She is such a beauty. Watching this gave me a warm heart and smile. I'll bet when she is finished, she will be a wonderful partner for ground and riding. Great work once again Steve.
Thank you for all the videos. Even as long as they are, the more you see it done, the easier it becomes to do it yourself, and as others have said, if you don't have the patience or the time to watch something this long, you certainly don't have the time it takes to create a well-adjusted horse.
Malita poor girl just left her home, new sounds, new environment, new people, trainer that didn’t understand her. Praying for a new owner that will adore her. She’s super smart… Good luck sweet girl!
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Thankfully Steve exists to help her understand these strange humans. I hope her next home will be her forever home. She deserves it.

Splendid horse! Just imagine the disappointment, going to the trouble and expense of acquiring and importing such a fine and unspoiled youngster, to have that happen. Had she just kept riding out with your Charl she would have come along fine. Steve, this mare needs you to keep her. I reckon Lusitano is the best breed in the world. Greetings from Australia.
@@AppaloosaDreams I feel that Charlotte the owner is really not up to it and knows she must sell. I would have let her irons down 3 holes, to get her weight forward. She lacks the experience for a youngster. Maybe, without the trauma, they might have got along. Steve can fix trauma but cannot undo the memory. A year with Steve would value her at about tenfold what she is now.
wow, that was beautiful when she lifted the one foot while siding up , working so hard to please and learn, what a beauty she is. i gasped a little when she did it.
She's a very sweet mare, sensitive and got very claustraphobic with the pressure on the bit. Nothing wrong with her, just needs time to learn without being clamped down. Someone's going to have an absolute gem 💎 ✨️ in her.
That poor horse was given such a bad wrap by the other trainer. What a wonderful horse I never doubted for one minute you’d help that poor lost horse. You are AMAZING!!!
She’s a beautiful intelligent girl, a star from the heavens!🐎 Bless her,as she learns she can now be safe and loved. It will never change or go away!!❤❤
What a gorgeous mare --- I love her colour and her slightly Roman nose. I love how respectful Steve insists on speaking about other trainers. Melita will be brilliant for someone novice and above with a little more experience. Everything Steve touches turns to gold :)
I love horses. Being handicapped I’m no longer able to enjoy a little riding. And my sister who was a great cowgirl would ride with me couple of times a year. I enjoyed just going to her ranch and talking w the horses. Beautiful sympathetic creatures. Lost my sis 3 years ago. Her horses gone now. Watching you give love to these horses makes my heart burst with happiness, for your work and the memories of my Sis. Lost my brother 9 months after her. The grief has been overwhelming. Laying in my bed late at night listening to you has helped me very much. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR LIFE WITH US ACROSS THE POND. from a grateful old Texas gal 🙏🏼💙🙏🏼💙🙏🏼💙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh that was such a great watch. To see the difference in your training and what she had before, was like chalk and cheese. You can almost see the thanksfullness in her attitude. Great job Steve
She is beautiful horse. She shines like pure gold. She's extremely intelligent, a good disposition, very open to learning, well built, and likes Steve. Her only problem is her feet, I would put hoofflex on her, they are dry. If I were him I would buy her in a heartbeat. If for no other reason, as a project. She would be good at anything you want to teach her. Is she an Andalusian? A great horse and a great trainer.
Out of alot(all)of videos i've watched of yours Steve- i've not seen a horse fall in Love😍 with u Steve as FAST as Malika has. Yet times of simple "thoughtless" unrequested moves as if she didnt know how to be a horse. A true gem. ❤😊
I love how she seems to go to Steve for acceptance and praise. Im glad she was sent to you for training, she could have ended up in the long line of "troubled" horses.
My horse has a history of bucking; all I do so far is ground work. He is "sticky" backing up, and this video is a perfect instruction book for horses who buck. Back up lightly; head down. Thank you so much.
I know you're looking at her feet, but I'm drawn to her beautiful, shiny coat. Obviously a rider has to be trained too. Well done all. Wish I could buy her. Lovely horse.
I feel sad that she’s for sale and may come up against a different trainer in her future who doesn’t use Steve’s positive methods but uses old style training. She has warmed to Steve straight away. Bless her. 💖 Edit: Steve so many people say this lovely girl needs you and I totally agree. Can’t you just keep her for a year or so and teach her to trust humans without any fear of them? I can’t bear to think someone may take her who doesn’t understand her needs. Look how beautiful she is and so gentle - she’s breaking my heart here. 💔
Communication & consistency---that's what this horse needed. Steve speaks fluent "horse" & keeps at it until he is sure the horse understands & has internalized. I hope someone with good training skills buys this horse---I think she'll be outstanding for the right person.
This horse is stunning and with her mane reminds me of a Przewalski wild horse . Your vids are wonderful, and not only do you respect the horses Steve, your respect for people shines through as well Great professionalism! 😊 So lovely to see your work transforming these horses lives into a much more happier place to be and to give them a new start with loving human beings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love to be able to buy this mare, and I'm not a "mare" person. She is lovely and so willing to learn. Very unfortunate that she went to someone who didn't understand her. Steve did a great job and had real breakthroughs in such a short time. Super work.
We'll have to call Steve Doctor Dolittle because he speaks to the animals😊 it is such a relief when you see a horse that's been all mixed up by wrong training and suddenly they understand what is expected of them. It's very touching 💗
What a beautiful horse with a lovely temperament! She'll make someone a terrific horse. Fantastic work. Animals respond so well to your kind of attitude. They can sense your kindness and intent. Love this video!
She is gorgeous. I could never give her up! Praying she gets her forever home with someone who takes precious care of her. She shines and sparkles like a jewel.
Brilliant skills Steve has! I really appreciate being able to witness this live horse training. She is a beautiful horse & has very eager willingness to learn once she felt safe. Thankyou!❤❤❤

Her stirrups are too short so her heels aren’t under her hips making her sit too heavy on her back. It’s sad she wants to sell but I think it’s the right choice. This horse is too sensitive for this situation for just wanting to go out hacking on the trails. I would absolutely love to have this horse!!
It would be so much better if Steve would use a microphone and the person holding the camera would speak a lot quieter. Turning up the volume so I can understand what Steve says, to then get deafened by that lovely woman is quite painful. ;)
Melita is a lovely mare. Looks like the “trainers” were restricting her neck trying to make her keep her head behind the vertical? Awful! One step away from Rollkur. Arduous and cruel training for any horse. I’m really glad Steve is helping this smart young mare. Too bad the owner doesn’t want her anymore. I hope she gets her perfect owner and lives a long happy life. 🙏🥰
Beautiful video, they always are. Been watching since the very beginning and knew Steve was such a special horsemen, he’s so kind, calm and so effective! So much to learn, maybe if I watch enough of them and practice on my own horses will sink in.
I like Steve's satisfied chuckle when he sees the horse is responding well. He clearly enjoys working with horses.👍
She is awesome. She stepped and was a little trot, the fastest i have seen her move.😂😅. She is beautiful ❤❤❤❤.
I like the zebra mane!! Beautiful horse! Love that you’re having fun with her Steve.
Steve should own this particular horse as the mare clearly adores him.
This was just beautiful to watch.
That's one of if not the most beautiful horses I have ever seen❣️ What a glorious animal❣️ Gorgeous❣️💯 🐎 Thank goodness for Steve.

Noble. That's the perfect description.
