With an English breakfast, you probably won’t need to eat lunch.
Tanya I love your laugh, you be you , don’t change for anyone.🤗 I’m so impressed on how you teach the horses, also I’d love to see parts of your trip in Turkey.
So sorry you and Steve are having to deal with some nasty people. Please know that you are helping people and teaching those you’re not able to reach. Thanks for sharing your videos.👍
Hi! Well I am a horse ❤er- not owner or rider. I did hot walking polo ponies and show horses (when I was young!) Now I love your video's and spend a lot of time watching them and enjoying you both. The time you spend just giving those people and the various horses and ponies the time and understanding they need to go forward is Very inspiring. Keep being healthy , and wise . Take care of yourself's and be safe in all you'r lives dealings. A 90 year old woman in Alabama, USA-
I love to watch you work with horses in "language" they can understand. It's almost as if they are grateful to be understood and to be able to understand the communication. Watching this fella, it's as if he is saying "you make sense to me. Can I go home with you?" I'm quite sure they are just as pleased when their handlers learn to do as you teach. The mike is a wonderful addition. I enjoy listening to Tan and the people watching. Their comments, and your conversations with them are just as much of a learning experience for viewers as seeing you work with the horses. I hope you find a way to allow us to hear both in these wonderful videos.
I found your comment about the Connemaras very interesting. I'm helping a friend with her 8y young, traumatized Connnemara mare who used to panick and rear + run and jump at almost everything out of the blue, you couldn't go into a field with her - 5m into it she went crazy... we started working with her similar to what you do, probably a little calmer because she was up in the air so easily, she needed to build some trust and calm first... - but she was SO responsive, she was an amazingly quick learner, she picks up everything in seconds and keeps it, even if you ask weeks later... BUT the relaxing and confidence building is a long path with her.... but we have time, it's so much better now, after 4 months, a few days ago i could walk with her on the trails free, without holding her, she's so attentive and well connected/focused now. Thanks a lot for your Videos, they are really interesting and i can always take sth :) greetings from Germany
It looks like he's just wind blocking. You can kind of hear the wind through Steve's mic and see the mane blowing. If he was mad, the ears would be down to his head more.
Might be also that he's keeping tabs behind him on them filming. Several times in passing he loses focus looking at them as they pass. His ears are back even as he relaxed his head and he doesn't show other signs of agitation. I think it's necessary to look at ears as one part of the sentence not the whole conversation. Ears back can be a sign of agitation but it would always be confirmed by the rest of the body.
Also nay sayers always spring from some type of envy. Rather you should be delighted that we the viewers love every aspect of your videos. Steve's affinity with horses and their owners, and your kindness and sincerity all makes for mesmerising videos. Don't change irresistible combination 🌷💖
In watching this (like all your videos,) I'm constantly reminded of the difference between power vs force. You don't force. Your power lies in thinking a step ahead and letting the horse find the correct decision. This makes you the benevolent leader without force. Forcing any animal or person only leads to sullenness or rage. Allowing the horse to find the answer and make the choice is where the power lies.
Just got off work and found you had posted a new video! Made my day! I love horses. Don't have one, but grew up up spending my summers hanging out in the horse barns at the county fair grounds. I so enjoy watching you work, seeing the scenery, and hearing the stories your family share. Your videos make laugh, some times make me cry sad (rescues) and happy tears (break throughs). Thank you for sharing!
I love all your videos don't listen to any negativity Tanya be yourself, it's lovely to listen to 2 very calm people enjoying what they do as a couple. and your work has helped build my knowledge. Thank you
I don't have my own horse and don't ride anymore since forever (i just rode until my teenage years), but I still love to watch ur videos! If I'm thinking about it, i did so many wrong things when I used to ride 😅
Your lives are quite the whirlwind !!! Have a fabulous time in Turkey. This video was amazing - the horse responded so well and so quickly. Steve's commentary is now very much clearer and it's interesting to hear the quieter little encouraging noises. PS. You two are a "team" , it's great to see and it works so well !!! ....
Another brilliant training session, Steve. There's so much great stuff happening in this video I can't remember it all, lol. Love hearing you chip into the conversation, Tanya so just ignore the nay-sayers. From one painter to another, shout out to Leah for your beautiful horse painting. Can't wait for what's next! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. PS~ would you mind posting a link to your vlog please? Thanks!
I love your videos. I don't usually comment on any I watch, but I felt compelled to comment on this one. Tanya, please don't take any of the negative comments to heart. There are a lot of toxic little trolls out there that have nothing better to do. You are an important part of the videos..... your comments, observations, and wonderful laugh adds a special layer to the videos. Keep up the wonderful work, both of you!
I love watching the horse rehabilitation and owner training. I do not even own a horse at this time. All I wanted to say is if you don’t have hater’s your not doing it right. Some people will never be happy, they also balance love. We only know how great love is because we know how bad hate is. 🙃 I always say stay true to who you are and you two are great, don’t worry about haters their just jealous.
I LOVE hearing Tanya's happy chatter. It brings us into your family and when you speak about Charlotte and Dan and the grand kids. I love to see when you stop by a pub for a bite and go shopping. The way you do your videos are so incredibly inclusive. I would love to just hop into my computer to join you. I don't ride anymore, but I love watching how you handle the most difficult/scared horses. It's beautiful to watch.
I'm really pleased you're posting on YT as they're much easier to watch on here, for rewinding and rewatching and catching up where you left off. Hope you can you post them all here xxx
Love watching the videos and the transformations that comes to the horses from Steve’s training. I find them very enlightening and informative. Tanya, please don’t change anything you do. Looking forward to watching many more hours of videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
I've raised foals, and I remember one, a colt, was very much into bumping and leaning on his mum for security. He would be leaning on her even as a yearling, if he got scared he would run up to her and barge into her. Of course she was fine, she never corrected him for it. So he was a horse who got security from literally being on top of you, and the more nervous he was the more he tried to jump into you.
The big take-away today (48:00) is in the sand arena, explaining the ‘now drive-now lead-now drive’ exercise. You pointed out exactly the spots of your view and rapidly changing from half to quarter to just behind, to feet, in secession, claiming the space. Then immediate walk away. Brilliant. It’s language the horse understands and appreciates.
What a great transition for this horse he did so great. I was so impressed with how quickly he lowered his head and and seemed comfortable with it, secondly he really took on backing his feet after Steve introduced the flag to him and it was very mild. I was impressed. Very bright horse I wish the owner all the best.
I'm binge watching your vids and haven't read the neg comments. I love the way you chit chat to the dogs and always talk to the owners. You are both very friendly, real and likeable. Steve makes training the horses look so easy!!! I know its not lol don't change just be yourself and ignore the haters x
Tanya, you cackle as much as you want. I love your videos and you should both be yourself. You are great people and have a beautiful heart for these beautiful creatures
It’s like kids, if they’re allowed to do without boundaries, they become worried and insecure. Expertts say insecurities turn into real anxiety, panic attacks and realize sometimes into mental illness. Kids want to feel safe with the adult in their life and they test you to see if you are stronger or weaker than they are. Dr Ed Young said one time that” when the will of your child comes crushing head on with yours, yours has to prevail, for their own good. Horses seem to want strong leadership, and this video is the perfect display of how this is true even with horses. Thank you Steve for another great video.
If people watching get in a snit over something, pay them no mind!!….you are being gracious in just sharing your video!!……Both of you are so nice to share it with us all!!…….we thank you so much!! I love your property and I hope more are watching you….New Jersey is!!!….finally a good day!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️thanks for the idea of a bacon biscuit and coffee!!!….it’s 4:43 a.m. and I aAM STARVING,!….lol❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tanya, you are great! Cackle away, love you and Steve, you are both such kind people. Tanya: "Steve, that's how you look in the morning!" Haha! It wouldn't be the same without you there.
Love your videos. When life gets too hectic I sit dow with a cuppa and relax and watch one of your videos. Steve I love that you are a man who can control your emotions and not take the horses problems/ behaviour personally. And Tanya, I love the way you get distracted with the dogs - you are such a softie. Keep laughing and don’t worry about those people who feel they have to critique everything - most of them probably don’t even realise how mean they sound. A good cackle is good for the soul! 💕
You make it so clear and repeating the steps will help us remember. Would you do this before our Colt goes for a run in the pasture or right when we lead him out of his shelter as you did here . He is 10 mos old . Is very excited and happy when we start leading him . And does get nippy as well . We say No and elbow him when He bites . Back him . Circle Him . Anything else to stop biting? But we haven’t lowered His head . Thank you for your great teaching. Laura 💜 Bear 🐴💜🇺🇸
I think that you make him walk in circles or back up if the colt starts to even think about biting. So, every time you notice the horse thinking about doing some thing that would be harmful to you, make him work harder and stop the second he shows more relaxed behavior. At least that’s what I understand from having watch Steve for quite a while.
@@louisegogel7973 thank you I agree . It is a challenge every time we lead Bear . He is a Gypsy Vanner Cross . Newly gelded 2 mos. So it is wonderful to watch someone who handles Gypsy Cobs in a kind manner . The eyes on these horses seem so kind and trusting most of the time . I feel most aggressive behavior comes from being pushed into fear . Then I see Bear react to defend himself. His bites and Nips towards us, seem come from being happy and playful. But He can’t play like that with His People Herd . 💁🏻♀️And you are right , notice the problem starting to happen before it does happens . Thank you Laura 💜 Bear 🐴💜🇺🇸 😇🙏
@@lauraalbertson7821 I have been watching a few different people’s horse videos which I learn so much from. Each one helps me understand the others even better. Steve Young as we are here! Klaus Hempfling … his body language is absolutely phenomenal! I would watch as many of his as possible to get a real feel for what is going on. Talk Like a Horse… watch his frame by frame descriptions of horse and human behavior and ignore the pink people commentaries, because what he has to say is really helpful in understanding what Steve snd Klaus each do. And I also watch some of others videos, but these three are my tops for learning. Also, have you considered other ways, such as sitting quietly near your horse and just tuning in to see if you can get a conversation of some kind going between you two? It may come through in feelings or images rather than words. Also Bach flower remedies or homeopathy can help everyone, horse and animal calm old stuff sown when a good matching remedy is selected.
Thank you I really learned so much from watching this video! And I've told several friends about how helpful this training method and Steve's ability to get it it across to the owner or the rider.
Three quarters through the video showed a huge amount of concentration on his behalf. He gradually showed a huge amount of understanding from him of what you wanted. A lot for the owner to take it all in. She will need do watch the video a lot to suss it out for her to execute the same movenents

Steve's commentary is now very much clearer and it's interesting to hear the quieter little encouraging noises.
PS. You two are a "team" , it's great to see and it works so well !!! ....
I agree! Thank you for Steve’s mic! So clear!
Wow I love that we can hear you so well now! Thank you thank you
Another brilliant training session, Steve.
I always say stay true to who you are and you two are great, don’t worry about haters their just jealous.
Wonderful improvenent in this young horse! Great job Steve and also Tanya filming it. ❤️❤️👍
The microphone is great! Thank you so much. I so enjoy your videos and look forward to them each week. I have learned so much.
Hope you can you post them all here xxx
i like tanya's delight when the horses run free and play, lol, she says weee!
Tanya. Do NOT change a thing. I love the joy you bring to the videos. You have a lovely giggle. Don't change a thing.
Please please keep safe always Tanya and Steve especially with these dangerous horses 🐎
I really love the microphone!! So much better audio and it’s lovely to be able to hear what you’re saying!!!
Love watching the videos and the transformations that comes to the horses from Steve’s training. I find them very enlightening and informative. Tanya, please don’t change anything you do. Looking forward to watching many more hours of videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
You both are awesome, don’t change a thing! Sending all the best to all of you and your family from the middle of Montana, USA 🇺🇸
I was also thinking this behavior is like that of a foal. He is only 5 so he is still verry young, but he needs to get confidence to grow up a little.
I love when you talk on your drives! Don’t stop talking Tanya! I love seeing your country!
I love what Tanya brings to the videos! Please don’t change a single thing!
Great video!! Wonderful info and sound!
Love getting a new upload from you!
Love the mic. Great job. I love being able to hear clearly. Thank you.
So nice to see you in the sun for a change!
It was amazing to see how you could just move the horse by looking. It was obvious to me this time what was going on. Lovely
Cackle away Tanya! You are a joy.
Tanya, you cackle as much as you want. I love your videos and you should both be yourself. You are great people and have a beautiful heart for these beautiful creatures
Really like the vest!
Can’t wait to hear about little Black Beauty😊

Omg she is gorgeous. Xxx how could you resist her. Xxx
Loved this vidio so much💖. U laugh all you like! You two are wounderfull. Bellow from us in Bruce Wi. 🇺🇸
I love all of your talking. It wouldn't be the same if you didn't talk.
Such a beautiful horse!!
